You buy low priced stocks when the turnaround is verifiable, or at least projected with very high probability. I don't believe ZNGA ever underwent fundamental restructuring. Costs remain out of control. The company merely installed a new CEO, possibly a highly paid puppet fall guy, and then went on a mad drunken spending spree via expensive acquisitions. If ZNGA had adopted fundamental reform, they would have pared down the 2000 body work force which is bleeding this company dry. Remember, Pincus now has a plausible defense in the courts. "I have not been at the helm of this phantom ghost ship for two years. Talk to Don Mattrick about it."

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • There are many hopes and prayers riding on the upcoming earnings report, and very little room for miscalculations. Should this company post any kind of profit, an unlikely event, the stock will launch skyward, as expectations are so low. There comes a point when investors become tired of rose colored glasses and vague projections of forward guidance, so hard fourth quarter numbers are critical. In other words, it's time for Don Mattrick to produce solid results or climb aboard his Gulfstram jet and fly north back to the Canadian Yukon. Here's the fundamental problem. ZNGA's cost of operations continues to exceed revenue, and by a very wide margin. The freemium business model is fundamentally flawed since so few core players fork over their credit card numbers, and it costs big money to create these infantile drugs of conformity. Do you hear that great sucking sound of 2000 highly compensated techies? Lawyers on permanent retainer? Bloated management? Don Mattrick's own obscene compensation package? Do you prefer GAAP or non-GAAP accounting? Let's get ready to rumble.

It's technical, but primarily psychological (greed). Clearly, the GLUU shorts received margin calls today, and a short squeeze is in progress. It will run its course by today's close. GLUU will have significant profit taking tomorrow. ZNGA declines in tandem manana, because the sympathy vote of approval is done.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Easy 10% return, and you can likely cover manana. Feeding frenzies generally correct in short order.

  • Much of this has to do with an utter lack of creative content, and then we have a bloated work force of 2000 plus employees bleeding this pig dry. If you include management, lawyers on permanent retainer, and Mattrick's rather obscene compensation package, I would hazard a guess of a cost per employee of well in excess of $200,000. Do the math baby. The cost of operations exceeds revenue, and by a very wide margin, and this is the case even with New Age accounting. That's the very simple reason ZNGA has no listed P/E ratio, because actual earnings are non-existent. The company merely runs on capital from the scam IPO, the fools who purchased the stock at $10-and above. Yes, the bubble will pop. Patience with such hot air as forward guidance wears thin. "But Dorothy, prosperity is just around the corner."

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Contrary to popular perception, my view on any given stock remains fluid, though admittedly this company is easy to despise for a host of reasons. Let's take pride, ego, and emotion out of the equation for a moment, not always an easy task. Give me three days of incremental price appreciation on above average volume of let's say at least 20 million shares or more, and I will readily admit that this stock is likely going somewhere over the long haul, with strong volume being a very key component. I still see zero evidence to this point, which leads me to believe this is just more rattle and hum of a rather mundane ZNGA roadkill bounce. It's also very obvious that ZNGA is moving up today in sympathy with GLUU. When ZNGA creates a game with Jenna Jameson as the central theme, now that might pique my interest in an otherwise bland menu. By the way, Tiger Woods appears to be toast. His past arrogance has come full circle, very much within the notion of Karma Yoga. Even his fellow golfers now feel sorry for his pathetic performances of late, the Phoenix Open in particular.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Or less than $200k in total capital. Completely meaningless. However, this stock is ripe for another Kosher Nostra roadkill bounce of the 10 to 20 cent variety. If you participate, always sell too early. That's the only way you can walk away with a few coins. Hold through earnings at your own peril. Let's get ready to rumble.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • While fourth quarter numbers remain atrocious, guidance looks excellent. At some point in the vague future, ZNGA will shock Wall Street and post an actual profit. Then ZNGA can actually list a P/E ratio on Yahoo Finance. Let me point out to you that Rome wasn't destroyed in a day. Thanks for your continued patience. What a long strange trip it's been. All I know is none of my paychecks have bounced thus far. Thanks for your continued patience.
    Yours,
Dr. Don and His Medicine Show

  • Are you optimistic 'bout the way things are going?
No, I never ever ever think about it at all.
Don't you ever worry when you see that ZNGA's going down?
No, I try to mind my business, and ZNGA ain't no business at all.
When it's time to function as a real human being
Will Farmville and Looney Tunes help you get by?
I hope to be a gamer a few more years or so
I also hope to keep a steady high.
Will you try to change things
Use the power that you have, the power of a million new ideas?
What is this power you speak of and this need for things to change?

Thank you for the talk, you know you really eased my mind
I was troubled by the shape of things to come
Well, if you had my outlook, your feelings would benumb.
You'd always think everything was fine.

