Can't read them, he's on 'ignore'. Here's a game to play though - make up posts about stocks you bought & watch him stalk you.
I think the last Celica rolled off the line in '05. I know they went through various body style changes. I think mine is referred to as a Type 6.
I will take your warning to heart & refrain from searching.
I've put all the bozo's on ignore so I have a nice clean message board.
I think they may be old vermin. I haven't had any bizarre posts show up for a while now.
I drive an '03 Celica with 177K mi - I bought it about 5 years ago. The best part is it's a 5-speed.
I had mused many months ago that someone should do a study - and they did! I'd put the link in but Yahoo frowns on that. Here's enough info to find it:
"Internet Trolls Are Narcissists, Psychopaths, and Sadists" - A new study shows that internet trolls really are just terrible human beings, published on September 18, 2014 by Jennifer Golbeck, Ph.D. in "Your Online Secrets"
Insider ownership is always a good thing but if my back-of-the-envelope calculations are correct insiders own over 21% of the company. Seems a little high to me.
We'll have a new president but it could be the Hildabeast! She's a friend to WS so that shouldn't be too bad, though if Fauxcahontas runs then head for the hills.
Neither one excites me, though there is really nothing too exciting about REITs. In general, if you don't like the management I'd stay away - one needs to have confidence in the folks taking care of one's money. GOV looks ok - lets face it, no matter who gets elected all government does is expand. SIR is too new for me plus they're going to have to absorb Cole - no easy feat. I'd pass on both but if I had to make a choice I'd say GOV.
...and if you had him on ignore like the rest of us you'd never know it, would you? You should follow your own advice. It's much quieter here that way.
A new ID to put on 'ignore' - donkergen. Seems like yahoo obliterated ANOTHER of his nom-de-plumes.
The part I find fascinating is the vitriol expounded by people in the "MLP/IRA" debate. Current talks between Russia and the Ukraine are probably calmer.
Due to the sheer size of the Kinder Morgan deal, the IRS is going to have to make some definitive rulings. Only then will all the grey areas be defined.
O is never going to cut the dividend for the forseeable future. If capital appreciation is a minimal factor and you can live with the middling dividend you should be fine. I would keep PSEC on my radar and see what happens to the dividend at the start of 2015. If they stabilize they pay a hefty dividend and they trade at close to NAV at the moment. If you don't mind MLP's take a look at VNR.
David must be busy writing for Seeking Alpha. He wrote an article about how MLPs aren't so bad in IRAs for the small investor & based on the comments generated you'd have thought he'd run over somebody's puppy.
'Ignore' is a decent feature, I just hope there's no limit to the number of id's you can ignore.
The weirdest one were the various id's that kept posting "so-and-so is smoking something that makes them think they own stocks when they don't" - dozens of times. I could never figure out what the purpose of that was. The amount of time it would take to generate a new id & then post that nonsense always seemed to be a lot of effort for minimal impact. It only takes a second to hit 'Ignore' & POOF! All gone.
