It doesn't surprise me one bit with all the problems being reported with Carnival. I, from experience, hold a belief that they are a company that chooses to neglect customers. While on a Carnival cruise I approached the "customer service" desk with complaints and their attitude was one that they basically really didn't care. They had my money. I was on board. They didn't care.. end of story. Company's such as this deserve to be put out of their misery and taken over by someone else that can redirect towards true customer satisfaction. I often recommend to others that they should take some cruise other than Carnival.

convenient... affordable... great selection of goods... and closer than wal-mart... thus I'm not only shopping there frequently... I'm also buying stock in DG.

The Gainesville facility is looking good. They took over and remodelled the existing jail in Gainesville, GA., which saved lots of money I'm sure. Still, it's obvious that the money is flowing into this company. They will have the place looking brand new and as a guy that had been looking for a good job in the area, it's none too soon. I can see that this company is up and coming and I intend to buy a bit of stock while I work there. Expansion amidst the recession is a very good sign.

The real question is which ID's are the Verges using lately? It has been confirmed in the past that certain Verges do lurk around the boards. How sad eh? No credibility in real life and trying bolster some playing on stock boards.

Yea..rather than the fact that the revenue was to come from selling overseas stocks and such but now that they have no value...oops...can't make money from what is worthless.

It is amazing when the list is put together. Of course the kicker was being on the phone with NMKT's own PR guy back during the DMOI debaucle and him saying himself that the two parties were hardly even talking while PV put out statements insisting the closing of aquisition was progressing.

Dividends stated as part of that deal were never scheduled or any notice made to the channels that would need to be notified of such a share issuance as part of the closing thus there was never an intent to close at the time he put out his letter to the public stating the closing would be expected to occur as predicted.

I looked into it all myself and it is why I am so comfortable in saying... Phil Verges is a fraud.

The Verges are all participants in what I believe to have been a fraudulent event surrounding that supposed aquisition which involved notices to the public of progress while there was in fact none being made.

Again, the Verges know who I am and can come after me whenever they like. It would be fun.

Ah another newbie ... in to take the place of the furby guy or maybe it is the same guy.

There have been folks in this stock off and on for years and you think you know something about it just now eh? This stock tanked because the CEO is a lying fraud. Fabricated situations, at least one of which I myself investigated and discovered that the printed claim was absolutely false involving one of their many claimed aquisitions, DMOI. Nothing ever comes of Phil Verges claims but more shares and more shells.

The Verges are all lying fraud scumbags. Period.

Back when I first sold out and told everyone at the board at that time my belief that he (PV) is a fraud, I asked the forum for anyone to post any photos of any fleet vehicles or copany facilities from these so-called overseas operations. Nothing ever was posted. There is nothing about this company that can be proved without a safe-harbor statement. I once wrote a letter to PV himself and questioned his "integrity" as he put it in his humorous response. I questioned whether or not he intentionally was contriving to do damage to the stock price at times. If anyone wonders why it would be beneficial to do so, when you are basing an ever expanding company bottom line on shares in shell companies that continually re-blossom with other shells, it benefits you to have the maximum number of shares paid to yourself when you have an arrangement such as Vergetech whereby you are repaying yourself with shares. You get the maximum control over the maximum number of shares that are being unloaded over time. PV isn't stupid. Neither are his family members. They are just evil and crooked.

Back when the Verges were on their stockholder meeting circuit and stopped in through Atlanta, this gal and her brother seemed to have some credibility. I wasn't sure later whether it was just PV that didn't have any honesty in him or if it was the entire family that were liars but the lies and scam on shareholders has gone on long enough to show that there is no honesty, dignity, for sense of decency in anyone in the Verges family. If there was, they would've long ago ganged up on Philly boy and kicked his as.s for tarnishing their family name. Instead, they seem quite content to allow Verges equal the meaning of liars, cheats, and frauds. That includeds Stacy who tried so hard to seem genuine back then at those meetings. It is for good reason that they no longer have meetings where the average stockholder can look them in the eye and hide behind the virtual online thing where they don't have to deal with any hard questions. They are cowards, scumbags, and have no depth to them as a whole beyond contriving to take more money from the unwary.

