    Wilkinson County:

Halcon Blackstone 4H-2, located roughly halfway between Centreville and Woodville on the south side of Hwy 24. Best I can tell, plugs drilled out and flow back underway soon...if not already. Expect a report of this well to be ready for Halcon's 2nd quarter report to be released July 30th.

Goodrich CMR Foster Creek 24-13, access from Hwy 24 on Hiram McGraw Road to Macedonia Road, then to end of Helmer Road. Nabors Rig # 624 spudded May 30. If all goes as expected this drill should be complete by late next week. Expected this rig to move to the CMR-Foster Creek 8H site and possibly drill 2 wells!

Goodrich Bates 25-24H-1, located roughly 2 miles northeast of Liberty off of Hwy 569 North. No word on lateral length, but I am expecting 5,000' or more. Frac operations should follow completion of the Denkmann.

Goodrich Denkmann 33-28H-2, located in Amite County on the Mississippi/Louisiana line in T1N, R4E. Accessed from the Louisiana side through Weyerhaeuser roads off of Tolar Hurst/Parish Road 181 off of Hwy 1044 north of Hwy 38. Frac operations should be starting here shortly.

HK Blackstone Frac complete... plugs out by the weekend hopefully...... Should be a nice well...

ignore the pundits..... should be another wave up.....within a week

The Tangipahoa Parish School Board according to a link below just signed a nice oil lease...

"the Board voted unanimously to award HK TMS, LLC of Houston an oil lease on the district’s 643-plus acres of 16th Section property in the northeast corner of the parish.

The land, commonly referred to as the “Lewiston tract” will be leased at a rate of $1,066,312.60 minimum bid, plus annual rental of $828.50 per acre or $1,657 per acre bonus rate.

If the land strikes oil, the district will be eligible for a 25 percent royalty on the oil produced.

The lease is scheduled to last just three years, and the documents must first be presented to the state Mineral Rights Board for approval before the district can proceed with the contract."

    Beech Grove 94H-1 Results

Due to the volatility in trading, I delayed making any comments regarding Goodrich's Beech Grove 94H-1 well results. A week ago, Goodrich released an IP of 740 boepd. My prior post laid the foundation for a discussion on the geological parameters and their impact on production performance. I do not know any of the details on the drill and completion of the Beech Grove 94H-1. The press release indicates that the lateral length was 6000' and the lateral landed in the lower part of the TMS. Assuming that everything went well and the completion recipe was consistent with the last six wells, I would have expected ~1000 boepd for an initial test. If that were the case, then one must analyze the location and determine what geological parameter(s) was different (25% off expectation). Despite the fact that Devon released photographs of natural fractures in conventional core from 15500', the financial gurus are trying to pin the Beech Grove results on the deeper depth stating that fractures don't exist in the deeper parts of the play. I believe that Goodrich's SLC 81H-1 will prove that to be false.

At the Infocast TMS Summit last month, I presented some geological interpretations indicating "axes" that exist across this trend in not only the TMS, but also the Tuscaloosa sands below and above, and the Austin Chalk. These axes represent both dip-trending sediment source fairways along with strike-trending "current reworked" fairways. Lithology, facies, porosity, permeability, and natural fractures might have slight (~10-25%) variability in some areas due to the proximity to the axis. These won't present huge variability, but might be a factor of 100 MBOE per well in some cases. The Beech Grove lies south of a dip-trending axis in an area that exhibits "thinner" pay. Just north is the Devon Richland Plantation 74H-1 that had respectable results for a well that only used 92000 pounds of proppant per stage.

I look forward to the Goodrich SLC 81H-1 results. As mentioned prior, this well is thicker than the Beech Grove. Offset wells have calculated pay thicknesses of: 114', 122', 128', and 174'. It is located at a nice intersection of "axes" which should present some nice natural fractures. This will be the first real test of the Washita Basin. I believe that we'll see some exciting results.

no, he's not..... the frac crew is booked up solid.....Blackstone nearly finished fracing or should be in next couple of days, then week for plug drill out..... fassman running behind schedule.... brand new rig...new rig crew..... they will take time to get up to speed... Blackstone results by the conf call..... hoping for good though with shorter lateral.... sd smith should be almost done drilling also (the good rig and crew drilled that one) .... Schlumberger needs to bring in a second frac crew... immediately........ it will be very informative to see where the rig crew drilling the smith moves to next to drill its 4th well....the SLC well by GDP is a big time important well..... its fracing now(Halliburton)... if it does well im expecting HK to move into West Feliciana Parish in the very Northern portion...
Lots of big news in the next two weeks

Halcon S D Smith, located on the Jackson Louisiana Road south of Woodville. H&P Flex 3 Rig# 249 spudded June 9, 2014. Drilling away!

Goodrich CMR Foster Creek 24-13, access from Hwy 24 on Hiram McGraw Road to Macedonia Road, then to end of Helmer Road. Nabors Rig # 624 spudded May 30. Drilling in the curve. Intermediate casing in place.

EnCana Pintard 28H-2, located roughly 3 miles north of Centreville off Macedonia Road- Trinidad Rig # 124 finished drill with 20,807' total depth and an approximate lateral length of 8,500'.

    Amite County:

Encana Lewis 7-18H-1, located about 1 mile north of the Lower Centreville Road off of the County Farm Road roughly 7 miles south of Liberty. Twenty-nine successful fractures, 8,000' lateral, plugs drilled out...awaiting flow back.

Encana Lyons 35H-2- Located on same site as Lyons 35H-1, Trinidad Rig # 125 - drill reportedly completed around June 11 with about a 5,000' lateral. Preparing for fracturing operations following completion of Blackstone 4H frac job.

Encana Sabine 12H-1 and 12H-2, located off of Enterprise Road, south of Hwy 24 about 3 miles out of Liberty, access is from Hwy 48. Trinidad Rig # 125 spudded 12H-1 on June 20 and 12H-2 on June 23. Both wells appear to have drilled to intermediate depth and casing appears to be put into place today.

EnCana Mathis 29-32H-1, Located on the Louisiana line due south of the Anderson 17H unit, just off of Bean Road in T1N, R5E. Well completed with stages, flowing back. Awaiting production report.

Goodrich Bates 25-24H-1, located roughly 2 miles northeast of Liberty off of Hwy 569 North, Ensign Rig # 753 spudded May 12.
Goodrich reported this well had reached total depth as of Monday, July 7. Still on site. Ensign Rig # 753 is expected to be assigned to the Spears 31-6H-1 to be drilled from the recently completed C H Lewis 30-19H site.

Nabors X-17 spudded May 23. Completed drilling in 25 days with an approximate lateral of 6,200'. Preparing for fracturing operations. Nabors moving to CMR/Foster Creek 31-22H-1 in Wilkinson County.

    St. Helena Parish-

    East Feliciana-

Goodrich Beech Grove 94H-1- Located about 4 miles east of Wilson, LA off of Carruth Road was reported with a 672 barrels per day of oil initial production rate. This is a bit disappointing, but story is that there are few natural fractures under the Beech Grove to enhance the artificial fracturing. Negative is lower initial production...possible positive is a slower drop in production over time.

    West Feliciana-

Goodrich SLC 81H-1- Ensign Rig #751. Located off of Walker Road via LA Hwy 421 north of and about 12 miles from Jackson, LA. Fracturing operations underway.
