...........that Smith and Wesson could buy Winchester from Olin?
How about something even better than that; how about a 2 for 1 split. It's been 17 years since the last one..............
I don't know about $70 but there should be a good pop after Cabelas earnings. RGR is a pure weapons play which should dwarf Cabelas percent earnings. Going Uppppppppppppppppppppppp............
Sentiment: Buy
Hummmmm...........no news, visited 3 gun stores this morning; gun shelves still bare, no re-supply truck, no ammo, people behind the counter not taking phone calls or orders, plunging stock price..........yep, bought some more at a discount going into earnings.
Sentiment: Buy
Ah......ha.......the White House just issued a statement that "skeet" was slang for "field mouse" and that's why the President is shooting toward the ground................
That won't work; most of those thugs don't even know who both their parents are.
.......segment earnings for the 4th quarter 2012 was 16.5 million (including the 3 million settlement case) compared to 0.5 million segment earnings from the 4th quarter of 2011 plus about a 20% rise in overall Winchester sales (155 million v 122 million) between the 2 years in the 4th quarter. I didn't see the backlog , but with 4 out of 5 gun stores in which 3/4ths of their ammo shelves are bare, chances are they will be REALLY busy for awhile. SWHC and RGR should benefit.
Sentiment: Buy
Olin reports after the bell tomorrow.........get 'um while their hot!!!!!!!!!
Not only were the sales blistering, but the price of ammo also went up 20-40% during those sales.............that is, if you could find any.
...........and as my grandmother liked to say to me "What does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?"
............. who makes Winchester ammunition, should have excellent numbers. About 4 out of 5 gun stores in America are completely out of certain rifle and hand gun ammo. A good indicator what SWHC numbers could do when it reports........
Sentiment: Strong Buy
It looks like Al Capone never left Chicago......................
Part of her bill is to limit the purchase of certain clip ammunition; I would go out to buy some more but there isn't any to be found anywhere and the internet suppliers are also out of stock.......hummmm......sounds like Olin will be pretty busy for months and maybe years to come.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
.........And a grandfather in Kansas City, Kansas accidently backed his gas guzzling SUV over his grandson, killing him. So let's ban killer-gas-guzzling SUV's without a rear camera since they are so dangerous to kids.
.........or we could have a dollar tax for every post on the internet and get the debt entirely paid off or how about a 20% tax on all restraurant food over 200 calories to pay off the debt or maybe a 25% tax on all clothes not make in America (Check your closet and see how much you would be paying) to pay off our debt. Here is my point: Do you want the government to tax the "C/*R*A^P out of you to justifiy their wasteful spending without any logical reasoning. That's what you are suggesting. Your suggestion won't stop the violence; the killers and bad guys aren't going to pay anything; just the law-bidding citizens will suffer.
Not providing a link from the company on this statement; not believing it's true. You will be reported.
What!!!!!! There are still guns and ammo on the shelves to buy?
Sentiment: Buy
At one time, Obama TAUGHT constitutional law; what does THAT tell you other than he hates the constitution as it is written.
captain.......the Democrats won't take your suggestion seriously; it makes too much common sense.
The California fund was pulled because of moral reasons. That's why they put the funds back into the California Porn industry where it is so much more acceptable to them.
