I'd like to know what will happen if the stroke trial fails...Or shows efficacy but still doesn't quite meet endpoints. Is that the end? Is Gil going to walk off into the sunset like Scistats seems to want us to believe, or are they going to keep fighting? Is there a future for Multistem without stroke?

GVB might say
Oh, I know who this is... Sorry we had to part ways, but we are a at the end of the day a science based goal oriented company and everyone here has to pull their own weight. Our new janitor is working out just fine...Please return the medical terminology text book I loaned you...
Or something along those lines.
Really? Driven by the office lately and checked? I'd be more worried if they were pumping out trivial news articles all the time.
I doubt Pipelight has ever been invested in anything. If he's on your board then it's only because most of us on the ATHX board have him on ignore. If you want insight into Pipelight then google: "internet-trolls-are-narcissists-psychopaths-and-sadists" article from Psychology Today by Jennifer Golbeck, Ph.D.
Thanks for elaborating. I'm keeping my eye on the ball that is currently in play. That would be stroke. If uc turns out to be of value still for ATHX then great.
I agree, not taking ones self too serious is important. For some reason I just flashed on Dudley Moore smiling while taking a drink of water at Bo Derrick in the movie "10" after he had some dental work done.
Surv, the really effing funny part is that this could ALL be the same guy OR different guys that work at the same place using a screen name. It's amazing the difference in writing styles you sometimes see used by one screen name. This is the rabbit hole that are stock message boards...Love it or hate it...It's seldom boring.
I think if they did that they would be leaving themselves open to a lawsuit. If there is a "small molecule" secreted by Multistem that treats uc then that would be good news indeed for ATHX. I hope that's the case....Maybe the reason we haven't heard anything yet...Some have been saying the fat lady hasn't yet sung on the uc study.
That was phase 2 then then prochymal was sold to Mesoblast looks like they did a phase 3 they are also doing a stroke study though not as far along as ATHX.
O.k. so there you go, did Prochymal study have major pharma backing/running it? No? Gil, let Pfizer chew on THAT uc bone for cash, and kept the stroke study for himself.

Anything is possible. It's heartening that at least one insider was willing to make a bet for ATHX's success though.
Anyone know if the mesoblast trial showed efficacy? I didn't see any results, looked like a much smaller study.
They paid for the trial...They wanted to look at mapc's with out showcasing ATHX...They accomplished this. Stroke is where the money is and ATHX has always known this. You also seem to want us to believe that Gil is throwing his own company (and us) under the bus. Highly unlikely. What are your motives? You really really want to see the sp for this company tank. Why? Do you have a personal vendetta with Gil? At any rate you've already shown yourself to be a liar. Anything you say is suspect.
