But it doesn't matter what you are I think about a product improvement. It matters whether customers will buy it. Once again last quarter they obviously didn't.
The answer to the question is in the sales, or lack thereof. I'm not sure if this is a difficult concept to comprehend, or if you and your comrade are being intentionally obtuse.
There was no misunderstanding. It's very simple, the market always and without fail answers the question. The company reported negligible sales of NH 2 and negligible sales of NH 3. Therefore the drawbacks of NH 2 which led to negligible sales, were obviously not adequately addressed by NH 3, because they are still reporting negligible sales.
This is the same type of meaningless minutia softball question you ask every quarter and will probably be asking again tomorrow. And every quarter you get the same answers...the products are great and everybody loves them...and the sales are coming next week or next month. Meanwhile the red ink is piling up, the debt is piling up, and the best case scenario is 33% dilution of the common stock.
The company failed to sell any NH2s before discontinuing the line. The company has so far failed to sell any NH3s with the improvements. So your question is really of the "if a tree falls in the forest..." variety. The problem with Xenonics is that they are selling the same NH1 flashlights to the same one customer (only fewer of them) that they were selling 10 years ago. All of their research and development in the last 10 yeas has resulted in a shrinking top line, and mounting losses to the bottom line.
You have very rarely attempted to have an "objective discussion" with myself or any other poster about the company, so how would you know if I was incapable of doing so? Any comment that I have made for years has been responded to by you only with questions about my motivation for posting. If one was to psycho-analyze you (and I would never do that on a stock message board), one might conclude that you are utilizing the psychological defense mechanism known as "rationalization" to explain why my comments, all reasonable and on topic, should nonetheless be disregarded.
Still holding out hope that you will ask Magerman the real questions on the cc.
So instead of engaging in a discussion about the stock (this is a stock message board after all, is it not?), you instead decide to engage in the psycho-analysis of a poster? Why? Again, do my motivations for posting make my views on the company any less valid?
You keep going back to this, but I'm not sure why my motivation for posting is relevant to the substance of my long stated concerns about the company. Either I'm right or I'm wrong. So far I've been right and you've been wrong.
I would consider myself anonymous, but most certainly not a troll. I find it mind boggling that you continue to hold the bag after years of failed promises from management going back to the launch of supervision. Why not ask the real questions Krug?
Stock option repricing? Joseph and Gionis? Magerman's salary? Failure to attract customers with product innovation? Having his son on the payroll? $105,000 in annual revenue from supervision 5 years after its launch, when initial PRs talked about 7 figures per month in sales? Why did he talk about how bad the previous 9 months had been when the reality is that the company has been borrowing money to continue operating at 13% since 2009?, not to mention 8.5 million in warrants and options, which, if exercised, would dilute current shareholders by 1/3.
These are the real issues. Not, "how about that supervision tweak for police departments?" The titanic is sinking and you're asking about the acoustics in the dining room.
Just one troll's humble opinion. :)
The conference call is open to anyone? I thought it was a quarterly chat between you and Magerman.
Still waiting for Joseph and Gionis to come through with those signed deals in the Middle East. Must be still pending.
I'm hoping you ask him about his and Kennedy's (whoever that is) salaries on the next cc. What do they do to deserve nearly 500k a year between them? All the selling is done by Aardvark. Besides having a personal conversation with you 4x a year about pending orders that never materialize, what does Magerman actually do the other 361 days of the year?
Are you guys even serious at this point? You couldn't possibly be believing this #$%$. Its been over 5 years of the same stories about pending, almost, about to happen contracts. You're like Charlie Brown and Magerman is Lucy with the football.
His salary is over $200k. All he has to do is waive his salary for a year, and there you go. Wouldn't hold your breath on that happening.
Keeping the company going is good for Magerman and Kennedy (whoever he is) as they keep collecting their combined nearly 500k per year. Btw, if Magerman tells you on the cc that he hasn't cut his salary, you shouldn't let him off the hook. Not having a federal budget is not an excuse for failing to generate meaningful revenues for any products outside of the U.S. military, ever.
Ask about Joseph and Gionis and the orders pending from the Middle East for 3 years now.
