    More Apple stores than Apple

I think I was right on, Calm, now that GME has 2,800 de facto wireless stores as they announce today that they are selling Cricket Wireless products at Gamestop locations. Tech brands segment of their business should be worth $5 billion five years from now, equalling their present market cap without a dime of video game products. If you were related to me, G_d forbid, I would have to disown you. But I do agree that $70 could happen within 12 months. Someone might retire off that kind of stock price increase if they were smart.

You are correct. I meant to say by September, 2016, not 2015. They should have 75 Simply Mac stores by end of 2015, 200 to 300 by end of 2016, thus surpassing Apple's retail locations assuming Apple's same slow rate of growth of physical stores. Either way, a tremendous growth story that could double their market cap in five years when I can see 1,000 stores operating. They will be the biggest Apple retailer in the world with those stores, not the next Blockbuster. Thanks for pointing this out though.

  • By September, 2015, GME will have more stores selling Apple products than Apple, which currently has about 245 in the U.S. A couple of years later, they will have nearly 1,000 Simply Mac stores all across this great land. That, along with their mobile business stores, will alone be a 5 billion dollar market cap business and will likely be spun off. The massive amount of used Iphone 5s's will be a boon to GME into next year. And let's not forget the biggest video software cycle in history is starting now. How many more short-initiated articles will start with, "Gamestop, the next Blockbuster?" Serious investors have stopped listening to that nonsense. I think the shorts will capitulate at 50, and the squeeze will get us close to 60. 2015 price: 15x next year's EPS, which I believe is 4.50, or $67.50. Bye,bye shorties. It was nice knowing you.