Summary: What a shame Terry Kath put a bullet in his head, not even 32 years old. I do like his idealism. It still lives.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • No, the 15% Nasdaq decline is not in just yet, though we did start the month of January on the right track. I'm simply a bit premature in my doom and gloom vision. Patience will bear much fruit, just as it has with the ongoing ZNGA death spiral. All is in God's time, not my own.
But back to Jackson Brown. He spewed out plenty of commercial garbage, especially in the early '80's. At his best, Jackson Brown is an extremely gifted lyricist and songwriter. "These Days" is such a gem. It is astounding that he wrote it at the very young age of 16. Some accuse Brown of being a closet misogynist. He did have a wife who commit suicide. We all have our contradictions. However, I remain fervently anti-ZNGA. I am quite consistent on that point. This hype will see $1.99.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Has anyone else noticed that the ZNGA message board has become Dullsville, USA? The absolute lethargy and tedium of this garbage stock is beginning to wear on me. It 's like listening to a dripping water faucet while you lie awake in bed. Simply annoying. Until this rubbish breaks decisively below $2.50--key technical and psychological support--all we can expect is more of the same incessant ennui, and let me assure you that I am the kind of flamboyant personality, that I must live on the very edge of the wild side. Things are such a bore, that I find myself keeping abreast of all the events surrounding a post-op Bruce Jenner and his step daughter's fat plump bottom and penchant for black boa constrictors. Are these pertinent news stories? It didn't help matters when Adonis (SFJLegend) abandoned this circle of dysfunction. At least he was a half decent at ad hominem attacks, and he looks damn good in a mini skirt. This oaf, the donkey's posterior end-- yes, pjosh350-- is just another Legend wannabe. At least, Pinkboned was somewhat entertaining, even while he lost money on his ZNGA position.

Look, I'm willing to wait this one out, but I may have to pick up my little drinking habit again to make the time pass with ease.. The ZNGA death spiral can't resume fast enough for me. After this stock crashes, I'm requesting a direct transfer the the Herbalife message board. I ought to be out of this joint in a week or so. Crash and burn baby!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • By the way, Wedbush Securities has been pushing this garbage--ZNGA--from way back, and at much higher prices. Just take a close look at the sordid record. On 04.07.14 Michael Pachter of Wedbush issued a strong buy on ZNGA with a price target of $7-. We closed at $2.59 today.

Summary: Beware of the Kosher Nostra. Wedbush has been dead wrong on ZNGA. Pachter is a promo girl.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • After next lack of earnings report come this February 12: 2000 to 1

After ZNGA's gourmet restaurant is reduced to beans and rice: 4 to 1

Summary: ZNGA ought to post a profit within the`next decade or two. This is a long term investment.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • By the end of 2015, the company will be entirely disbanded, the headquarters transformed into a Rite Aid or perhaps a gay bath house/strip club, and all remaining cash (if there is any) distributed to shareholders on record. This is really the only hope for the longs to see any return on this mal-investment. I now rate ZNGA a very strong speculative buy depending on the shadow of the ground hog. Oops, ZNGA has just turned red.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Both Bruce and ZNGA are works in transition, and this latest game, a stroke of brilliance from Don Mattrick, might just push ZNGA into profitable territory. I'm going to have to issue a strong buy signal on this quality growth stock. We should see $5-by this Friday at the latest. Load up now.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

  • True, Greece has always been in the economic backwaters of Europe, and its GNP relatively insignificant except for olives, goats, and rusty ships. Its real threat is to establish precedent, and this is a very dangerous situation. Consider for a moment the other countries under severe austerity measures--Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and soon Italy, and the natives are restless in all those countries. If Greece walks away from its obligations or its granted a free pass, all these other suffering nations will be closely watching, and demand the same. The Germans have already balked at any free ride, so we have a problem, and the friction is now increasing at a rapid clip.

Now consider if Greece is ousted or secedes from the European Union. What if Greece then establishes close economic ties to Russia, and heaven forbid, military cooperation? This is the ultimate trump card. We live in fascinating times. Putin will attempt to work this to his advantage.

Summary: The Greek situation takes the market down next week. We are looking at a bad Monday opening. This crisis has been building up for years. It now must be resolved, but there are no simple solutions. Take a look mat the protests in Madrid today from the leftists. We will see more of this. I spent three years in Europe, and not as a tourist. I have a good sense of what is going down. Dump ZNGA and remain short the broad averages. The shorts will have a field day in 2015.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • I am aware that some of the latent boys in San Francisco and more than a few employees of the ZNGA Brain Trust, enjoy these type of sordid activities. Under normal medical conditions, urine is technically a sterile fluid, but personally, I like to bathe in Holy Water, as I am a prophet in the highest sense of the biblical term. Speaking of unfolding prophecy, let us take a close look at the absolute drudgery of today's ZNGA volume. Now, if overall volume in the general market was slow as well, and I'm referring specifically to SPY, then we wouldn't be concerned about ZNGA's lackluster volume. However, SPY volume burst to the upside today damn near two times the average daily. This tells me most of the major Farmville players are awaiting some delusional price appreciation based on the coming earnings report. That more than likely is one pipe full of Mendocino County green bud. I would be very concerned when everyone attempts to sell this garbage simultaneously, and the bid side drops precipitously. We at Vulture Capital Management are betting on this outcome. Positive guidance (more smoke and mirrors) won't cut it this time. Hard numbers based on real accounting are required.

Repeat after me. Volume precedes price with very high mathematical probability. We will likely see major liquidity problems with ZNGA post lack of earnings, with a huge burst in volume. Like most pink sheet stocks, it trades very thin. This shall be ZNGA's undoing.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • I naturally prefer pure uncut flake. If you provide a good review of the product, I might just have to pay you a visit after ZNGA breaks below $2-.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Well, that's a sigh of relief. Where would ZNGA be without Mr. Pinus tugging at the strings of his puppet, highly compensated fall guy really, DR. Don Mattrick?
