Yes, I lol too. It's nice to see you've become a civil libertarian in your old age, Ritchie.
Sporting an ACLU card now?
Thank you, President Obama!
Aren't they all hitting new highs nowadays?

GOPsters: Its OK to leak classified CIA information so long as it only endangers the wife of a guy who told the truth about Bush's WMD lies.
Republican politicians are the world's biggest hypocrites. When the IRS targets the NAACP or the All Saints Church for unfair treatment they call it "legitimate profiling" or remain silent. When a Republican IRS commissioner investigates teabag groups skirting the law, they start screaming about how "criminal" or "Nixonian" the IRS is, and blame the President. Liars and hypocrites - all of them!
I like your username. But I can understand why some Repukes might think it's not deceptive enough.

When the Republican IRS chief targets teabag groups for skirting the law, Republican politicians blame Obama and call it "criminal" and/or "Nixonian" (the unkindest cut of all).
If that's the best imitation of 2 scandals you got, you may ready yourself for at least 8 more years of Democratic presidents.
The teatards have unsuccessfully tried 39 times to kill the Affordable Care Act.
40th vote is scheduled for next week.
Talk about the definition of insanity...
Sentiment: Hold
Meanwhile the Rethugs in Congress are planning their 40th vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act next week. These are the same maroons who haven't done a thing to reduce the unemployment rate, and now want to prevent the Census Bureau from even calculating the unemployment rate!
Rethug leaders have had a rough stretch this week, spending 2 days in the House to debate a bipartisan bill on helium that passed by a 394-1 vote, just before the members left for another vacation. The single "nay" vote came from a Rep who accidentally pressed the wrong button.
The Rethugs could have taken care of helium in an hour if they hadn't been afraid to discuss anything else. R leaders set aside several days to debate a plan to improve Obamacare - before Rethug rank and file rejected the idea on grounds it might improve the Affordable Care Act.
Incompetence, depravity, obstructionism - Rethugs can choose which adjective best describes their actions in Congress over the past week.

Rethug Senators McCain and Graham have been exceptionally incoherent lately, bringing back memories of wingbat John Bolton failed Bush administration policies in the Middle East. The R senators advocate using U.S. air power to aid AlQaida fighters in Syria, ignoring the fact that Syria's air defenses are capable of bringing down some U.S. pilots to their death or captivity.
House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) has repeatedly said he would demand “cuts and reforms” sufficient to put the nation on a path to a balanced budget.
But the GOP vision for tax reform is “revenue neutral,” meaning all the cash raised from wiping out tax breaks would be returned to taxpayers in the form of lower rates, with no money left over to reduce annual budget deficits.
Will the House Rethugs please debate with themselves in private before advocating "reforms" or "cuts" benefiting mostly the richest 1%? The 99%ers are unable to decipher their silly, inscrutable nonsense.
Extremist Republicans in Washington, DC are holding our economy hostage in the hope of enacting a draconian right-wing agenda.
Our nation is set to reach its authorized debt limit on May 19th, 2013. Unless Congress takes action, the US will default on our obligations - which will trigger a downgrading of our credit and throw the US economy back into recession. Sadly, tea party Republicans are more than content to let that happen unless they can extract deep cuts to Medicare and Social Security. Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell even said he'd drag President Obama "kicking and screaming" in order to get his way.
The GOP is totally insensitive to the chronic high unemployment problem resulting from years of economic neglect during the Bush years. They play the blame game to perfection - even daring to blame President Obama for airline slowdowns last week, when the problem would not have existed if the Republicans had acted responsibly earlier.
