No where near the rate our science and understanding has increased yield and production.
Which is why until the monstrous corn ethanol political corruption, the price of food always declined in the mid to long term trend.

    Despite a population explosion.

Progressive collectivists claimed it was scientifically proven enough food can not be grown.
Progressives collectivists claimed peak oil was a science proven fact. Even on this board in the middle of the American energy revolution.
Progressive collectivists claimed science proved we were going into an Ice Age in 1970.

The list of course is endless. Progressive 'science' is always a hammer to drive collectivist power.

AMerican row farmers would be very wise to encourage protein consumption by Americans.
Because it appears world growing capacity is already well beyond the limited imposed by physics for the completely defective corn ethanol political corruption.

I really wish I could bring back some Reconstruction Republicans who happened to be black to address Beckel and Caved-out-el. That it is fine to encourage any American to be emotional rather than objective, rational and purposeful. Those two would need a unabridged dictionary or Mr. Varney translating to understand the pinpoint admonishment delivered.

Really is great writing and clear reasoning. It takes effort but it is worth it.

Hey I just bought that bath light fixture for my remodel! The frugal are in a emotional fit!

But I am not surprised it sold out. Very high quality fixture and especially at the price point.

But I am having a Mr. Varney missed an opportunity to be frugal moment.

I wonder if the SVP Cavuto still has the Nagus authority to summon Mr. Blake on to his show for an interview.
Home Depot is one of the great all time American come back from the brink business stories.
Maybe Mr. Cavutos out of this world magnetism is not what it was. ;)

Honourable Jason Riley is something completely different than the collectivist talented tenth who believe they are entitled to lead a collective.

I think honored elder PhD Sowell and Paul Ryan can help fashion the economic response. As Americans we should understand full Liberty requires economic sovereignty. This is something the government can create favorable conditions but can not give or award.

There is plenty of economic dead weight special interest corrupt patronage to be eliminated.

But nothing is as large as using passive aggressive dissembling to keep our economy from fully utilizing American produced natural gas and ngls. Except for the shear evil monstrous insanity of corn or food based ethanol as a base load energy source.

  • It creates the room in disposable family income for small business to exist.
My heart broke last night when honourable David Webb spoke the truth. Still it did need to be said. The average Americans of Ferguson are good decent Americans and therefore people. They were respectful of a traditional individualist or 'conservative'. Something which is not allowed on and in our intolerant material nihilist secular religion places of higher 'learning'.
Honorable but emotion centered Juan Williams did a fine essary in the WSJ today. BUt understanding does not equate to individuals and personal virtue. Collectivism and Individualism have irreconcilable difference in the definition of virtue.
Black Christian immigrants are highly prized by rational women of our inner cities. No, young people do not operate in the Progressive biomechanical. They know injustice, corruption and oppression in experience. But the impact is mitigated by the power of virtue family. They like other immigrants will sacrifice for their childrens future. They will also move their families away from a dysfunctional neighborhood as soon as they can.
I even in my delusional state fully understand how and why far to many of our young American men who happen to be black are nihilistic and angry. I am deeply saddened that a promotional entertainment industry exploits the void Creating a segmented culture. A creation of an other which is more than skin deep.
I do Wonder that MLKing was provisioned by changing his name to Martin Luther King. The peasant revolts which resulted from a human rediscovery of the self sovereignty or Liberty had unintended consequence. How Luther responded and how all must be avoided could never have been far from the Majestic Civil Rights King family.
How brave and self sacrificing is Jason Riley of the WSJ. He has nothing to gain and nothing but pain to speak truth, as he understands it. Inclusive of his family.
    The collectivist talented tenth failed.

The problem is well meaning; therefore proven delusion by real world results, Progressive collectivists do not have the awareness to admit it does not work. If everyone would just think correctly they would do correctly and then finally we will be proven more enlightened.

Truth is for all their technological knowledge they may have at their disposal, their inability to accept the constant of human nature renders them primitive. The primitiveness renders their technological knowledge inert, if we are all very fortunate.

