"That said, how in the world can the price be what it is when the same players essentially own the same percentages of the float (plus or minus a few percent)."
As always...supply and demand
When the CEO buys but is not a regular buyer I take notice.
When Karen Singer buys lots of shares for her fund, I take notice.
A quick review of the financials and earnings coupled with the noted insider purchasing makes this a no-brainer.
Technology sector will go higher tomorrow.
Actually Tailwind, it's you who is flooding the board with the other couple folks making a big deal out of this non-issue.
Look at it like this - even with your supposed "huge" amount of dilution, company is still showing the year over year tremendous growth in EPS. Think of that.
Somebody is accumulating big time.
Hey fruit loop - where have you gone?
My pet name for you from now on is "Tailwind".
Who are you to say so? You are not management, you own no shares, you are nothing.
So I wonder why it was just upgraded this morning?
Till now, clearly GS has been completely wrong since their downgrade and new price target.
Considering how the stock has performed turning in cruddy numbers past 2 quarters, why should we believe that the fact that the picture isn't pretty have anything to do with where the stock trades?
Look at all the other #$%$ names in the space - likewise turning in poor performances, yet their stock prices trek higher. PSUN, WTSL, BEBE - why are they all up?
Amazing!
Not handing out shares as presents. They were options, part of compensation - no different than options given out at other companies. Options may end out being worth some money, or they could be worthless. It depends on success of the company.
Hey - were you aware that google and Facebook give out millions of options a year to employees? Maybe you should go over there and post your concerns.
Did you oversleep the day the wizard was handing out brains?
New 52 week high fool - why don't you look at that.
Howard Halpern from Taglich should come out with his updated research report any day now.
I will guess that he raises his target price from the current $11.60 to something in the $13.50 to $15 range. Hopefully I'll be wrong and his target price will be even higher.
CY EPS Jun 13 est 0.96 vs. 0.39 last year
CY Sales Jun 13 est $49.21M vs $39.78M - growth = 23.7%
Sales Jun 14 est $57.41M vs. $49.21M - growth = 16.7%
current quarter Jun 13 EPS = .35 - this is almost as much as the .39 earned for all of FY 2012.
These are huge year over year increases.
Eventually people will get the idea.
It's exactly was JC explained - getting back to Jones's roots - a fun/innovative brand.
It is brilliant - in essence a marketing/advertising placement that customers are paying for. All those Canucks are going to try it just for the audacity of it - then they'll know Jones and try a more traditional/pleasing flavor and get hooked.
"This management team is the greediest"
Which is exactly what alahendrix posts non-stop depending on the day of the week and if the planets are in alignment.
That's my cue.
I wasn't going wait and try to get it a few cents cheaper. Not with the generally thin trading/float.
Will sit back and be patient now.
EVOL pays over 5% dividend.
Let us know when you've figured out what Tailwinds is.
"which has to come under the watchful and attentive eyes of careful followers of events "
As are the posts of people who knowingly spread lies on public message boards.
Agreed.
Thanks.
