Any thoughts on suspension of buyback or dividend cut? I've got 400 shares at 74 and am planning to hold and average down but getting nervous. Dividend helps to put a bandaid on a gunshot wound now but don't know. Thanks.

  • n16 you have been spot on with many of you posts over the last year since I've owned NOV. I know this is asking a lot but what are your thoughts on price? Saw you reply low 40's. Any concern about dividend cut, etc. Thanks.I know everything is still shaking out but just a best guess. Own shares at 73.58 but plan on holding long term and dollar cost average but certainly not yet. Good Luck All.

  • Have read several articles stating weakest demand for oil occurs late winter / early spring. NOV previous 52 week low I believe in Jan, so I look for oil to keep dropping unless unforeseen event. Have 400 shares @ 73.58 will hold and average down at this point. Plan was to buy 400 more at 63.58 and so on but may wait until 53.58. Might not get there but ain't buying now. Good luck to all. Hopefully oil will bounce back in 12 to 18 months (can't believe I just said that).