It gets back to Hyack's observations about the nature of both critical information and understanding being closest to the 'source' or reality at the local level. Keynes freely admitted his worked was flawed as it did not address Hyacks challenges centered on constant human nature. Further the nature of information and therefore understanding.

The Great Goolsbee of Chicago for all his talents and careful study is attempting to dodge the basic issue rather than meet it head on. So he functions more as a public lawyer than the economist today. Real waste.

Interestingly Hyack desired to engage Keynes in public discourse. But also understood Keynes had a far great talent at debate. I hope our truly well meaning Great Goolsbee of Chicago will come around like Keynes did. He does seek truth, But he is lost in his man made equations. Our equations do not change human nature and therefore behavior.

    This requires that 'supernatural' Conviction.

Pretty funny. What rational relationship does the theory of evolution have to do with economics? With human general well being now? Why is it the reflexive behaviour conditioned into the thrall collectivists with a very real delusion of superior awareness?

the behaviour would be entertaining antics if it was not the stalking horse to spread nihilism and therefore individual despair and from despair comes the anger the collectivist exists upon.

Why do all forms of collectivism use blood red color?

  • norrishappy norrishappy Aug 19, 2014 1:01 PM Flag

Paul Ryan has put in the time. NOt just marking time but contemplation of what he has experienced directly.
He is a serious man who strives for personal virtue as the necessary foundation of positive purpose. No he is not perfect which is why there is a humility about him or any other serious person.

The reality is a very large segment of America has been mandated an inferior education. MOney was poured on. But as any rational person would predicted, patronage under conditions of Progressive naive positivism as cover for situation ethics consumed the resources and truly good intentions of fellow Americans.

Truth is we now spend more on education than any other country. With large additional amounts funneled into challenged neighborhoods. The imposed intolerant secular religion of lowest common denominator material nihilism is clearly; at best, inadequate.

'Understanding' anger has resulted in community lawlessness. Lawlessness destroys community economics. Which produces an opportunity for excess profits immigrants exploit as small business. But they are passing through on their American dream by generations.

They like honourable Dr. Carson, first seek to leave the community dysfunction behind. Now he returns for his next calling as a healer. But will his logic and purpose be heard? Can it be understood or have promotion/entertainment elements so changed and segmented culture that Dr. Carson is not understood?

Adults understand immature emotions to direct them toward understanding and purpose. Most importantly it is not by definition a discussion between equals. Sadly the immature emotional is in no condition to be aware of the unequal relationship, they impose.

Economic policies towards general prosperity is the first logical step. But it will not cure family and then community dysfunction. Only manage the symptoms rather than cure. But if pain can be relieved every human being is in a better position to employ logic/purpose.

  • norrishappy norrishappy Aug 19, 2014 11:08 AM Flag

Of course ethanol is by detonation physics incompatible with our gasoline. So it is simply defective.
So there is no level or instances where corn ethanol can be useful. In fact as it has no benefit the only determination is how destructive it can be allowed to become. Under a collectivist President there is no limit.

Sugar ethanol destroyed the sugar industry. But it is still far less damaging than corn. Which is to say in the twisted logic it is more efficient than the worst alternative.

Brazil turning corn into ethanol when sugar is in capacity excess?

Getting rid of the Progressive ability to make food and energy artificially expensive is the first rational step. It not only aids poor people directly but also creates the consumer demand which creates economic opportunity.

Progressive/collectivist economists now claim our economy can only grow 2%.

Perhaps assuming we allow them to block our natural gas so as to impose corn or any other food destruction by what truly is insane mandate.

  • norrishappy norrishappy Aug 19, 2014 11:00 AM Flag

Progressives convinced a majority their government as the secular god could work miracles. The old foe of human nature vanquest by scientism. The deluded idea has been tested many time and failed badly every time.

We have reached a place where the virtue based tenth merge and blend with the traditional Americans at a stunning rate. Which the talented tenth of the self appointed patronage elite has effectively used to fan negative emotions, as a tool of control. The true diversity in humanity is what we value and our reason, not the superficial exterior or irrational emotions. Yet, some how the patronage elite convinces large numbers of Americans to live in superficiality and to demand understanding based on the resulting irrationality.

