Wildcats: You left out multiple other personalities but those few are a good start....Don't worry about Funfun's so called attorneys. He probably wants to remain anonymous with them too so they would have no idea how to proceed. Happy Turkey Day!

Make that 17.06 less market cap than of end of trading today.

  • They seem to be falling behind more every couple weeks....Little ziggy knows how to pick "superior" companies!!! Way to go.

Wildcats1ky: Funfundvierzig can't answer simple questions. As evidenced by his own admission of being a long term student of DD, but never able to graduate and move on. He doesn't understand the school of hard knocks that is more valuable than any degree he tries to wave around all the time. My dear old dad would be 105 years old this year had he lived that long, and was a 6th grade drop out. (To help support his brothers and sisters.) He would be able to run circles around Herr Zig no matter the topic had he lived. A moldy degree earned in the 1960's gives Funfun the right to look down his nose at independent investors here....Too bad his degree in art appreciation (and the minor is orthinology) wasn't enough to hold his job at DD during the last century. He hasn't been the same since!

  • Folks: I posted the same prediction on NOVEMBER 17---about a week before him, but of course I didn't throw in all the excess garbage about it as funfundvierzig always has to. I feel flattered that he copied my prediction. He feels compelled to trash and bash DD and its hardworking people 100% of the time. Of course, he won't mention that MON is laying off at least 10% of their hardworking employees, and this other rival companies are/ or have done the same recently... Don't agree with him? Well, you are a heckler, abusive, hate-filled, bonus paid, etc. But when he does those things, he is an independent investor. Yeah, right. He goes to legal counsel? He reports anonymous posts to local police? What an idiot!!! Like they have time for that sort of thing. Did they comb through his thousands of posts mocking the disabled, women, minorities, sex orientation, hinting of all sorts of crime by DD's management, etc? Did they look at all his aliases doing the same thing? Bet they had a good laugh at his expense over that!!! Carry on, Herr Zig. Someone's got to be the board clown. It may as well be you.

Ha, ha. You will be the first to know. Yeah, right! Our site is short non exempt folks right now (about 12% short), but there is a temporary hiring freeze until the end of the 1st quarter for external candidates. If we have to trim a few people, there are enough wanting to take the severance deal and go into retirement that people may not have to leave involuntarily. Now, if we get bought out, and the new company wants to take just the products and go, that's a different story. But I would still get the years pay as part of the severance while collecting unemployment and getting $5,000 towards college tuitition if I wanted it, and at the end of that time I would get social security and my pension. So I'll let you know about that for sure. Have a good day....

I've heard human resources will be hit hard too....Rumor has it that they have been told their numbers will go down by a large amount too. I've heard a rumor that it will be up to 20%---which would be about 1 of 5 or 6 employees. It will be interesting. I heard it will be soon, large, and across all functions. I may stick around to see if Pioneer, Crop Protection and Nutrition get split up, acquired, or joint venture, or even sold out. After about four decades, I'm almost there about wanting to retire and start working on my investment hobby full time, but I would hate to leave dollars on the table if my site gets sold and I would have the chance to collect a pension from DD and earn a paycheck towards more social security and new 401k for another company. I guess we will see. I feel sorry for the younger workers who have never been through the selection process and don't think it will be them and even the older workers who don't think it could be them either. I've been through downsizing four or five times and it never gets easier for the ones going or the ones staying, as they have to wear additional hats for a while. Those who wanted Ellen out who worked for the company may regret it....

  • Anyone else got any guesses? I think it will be across all the businesses, but I've been seeing a lot of high level management retiring in the last few months- a lot of them with less years of service and age than myself, so something big is up. They probably got a lot sweeter severance deal than the non-exempts will get, but there are a lot of older pension eligible non exempts that would take a deal if it is offered....Disclosure to funfundviezig: You aren't the only one who can speculate!

Its called free speech. And its not just for you and all the aliases you have created over the years. One would think that with your talent and education and all that ideating you do here that you would know all about free speech. I've heard you protest about avowed DD employees trying to take away all that ideating you do. (I know, I probably misspelled that word. Oh well.)

