Also it looks like HIG is selling some. Then why the buys ? If the shares outstanding number is correct, 14.983m
this position is more than 50% ownership. Would they go below control?
In addition, this prospectus relates to 7,858,914 shares of our common stock that may be sold by the selling stockholders identified under “Selling Stockholders.” We will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares of our common stock by the selling stockholders.
There is something going on here, New SEC Filing and many small insider indirect buys for HIG by 10% owners who may sell these shares according to NEW POS 8c that was filed yesterday. Haven't started the fine read of documents. I started a discussion over at the CPTA board.
Excuse my posting, I wonder if the good people here can expand on what is happening at WHF with the insider buys and SEC filings. TIA
There has been insider (indirect) buying by a TAMER and MNAYMNEH (each10% Beneficial) with identical buys roughly 73k shares each so far in August. The only thing I can think of is that they are protecting the HIG ownership percentage if and when WHF does a SPO w/POS 8C paperwork filed on 8/14. Anyone else have any thoughts?
This just came up, literally .........Does this mean a SPO is around the corner?
Also, today it announce a from EFFECT Effectiveness Date: August 27, 2015
Accession Number: 0001144204-15-051800
Submission Type: POS 8C
I'll agree to this as well. Someone at the Fed spoke today about the possibility of raising rate next month. Utilities down, BDCs mixed, banks mixed and floating rate ACSF up. Pick and choose the yield poison I guess.
I tried to snag some BP yesterday under $31, Did not fill. I am on the fence to buy more CNP. An article referenced CNP third party vendors not paying their bills on time and ENBL. CNP was under $18 yesterday when I read that article !! And it moved higher after I finished it so I got distracted.
Yes I have SO too. I like the deal.
I did buy some RD and GSK to average down. For some reason, I have been buying UK ADRs. Bought some SNN too. A CNBC talking "oil" head based in London ranked XOM a buy, CVX a somewhat buy and COP a hold. CVX had the greatest potential for growth according to him.
NGG is another ADR with a nice yield, I have been watching. And PPL.
That does hurt the Pack, hopefully Adams can stepup. However, when a team as a great passer QB like Rodgers, all you have to do is run the the routes. He'll get the ball to you somehow !!
Thanks for the dialogue and the sanity check in this crazy week. Hopefully Yellen not the Chineese will sneeze this week. Don't want to catch a cold !
I would see RD or XOM buy BP. CVX would buy OXY or COP.
In 2009, XOM bought XTO for $31B, I believe their last big purchase. The question do they want to add to XTO?
$10 Tuesdays is a bargain compared to other local outfits and chains. As pointed out, you got to cook it and in the summer, the oven being turned on is not the best idea. Papa's meets a niche in the pizza market.
Gotta do what makes sense. My cost average is bit lower than yours, $15.40. I'm going to hang onto TE and see what happens. Utilities are staying somewhat strong. I guess the market likes DUK and AWK each has been green in the sea of red.
I did average down on CNP @ $19.25. I'll just collect the dividend. Some big oils look VERY tempting XOM RD CVX and COP.
I had XLS which got bought out by HRS. If you are light on defense Harris might be a good one.
In reading some of the NYT articles concerning the broken jaw, Thats one way to settle a QB situation !! However, Smith did not show up to guys hometown football clinic after saying he would. Nor did he pay him back for hotel, limo and plane tickets. Plus the locker room was playing on IK. I would be #$%$ too.
WHF announced next dividend today. TICC BOD has a decision to make on who will be managing the assets as a new player made a proposal early this morning with lower fees. More on this on the TICC MB.
Great post. Plus I read they were to buy 10m shares in the open market. To align their interests w/shareholders. A semi-buyback which TICC announced but never acted upon.
Will these rights to purchase show up in shareholder accounts? Then exercisable if one wanted to?
Also saw a 2K director buy.

Subscription rights may be exercised at any time up to the close of business on the expiration date for such subscription rights set forth in the prospectus supplement.
