Now Santa has become the ambassador of Christmas. Over time he morphed into a magical spirit with elves modeled on the Laplanders with their reindeer charges. Laplander is a term the Chuds applied to the Sami people for their worn out clothing. Certainly it is better to be thought of as caring and magical, rather than ready slaves, as Individual Liberty were their only worldly possession, chuds’ valued.
In our Christmas play, all moved by the spirit or more wonderfully the Spirit, are happily welcomed. Certainly this is counter to the Curmudgeon’s empty beer can clan assigning chuds to our play, with the stalking horse of appearances.
We could learn a great deal from the Sami Lutherans in protecting ourselves from the vastly more powerful. After all the Lord of the secular Media Mound; the Great and Terrible Curmudgeon of Christmas, has millions of otherwise young health chuds to send out to catch us, if we dare leave our homes to share the Spirit. A child first tries to show the chuds compassion and humanity. When that doesn’t work then use their hubris to trick them into walking off the cliff themselves. (The chuds get really puffed up with themselves on the mound but they do not walk on air, as they come to believe)
Hum Reverend MARTIN LUTHER King. Majestic Civil Rights. Won over nearly all American hearts. Still he did trick the empty beer can clan. Christian repent mistakes. Heathens self justify and rationalize their anger.
That the Grinch’s small heart Grew three sizes that day!
And the minute his heart didn’t feel quite so tight,
He whizzed with his load through the bright morning light,
And he brought back the toys! And the food for the feast!
And he, HE HIMSELF! The Grinch carved the roast beast!
Roast beast! Cried the Curmudgeon of Christmas! Leave them their Liberty and see what evil they do!
Christmas of course should be a time of the Light of the Spirit. A time when we; reinforced by close connection to family and friends, can reach out to a broader world with good will and a warm heart.
The Great and Terrible Curmudgeon of Christmas; Jon, began with the amusing spectacle of mocking. An atheist with a anger filled heart was pleased he could erect a tower of spent beer cans right next to a Crush. This greatly amused and encouraged his followers who now needed a justification or rationalization for such a hostile, pointless and self absorbed therefore anti-social heathen pleasure.
After erecting a tower of spent beer is an idea from a very old sitcom of another time was not originally filled with malice. This is why it was funny. The Great and Terrible Curmudgeon has been around a very long time so understands, yet goes over to the spirit of hostility rather than playful mocking, with no intent to wound. The talents of Jon and his writers are far too vast to rationalize the easy downward path.
Unfortunately, Jon did have a valid point when any one muses on the physical appearance of my Christ. It is a Wonder of Logic that we are not told the physical appearance of Christ. That as Christ wanders the land he is not immediately recognizable by the people. He must be pointed out to the Temple guards despite teaching at the Temple many times, even the spectacle of overturning the tables? It is in our base nature as human beings to desire we physically look like God. Yet it is only our spirit which can find God’s side.
In our church the art work of Christmas is by Christians around the world. All Chinese nativity. All African nativity. As Christians are moved by the Spirit around the world there is no limit. Even Sami Lutherans -with reindeer. If cultural context helps us better understand the Spirit then it is wonderful.
Natural-gas futures rose 7.2 cents, or 1.7%, to $4.409 per million British thermal units Thursday, the highest price since July 2011. Natural gas is the best performer this year among the 22 commodities in the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index.
Investors say gas could keep climbing for as long as the cold spell lasts—potentially through December, according to some forecasters. Supplies are down from a year ago, while demand is rising as power plants switch from coal to gas.
Now these caverns and storage facilities are being drained. Supplies are down 7.2% from a year ago, according to the EIA.
Problem being the futures market is now slightly in backwardization. What I do believe this demonstrates however is how much a real economic recovery could raise natural gas prices.
American homes do use less energy. But again Progressives have made sure what should be a gain in our living standards is more than consumed for their base load solar and wind delusions of irrational primitive religion. So generation demand must come from economic activity.
Given the next to non-existent spark spreads in the commercial markets, business remains focused on efficiency not expansion.

Some nice easy to understand write ups on the site.
The propane price increase is very nice for LINE. It is sad that ethane did not move with natural gas.
1,050,000 Btu's of heat per MCF of Natural Gas.