It is known that they monitor the message board. I sure hope they see this one. Verges=liars and scumbags.

    Factually False Public Statements?

    by pyrex9 Jan 25, 2009 9:02 PM
offficerandagentleman offficerandagentleman Jan 26, 2009 5:31 PM Flag

Back when Phil Verges was making public statements in writing concerning the Diamond I aquisition, it was as I have stated back when I was a shareholder, fraud. I confirmed from outside sources that Phil Verges was not in fact making the efforts to close the deal that he was stating in his statement just before the deal deadline. In fact, I was able to confirm that the parties were hardly talking at all. He put out a rosy statement at that time that was completely false expectations and I have openly stated I consider to be fraudulent. He knows where to find me if he would like to sue.

Well I'm not a stockholder so I really don't care one way or the other about Amazon. I just know that they are poorly managed in marketing their main product.

I have made money investing in stocks but wouldn't bet on this one.

If you saw a sudden push for them to make visible the thousands of titles that show promise than having them hidden in their database, then it might be worth owning to me.

Frankly, I'm posting as an author that wants to sell my product through Amazon. They would make a lot of money off guys like me if they stopped hiding their most valuable assets behind very non-user-friendly menus and means of access with no real visibility of anything that isn't already a success.

  • offficerandagentleman offficerandagentleman Dec 1, 2008 4:39 PM Flag

That is the simple gist of it, yes.

I wrote a nice long letter to the CEO that I made every effort to find a contact fact I tried to find a contact for anyone at all that it could be sent to of any importance whatsoever. When I scoured the website and then tried searching the internet for such information and found nothing, I realized how out of touch they have become. They literally provide no forum for the public to contact them with concerns.....without an order number of course.

  • offficerandagentleman offficerandagentleman Dec 1, 2008 3:02 PM Flag

If they wanted to really turn things around, they could easily do so by going back to what made them a success, good books. Instead of hawking electronics and diamond rings on their main page, they could do some revealing advertising on their great unknown works which they could make a mint off of, especially through their subsidiary self publishing service, Booksurge. Amazon gets a HUGE chunk of such sales and could leverage this easily with a bit of creativity.

  • offficerandagentleman by offficerandagentleman Dec 1, 2008 2:47 PM Flag

I put this up on a discussion forum at Amazon's site but I doubt they give a dang. Just so ya know I have no stock ownership or interest in it's performance other than my own personal observation that they are poorly led from an author's standpoint.

"As an author of children's books, the black and white screen is disappointing. I doubt I'll publish for Kindle though I'd like to. They really should upgrade to a color screen. To post reviews about how it's unfair to criticize merely shows a lack of concern for the customer's needs and lack of motivation as a company to truly fill needs of the market. I guess this isn't surprising as there are also countless great works in Amazon's database hidden away due to lack of "paid" advertising even though it should be recognized by Amazon's leadership that it is in their own interest to put forth more works to be recognized and generate revenue. I saw that Amazon was on a 52 week low for their stock price lately. This is not surprising at all. They really should either get someone of vision to guide them or open their eyes to what the public wants."

Been a while since I dropped in so I thought I'd check things out. I see that the next batch of New Marketeer pumpers that took over after I left have also given up. PV just keeps up with the same old. He works up a "letter of intent" now and then which I surmise that more people have figured out is just his way of boosting/stabilizing shares while more are dumped. Sadly, the new batch of folks don't seem to have figured out the VergeTech deal though. On the upside, Gainesville is keeping up the entertainment. I wonder.... has PV put out anything more on his tribal Africa work to bring networked solutions and wireless to them? There was so much promise

  • offficerandagentleman offficerandagentleman Aug 18, 2008 5:14 PM Flag

Poor fool. It's all part of PV's big fraud, making money while you buy the shares. Such fools never push for the Verges to expose what really goes on with Vergetech. Such fools probably don't even do the research to know what Vergetech is.
