I don't know about Line but It would seem that some material percent of old BRY shareholders are going to sell their LINCO. My guess is that linco will sell at a discount to line until the old bry shareholders are happy with their new shares in LNCO. I seldom put any value on what cramer says but in this case, I would buy LINCO instead of LINE. Dont' think you can go wrong with either but LINCO may have more upside.
It's clear that CLMT management is interested in trying to build a company that isn't subject to the wild swings of the difference between witi and Brent crude. their position in speciality lubricants is going to offer some shelter and a much more stable free cash flow than you can find with what analysts would call their competitors.
4th quarter is going to be ugly. The real question is what does pxd really have in the way of oil reserves. That's important because most oil and gas analysts predict increasing oil supplies for at least a couple of years before it flat lines then starts to decline. What technology can do to delay that decline is a mystery. Investors that live on quarter to quarter results are going to go crazy over the instability of witi prices. Anyone that can just accept the fact that the next couple of years, excluding some dramatic event in OPEC countries is going to value PXD based on current prices. Traders may make a pile in the short term. Patient investors are going to do real well in the longer term.
We all know that Republican platform includes the positions that global warming is a myth and intelligent design is a fact.. Republicans propose that 12,000,000 illegals will just go home if there is no path to citizenship . Women's rights end at choice of hair color. Gays and lesbians can't have equal rights under the law because they are not equal. We all know that a party that has such a screwed up platform will never win a national election despite having a plan for the economy that stinks but is at least as good as what the democratic party supports.
seems to me the market has priced in a much bigger drop in the book values of both nly and agnc than they experienced last quarter. both of them stated in their respective ccs that they weren't prepared for the dramatic increase in rates. I believe both ramped up steps to avoid another disaster like last quarter. Hope I am right.
Who cares? the Republican platform relies primarily on a bunch of evangelical nut jobs to win any primary of importance. As a result, the really qualified candidates that could beat Hillary or any other Democratic candidate will never get on a national ticket.
disappointed by his performance/leadership is an understatement. I'd still vote for him again because the alternative was to vote for a party the insists global warming is a myth but intelligent design is a fact. Gays/lesbians are second class citizens. Illegals will go home as long as we don't offer a path to citizenship. women have the right to choose their hair color but not much after that.. Trickle down economics isn't really an economic form of voodoo. A party that can actually thinks that in a pinch Palin could be commander in chief is so screwed up I prefer the Kenyan born, Islamic sympathizer , socialist to the alternative.
Nope. Majority rules and if Republicans win control of the senate they will be happy to know that it no longer takes 60 votes to pass something in the senate.
Great question. First they have to weed out the five or six candidates that could beat Hillary or anyone else on the Democratic ticket. Then they have to make sure that number two on the ticket is at least as dumb as Palin or as crazy as Bachman. History would tell us that is probably a done deal. Does it matter?
Yes he did. Americans were in shock when Pearl Harbor was struck. Americans watched in horror as the world trade center buildings collapsed. But 50 years ago all Americans cried when they heard of the death of their president. Obviously some didn't. They are insignificant.
Gosh, maybe more of them should vote.
Nothing can be done about Obama now. He is there till 2016. There is more than a glimmer of hope for the GOP presidential candidate. Several great candidates that could beat Hillary or any Dem opponent. Tell you now what's going to happen. The evangelical right with some big time help from the tea party is going to keep a right of center candidate off the ticket. Party purity will win the nomination process and Dems will win the national election. How sad is that?
