Better rely on a Republican congress to change things because it is pretty clear there won't be a GOP president for a very long time.
Not quite true. Republicans believe that everyones money could be theirs if they are clever enough to get at it. Support a few congressmen here, a couple of senators there and hire some big name lobbyists and the next thing you know everything is going your way.
All you need to see is Huckabee with 13 and cruz with 11 to know this party is so screwed up they have no chance of winning. I could have included Walker but he will certainly say (or not say) something a stupid as Perry did in 2012.
I know what you mean. Mississippi, Alabama Georgia Arkansas are all in need of an influx of dentists.
Be careful of what you wish for. should hawks like McCain and graham bring enough pressure to force additional US support in Iraq/Syria, I guarantee you there will be videos of American soldiers being beheaded.. Should that happen, who do you want to blame for failing to act fast enough to prevent it?
Rubio would get a bunch of independents like me to go back to the GOP we knew. If he can some how dance around all of the social issues that evangelicals will bring to the forefront in early primaries, he is going to be one of three real contenders. Should he get the nomination and be forced to accept a Palin like as number two, all is lost.
Trying to decide whether to watch Beck or the Blackhawks tomorrow. I think I'll watch Beck because the Blackhawks are so serious. Going into a long weekend, one should start with the idea of relaxing and laughing and maybe a couple of beers.
There is no crossover appeal candidate that can get the nomination. Bush, Christie, Rubio and Jindal and even Paul have so much common sense even they will not be able to dance around the social issue questions that will keep the GOP out of the WH for a long, long time. That includes climate change, the gay community, planned parenthood, women's rights and a path to citizenship for illegals.
Funny thing is I don't even like Hillary. I'll probably vote for her because my option will be to vote for some evangelical screwball or some military hawk like Graham. There are several other GOP candidates that I would vote for in a heart beat but none will get the nomination. Would like to see Rand Paul in the final mix of things.
Who cares? Cruz is such a nut job the best he can do is not to make it too miserable for legitimate GOP candidates to have an outside chance of winning. The Republican party is in a shambles.
True! Equally true is the fact that the Republican party wants to send an even larger minority back to Mexico.
As an NRA supporter, I am sure he has a couple of well maintained guns. Why doesn't he use one of them and then just plead guilty to a charge of cruelty to animals.
No blame needed. The Republican congress has failed miserably to pass anything on their agenda. Fact is that it is unlikely that the GOP will nominate anyone that could win the presidency in 2016. So status quo for the foreseeable future.