The fruit; just like JIm Crow collectivism, is to steal individual economic opportunity. Opportunity is another way of expressing individual economic sovereignty. Collectivism does not know a color but the price demanded is surrender of individuality or humanness.

That is the secular theology expressed. But the reality is Marx and the people he felt were degenerate just had to go away.

America can not go on wasting the God Given Talents of the vast majority of over 10% of our population. Dr. Carson is objective as only a person striving for personal virtue can be. He with his whole heart seeks the good fruit by reasoning. Can the Americans who need him most still understand him?

The Judeo-Christian understanding of Liberty is freedom. Far more important than material equality. It is the only true freedom in this fallen world.

So general prosperity and the resulting broad based economic opportunity this bears, is a clear first step.
HOw do we empower individual Americans?

True material want is destructive of LIberty. But it is something completely different than material equality.

True want is a tool of control.

Stag Monster and its corn ethanol. Now the bubble.

    Poor Willie,

Science does appear as magic to the primitive Progressive. Which is why they claim their 'scientists' are so far above them with the secret knowledge they and therefore of course we can not understand.

Just another ancient mystery cult brought back by the primitives of today.

As for the science of investment. No one has ever been able to sustain a claim to be able to time the market or even stocks.

Science does not make me superior. It just means I am rational and you chose to be irrational.

The interesting thing is primitives confusing concepts of personal virtue for negative emotions of superiority. Which you then project onto other people.

It is of course just another non-productive emotion and therefore determined behaviour of the primitive Progressive. Now days self identified as Progressive.

Seriously look at Warren. She truly is the completely emotion based irrational fringe.

HOw mad Who does love the remains voting of the Progressive voting.

The calendar efficiencies are well known and sustained. Enough so that if you are doing passive investments or withdraws from retirement accounts it is wise to just go with the flow.

Of course there can be exceptional things. Market maybe priced to perfection's perfection as Clinton engineered. Bit that could have been handled with a dramatic overweighting in way out of favor reits.

When was does not chose to think nothing is good or bad. Therefore good is to always vote Progressive collectivists.

Do we really want B Clinton running around our Whitehouse with time on his hands?

Why can't the Democrat Party run a Truman style person like Senator Manchien? His voters just want their jobs back and their nice communities as they were. Noodle the big companies for some extra stuff and make sure safety rules are followed.

With just a little bit of noodling it would not be so difficult to get the free market to send half the co2 down a pipe to our flowing American oil fields.

Warren? Maximum delusion and complete irrationality? We already have Reid and Pelosi. We do not need one who went early or perhaps never arrived.

Having so phanton native American genes makes you special. Not the culture. Not the traditions. Not the community.

    Forget 1984. It was 1964.

Why staggering monster. Historical patterns related to future returns how?

I know Iknow. The magic which goes with faith in Progressive mythology.

Back fitting is of course irrational and the most primitive level. No as in nil reasoning applied.

I mean even Jon Stewart can hold a pen. But even after careful observation over the centuries, I have never seem him or cursive or even print communication. He does do cave drawing though. Plus he should get credit for adapting technologies.

Besides, at this point his audience probably can not read cursive. But they can do pictures.

Now now Staggering Opie starve people for defective corn ethanol corruption -

Reduce the cost of food and energy? The American economy; other things equal, will begin a normal recovery. From such low levels of investment, utilization and labor participation, we could and should top Reagans best weeks. How about a million new jobs in a week?

All this progressive yabbering about consumer demand when their policies have destroyed it. $800 billion of our tax money and no one has any idea where it went.

So we really should have expected the insanity of disappeared hard drives when any one attempts to insure our government is under some sort of supervision.

Hey it is easy stuff to correct.

Getting the secular nihilist thrall Reid out from his wild abuse of Senate power and things the American people support in overwhelming majorities can begin. Or Obama can go on TV and explain why he is vetoing.

YOu know, how our system is designed to work.

Every reason to be positive. If we can get Reid away from his historic abuse of Senate power.

    Now now Willie.

