Tesla also markets electric powertrain components, including lithium-ion battery packs, to other automakers, including Daimler and Toyota. Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, has said he envisions Tesla as an independent automaker, aimed at eventually mass-producing fully electric cars at a price affordable to the average consumer. Tesla also builds electric powertrain components for more affordable cars including the lowest priced car from Daimler, the Smart urban commuter car; the lowest priced car to carry the Mercedes-Benz badge, the A-Class hatch back; and the lowest priced SUV from Toyota, the RAV4.
Once electric automobiles becomes mainstream then Tesla will be the top manufacturer,, the GM & Ford of electricc automobiles. Buy shares now and see it grow while you become a millionaire too.
Needs new product , new CEO willing to explore other opportunities. For now, it is run by management that are willing to sell the company then retire.
Management ran out of steam who cannot innovate to lead competition. I think AKAM is just waiting to be acquired but no takers. It has kept a good amount of cash that will be use to pay executives if ever a buy out occurs. Once a big client sign off, AKAM stock price will spiral downward. They could hardly come up with an exciting news.
ho ho ho ho :-))
in addition. If Tesla becomes mainstream, do you think the power utility company will not hike their electric bills? Electric power will go up not just by the private firms but by taxes from the government as well. Take alook at the gasoline price where 1/3 of its price goes to tax. By the time electric cars are mainstream, gasoline will be back to a dollar a gallon but electricity bills willl jackup. Time to invent a nuclear powered vechicle by then :-)) haha
I cannot wait to see TSLA succeed maybe not in my life time. By the time they become successful, I will be broke by then. Executives succeed but I'm broke. I can imagine many who bought shares today particularly in the high ground will be in that predicament. Be wise. :-))
Amazon is pro-active in cloud. The only viable buyer would be Amazon. Only if Amazon is interested. No wonder AKAM executives is keeping huge cash and no debt just in case there is buyout they can demand big separation pay. So that Cash account is for their retirement just in case. :-))
just buy netflix,, Apple or amazon. Prices are streaming and you got to enjoy their product as well.
Not even an analyst would ever think of such a thing. I believe AAPL has no interest in akamai's client. The business of AKAM has less room for growth. AKAM should have expanded its business like that of AMZN & NFLX who are continuously reinventing themselves. AKAM was left out.