It took me about 2 minutes to find out that DOW's leader has THREE titles too: President, Chairman and CEO. And SYT's leader has TWO titles: CEO and CFO. You silly goose, Herr Zig. Looks like you are just flying by the seat of your pants these days, throwing out things off the top of your head. Carry on!

  • notthatblind notthatblind Nov 15, 2015 8:56 AM Flag

If CC's CEO is "pretentious" for having two titles, what about your "superior" MON's CEO, who lists Chairman, President, and CEO under his current work history on MON's website? Do a little research before you embarrass yourself on a daily basis here. You seem to be the Queen of Speculation on this and other boards with your cut and paste identical posts. Carry on, so we can get our daily funnies.

  • notthatblind notthatblind Nov 14, 2015 11:08 AM Flag

YOU are the only one stating DD/CC will win EVERY Teflon case, no settlements, and all court costs to be paid by the plaintiffs. NONE of the rest of us are even going to speculate about it. Too many unknowns. Show one post where anyone says NOTHING will be paid by DD/CC. What a LIAR!!! We'll leave it up to you to be the arrogantly stupid and arrogant one with your wild estimates. Have a good day chicken little and associates...

Folks who use the word irascible on this board: Funfundvierzig, funfun_too, and fan_of_funfun. Nice try, funfundvierzig. Stay perplexed.

  • notthatblind notthatblind Nov 14, 2015 9:24 AM Flag

What is really amusing is how little it takes to perplex you when you claim to be a long time student of DD. It was easy to find the Q & A about Teflon issues, which wasn't the only Q & A listed. It covered CC's other litigation as well. You don't mention that DD?/CC is appealing that first decision, or that the next of the six test cases has been put off until sometime next year (on behalf of the "victims" not DD.) If you don't believe DD will win ANY of those 3500 lawsuits, you are truly delusional. Your total loss estimates also appears to be overly optimistic too. Perplex away, funfundvierzig. But do a little more studying.

Fake pals of funfundvierzig who use the word whilst: Anti_ds_guy, funfun_too, and fan_of_funfun. Now that is weird.

Zig,zig. Its hard to believe that a long time student of DD would put out such a wild estimate concerning the lawsuits. They just finished ONE test case of several, the next suit has been put off until spring of 2016, and even a village idiot could figure out that not ALL of those lawsuits are going to find against DD. The few people that are prominent in the first few suits that win get the large dollars, their lawyers get the next biggest amount, and the rest get next to nothing. Do you really think Chemours/DD is going to look at one lawsuit (and even let that one be the final decision) and then give in? You haven't been such a good student of DD, as you claim to be. Carry on chicken little. Meanwhile the gap in market cap just got larger yesterday by another quarter BILLION dollars between MON and DD. I guess you don't have a problem with your "superior" MON falling further and further from DD's market cap. The amusing part is DD is ahead of MON in market cap by over 17.5 BILLION dollars (when MON and DD had about equal market cap a few month ago. Ahead by over 17.5 BILLION dollars even after DD spun off Chemours and lost per share value, the chaos with the corporate raider Peltz, negative news with the Teflon suits, changing out CEO's, another lower quarterly report, etc.

  • notthatblind notthatblind Nov 10, 2015 9:40 PM Flag

    Scooby doo?

  • Folks, MON now has 17.3 BILLION less in market cap than DD at the closing bell today. Just a few short months ago MON was even with DD in market cap. Now today, MON is announcing even more restructure costs, they were going to get rid of 2600 people and have 300 million in costs, now they are stating 500 million....Poor little zig has to drag out a few vintage fake pals in addition to his current stable of aliases to keep up the perception that DD is failing, when in fact its the corporation he claims to be "superior" (MON) that has the saggy pants. Keep up the good work zig and imaginary crew. Its like reading the Sunday funnies every day!

Yep, from one old bag to you, the witless old goat. Thanks for thinking I've been propelled up the ladder, even though I have stated repeatedly I am a non exempt, and never have wanted to be exempt. I'm happy to put my foot out to trip you up with your totally negative posts...from the tired out old topics from years ago to your outrageous lies. Think of my replies to your lies as more a community service instead of that high level PR job you claim I have. Ta, ta, (defencive indeed...another old world spelling.) I guess when you get your age its hard to think of something new to say. Carry on.
