I keep looking for future valuations, and don't find much.. There is one, for $128, I have noted.. That said, the idea of the big investor is to "unleash" shareholder values... We have added D-Corning.. Reduced costs, and added Sadarra.. Then merged with DuPont.. I could see the $90-$100, guessing..maybe more.
With the merger on track... DOw has a multiple of 8; DuPont is at 27... Stands to reason we go to at least, a multiple of 18...
So, orders had to be in Friday, I think...
Doubtful... They will be going to great lengths, to retain confidence of the investors, and show the brilliance of the move, to entice new investors.
So far, I've only seen 1 estimate of what could be... That was the equivalent of $128/share.. Even if that guesstimate is off 20%, that price is significant.
I think he will hold them for a bit... Doubt Buffet has developed an allergy to making more money in his old age. If the split makes sense to him, given his propensity to hold long term; I would be surprised to see him hold longer.
The deal is getting done... Companies are already functioning, as if merge has taken place, and getting more so daily.. Same with Dow buying GLW... Market just plsying games with share price. When deals done, you will look back at $50, and giggle.
" Taking all of these factors into account, we believe the pro forma entity is capable of generating $5.50 – 6.00 of EPS in 2018. Given that these earnings will consist of contributions from several focused spinoffs, we also believe that multiple expansion is likely."
I'm figuring stock values of the 3 should be in neighborhood of $25, $25, and $35.. Should be interesting.