YOu recommended a small family controlled ng tanker company based on long term contracts. But the option was at the customers decision after just a few years.

All which was necessary was to simply read the quarterly statement. You did not.

Like every other example. Like getting into a natural gas field service operator when the ng field was high cost relative to Marcellus.

Message boards are used by the rational to gain insight. Being over run by Ron^3 progressive troopers trying to establish they are 'right'; not understanding what is actually key variables let alone concepts, is silly.

Jon Stewart is funny and usuallly well meaning, in his way. That is why his show spans the centuries.

The real sad part is this is the most Staggering corn monster can ever be in this not sentient bio-mechincal level of existence. All time is personal and limited. Also uncertain.

The Chinese have struck back and are not buying American export grains. They are willing to pay a small premium to encourage the 1.600% increase in foreign capacity to continue. Stag being a self admitted terrible farmer says it can not make a profit below $4. Problem is it seems every one else around the world can.

Due to the mindless disruption of the value added rural economy for dairy and meat, feed demand will not come back per econ 101. If the crop is ever bad it will once again go toward completely defective corn ethanol. Ranchers forced to decimate their herds at low prices are not going to trust the Obama regime to do the right thing and follow the law itself. Anything lawful therefore respectful is not Obama.

This is a real mess. I hope family farmers are preparing for lean times.

Oh and food prices will not come down anytime soon. Not in dairy and meat and not in packaged foods.
Sustained 3% food inflation decimating American living standards was almost half absorbed into compressed margins and efficiency.

There is interest in maintaining market share but in this unstable and irrational regime, no one wants to start a war over market share.

  • There are well known calendar inefficiencies Equities tend to be higher at the beginning of months and lower towards the end. Fridays and Monday follow the same pattern.

Yet companies just let 'money managers' charge high fees. While putting contributions in at the beginning of the month.

If the investor is getting some sort of investment discount from the company it is always better to take the discount.

A lesion of the Five Rings is no element is to small not to consider. Within the frame work of logical information management.

Opie starce people for staggerings completely defective corn ethanol.

There is hard facts on how American incomes have made record declines under Obama progressive secular religion.

Food inflation has run almost 3% a year post the insane Renewable Fuel Standard law.
But that is not all the inflation. Food companies have taken it in the margins making up a very large portion in efficiency. But now it is showing.

Our economy has been under invested for all of Obama's years. The investment outside the economically energy industries has been primarily to lowering breakeven rather than expanding capacity.

So high value added rural economy activity is depressed. Nor are average Americans likely to see any reduction in grocery costs for the rest of the deary Obama time.

We just have to hope enough Americans realize the times require more than a political nihilist like Hillary and much more than a completely irrational delude for dysfunctional academia like Warren.

Papa had cheek bones and that makes me First American. Nothing to do with the people, their culture and their community. All is a product of not sentient nature. Truly secular religion.

    Willie demonstrates ignorance again.

Cattle are having babies like pigs now?

This is the never changing existence of irrationality brought on by a belief in Kcan't style naive positivism.

It is the same mechanism where church going Americans fade out of the national press in favor of the excitement of material nihilists doing what they do.

As far as swine, fish and poultry. Supply can theoretically come back very fast. Putting aside the piglet plague.
But once capacity has been mothballed it takes far more than one year of rational market prices for business people to take the risk and bring it back on.

Ah but Willie has hot tiips for companies he has not bothered to read the 10ks on. Always makes money.

  • A very real economic mess now. The high value added cattle, swine and poultry industries are not reacting to falling input prices and high finished product prices. Some of the response is the swine illness but it is also feed substitution. The foundation of the American food supply has been made undependable by political corruption/irrationality.

This is where the material nihilist Progressive like Obama-Jon Stewart start whining about business being selfish rather than rational. If cattlemen would just pretend their feed supply was not subject to irrational political corruption, all would be superior.

This is a powerful dynamic holding investment in our natural gas back.

If there is another bad crop while Obama sadly still sits in our President chair, food would once again go to mandate gasoline corruption first. Even in surfeit progressive corruption and resulting irrationality causes very real economic damage.