Ethane has 65,869 Btu per gallon.
16 gallons of ethane = mcf of nature gas btu.
So ethane in $0.09 more expensive than natural gas.
What a waste.
Our ethane prices offers 100% more operating margin on ethylene compared to manufactures around the world using naphtha input.
But again like our forecast light oil production, our companies are simply not investing to take advantage of a tidal wave of ethane which is coming. So those companies around the world with naphtha inputs can hand in.
Is it really to much to expect the President of the United States to get involved and encourage capital investment? We need crony capitalist $12 billion for wind credits rather than understanding why this economic home run is not happening?
Base Opie -
Opie John is just getting to be really amusing! Please do not take the ball home yet.
Sand and I are waiting with baited breath on how Opie John explains the ETF nonsense. ;)
You should go take your nap. Just the same old stuff over and over again.
Let Opie John have the brain for a while.
Spot on of course.
The ETF comment was silly delusion about market mechanics.
It was completely delusional for the MLP space which is still largely individuals.
Triple silly on the LINE board which is 16.37% by institutions before we even get to ETF
Exchange Traded Concepts Tr-Yorkville High Income MLP ETF 289,034 0.12 6,968,609 Aug 31, 2013. 0.12% out.
But Opie John is talking stocks. Maybe stag the corn monster in a different wrapper?
Clearly it is not here to learn or to take the time of offer an informed opinion.
Base Opie. You a daily Stern fan like Opie John?
You need to go take a nap.
Then maybe you will remember you are not talking to me? Just like Ron^3 does read my posts. Except when it does not.
Must be confusing in the hive brain.
Ah the market is completely irrational. Very progressive.
Institutional money decides general stock and therefore market valuations.
ETF is just a tool. One that is of far more valuable to small investors than large institutions.
Opie John you are really making a fool of yourself in public. You really should realize it and stop.
Have you noticed base Opie is not bagging on my stock picks? There is a very good reason for it.
Something to ponder before you once again boast of being the rich, powerful and good looking super investor.
Actually Opie John -
I hope what you say is true and that you have a nice family as well.
Because in your mental state this market will take you money away. It is a function of behavior finance so you have to make the choice to change or simply be eliminated by market mechanics.
The extent to which U.S. distillate exports will continue to grow depends on several factors, perhaps the most important of which is the pace of global refinery capacity expansions. About two-thirds of U.S. distillate exports during the first nine months of 2013 were to Central and South America and Mexico. That share is similar to the same period in 2007, as these regions have been short of distillate fuel. If refinery capacity expands as planned over the next several years, either in Latin America or in other regions such as the Middle East, U.S. refiners could face increasing competition in distillate export markets.
However, in the short term, the competitive advantages of Gulf Coast refiners should continue to support their current strong position within the global market.
Thank you! You and Ron^3 deserve each other's wisdom! ;)
I know all about investments!
Yes I agree because I too am expert enough to tell!
Hey I got this hot stock combined with my personal magic it is a sure thing.
Opie John -
Absolute ignorance is your thing! As Sand just pointed out!
How do you expect to contribute on an investment board if you are both ignorant and irrational?
The science of investments is that there is always more information in a market than single individuals can process. This leads to the the proof of random walk price movements.
The fact that you make a definitive statement proves your ignorance and your refusal to learn your delusional hubris.
Sand is of course correct LINE is well hedged on oil. What is holding LINE valuations down with the oils in general is the significant backwardization in the oil futures market.
There is more American produced oil coming than we have the capacity to refine or use value add manufacturing. Companies are not willing to take the Obama/Progressive risk on large capital asset investments. So we are not generating American demand for additional domestic production nor can it be exported whole. This is holding back all oil companies and our entire economy.
Rising economic tide lifts all stocks. Something simple you do not understand or wish to understand either.
You are amusing today! No politics just really basic ignorance on display for all to see. ;)
Eliminate wholly defective corn ethanol corruption.
Go to one single American gasoline standard. Production efficiency, free market competition and at least a 10% increase in mpg will reduce pollution and lower retail costs.
Not allowing Progressive to starve human beings for their political corruption of food based energy would be a good way to recognized Christmas.
