I don't know about $70 but there should be a good pop after Cabelas earnings. RGR is a pure weapons play which should dwarf Cabelas percent earnings. Going Uppppppppppppppppppppppp............

Hummmmm...........no news, visited 3 gun stores this morning; gun shelves still bare, no re-supply truck, no ammo, people behind the counter not taking phone calls or orders, plunging stock price..........yep, bought some more at a discount going into earnings.

.......segment earnings for the 4th quarter 2012 was 16.5 million (including the 3 million settlement case) compared to 0.5 million segment earnings from the 4th quarter of 2011 plus about a 20% rise in overall Winchester sales (155 million v 122 million) between the 2 years in the 4th quarter. I didn't see the backlog , but with 4 out of 5 gun stores in which 3/4ths of their ammo shelves are bare, chances are they will be REALLY busy for awhile. SWHC and RGR should benefit.

Not only were the sales blistering, but the price of ammo also went up 20-40% during those sales.............that is, if you could find any.

............. who makes Winchester ammunition, should have excellent numbers. About 4 out of 5 gun stores in America are completely out of certain rifle and hand gun ammo. A good indicator what SWHC numbers could do when it reports........

Part of her bill is to limit the purchase of certain clip ammunition; I would go out to buy some more but there isn't any to be found anywhere and the internet suppliers are also out of stock.......hummmm......sounds like Olin will be pretty busy for months and maybe years to come.

Taxes on assault weapons would pay down debt....in a hurry
by forupray •Jan 20, 2013 10:44 AM.........or we could have a dollar tax for every post on the internet and get the debt entirely paid off or how about a 20% tax on all restraurant food over 200 calories to pay off the debt or maybe a 25% tax on all clothes not make in America (Check your closet and see how much you would be paying) to pay off our debt. Here is my point: Do you want the government to tax the "C/*R*A^P out of you to justifiy their wasteful spending without any logical reasoning. That's what you are suggesting. Your suggestion won't stop the violence; the killers and bad guys aren't going to pay anything; just the law-bidding citizens will suffer.