Condensate and light oil in surplus? The cleanest inputs to refining? The answer is build spliters so we can export?
So Progressive can keep their unscientific boutique localized gas blends and wholly defective corn ethanol political corruption?
Enough already. Yes, Obama is not Jon Stewart. As President he is responsible for all this complete insanity.
Problem with the Obama EIA figures? The high cost coal contains assumptions on economically impossible pollution control mandates. Many of which like the sulfur are simple insanity to increase the cost of energy.
Coal is cheaper than nature gas in the real world. Whether it is smoke choked Asia or the Europeans destroying the rationality of their energy grid with 'alternatives'.
At some point American natural gas will rise to the world price expressed in oil btus less a sizable discount for very high transportation costs. Coal in modern American plants is clean for all rational purposes. Abusing the EPA law to kill it will make real whole world pollution extremely worse.
What will happen if Obama and the Progressives are not blocked in their delusive religion can be seen today. Look at Europe. Economic crisis and producing more co2 than before all this GW insanity is a reason to do more of it. Because it is not working.
Yes despite awareness of the major political oil companies, they did not invest. Instead poured significant but token money into 'renewables' in exchange for offshore leases. Where they would have no entrepreneurial competition. Now we have all seen why the Progressives were desperate to block our entrepreneurs like Mr. Hamm.
rlp was driven to post clearly childish propaganda from the dishonest Progressive environmentalists as equal to Mr. Hamm's opinion. The American who made billions in oil and was making it happen in the Bakken.
nyZt printed a whole volume of nonsense about fracturing pollution and depletion rates. All proven true by time. Yet no admission from a supposed dependable information source.
All opinions are not valid or rational. All news sources are not equivalent. Nor will the irrationality of Jon Stewart's Progressive religion of Me make it so.
The handout would cost $18 billion over the next five years.
The Department of Energy says that wind power made up 43% of all newly constructed generation in 2012, surpassing even natural gas.
The media are saying that the 113th Congress is on track to be "the least productive" on record—as if that's bad for the country. Let's hope gridlock lasts long enough to kill the crony capitalist special known as the wind production tax credit. This subsidy that was supposed to be temporary is now 20 years old...House Republicans can accomplish something for taxpayers by doing nothing. - WSJ
But this $18 billion give away of our tax money does not cover the full cost of wind. It is not only variable requiring massive redundancy in capacity but produces at the least valuable times. Not only daily but on the calendar year.
Here is $18 billion we can cut from the Obama deficits while lower costs to consumers. Improving our economy.
It is not complex. It is not hard to understand. Yes a Progressive like Opie John does not understand because it would conflict with primitive Progressive religion of self irrationality.
Republicans in the House should let this wind corruption go to the dust heap. All mature and rational Americans should noticed and reward them. Especially on an American natural gas board.
Really is sickening how easily Obama buys off Grassley.
Obama is the leader of the Progressive circus, Willie of the Corn.
Sadly he is our President too. So yea he really is responsible.
Europe has managed to destabilize their electrical grid, causes electricity costs to be triple American/Asia
AND increase co2 emissions.
This Collectivist religion is weird.
Grassley is the worst type of Progressive.
The bottom feeder under the Republicans label so easily corrupted by Progressive pay offs.
The problem is as the Progressive secular pagan religion as politics is not rational or honest, there is no logical stop point to this ignorance. A pimp like Grassley does care about anything but himself.
Some wind power in logical places is a good thing. Pushing this give away to the point where the grid is destabilized and rational efficient free market investment in modern natural gas plants are not made is triple damaging.
The world and America has changed. We have more clean natural gas than our economy can absorb.
There are good Americans doing public service like
Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo!
Thank you Americans in Kansas.
Also if you believe in this Global Warming stuff the only thing which will serve your cause is technically possible clean coal. We all see what making coal artificially cheap did in Asia and yes those insane loser pagans in Europe as well.
The two political parties are not the same. America needs more Pompeos and Manchin.
One admirable exception to the Wind Belt political rule is Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo, who keeps reminding fellow Republicans that they claim to oppose corporate welfare. Last month he collected 52 House signatures on a letter to Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp, noting that the tax credit undermines GOP efforts to reform the tax code and should be allowed to expire.
