Will KMI go much above 40?

Hey tiglet: Let's bet $10,000 that the posted copies of my 30,000 KMI warrant trades today are real. Just wire $10,000 to my attorney or I'll wire $10,000 to your attorney. The money will go into an escrow account to be paid out to the winner of the bet.
ARE YOU ON or just another clueless wonder pounding on a keyboard in your mommy's basement??!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rossrogers: Trades have been posted. I started accumulating the warrants back in March and bought them as low as $1.66. I've been trading around a core position but, of course, in 20/20 hindsight I should have soldout a couple of times since the deal was announced.
BTW -- My biggest position was 95,000 warrants just last week.
Merry Xmas!! Hope "Santa" is good to you, too!!

Hey, tiglet. Santa delivered me a huge gift of $$$ today!! I sold 30,000 KMI warrants @ $4.05 just before the close for a 120% gain since March, still holding 40,000 warrants. Will sell all if KMI hits $43+. Now go take your babbling BS to some clueless morons who may give a damn. LOL

tiglet: Of course the earnings are unknown! They always are before being released!! LOL

However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that earnings won't significantly improve post merger. Just review the KMI news releases. They always hype the future dividend growth NOT earnings growth. Pay attention, pal.

tiglet: You go on believing that. KMI bought in all the MLPs at a substantial premium. The lure for investors is the fat dividend, continually trumpeted by Kinder. However, in my view the low earnings growth rate doesn't support the current PE multiple. Frankly, I'll certainly speculate in the warrants with the analysts now pumping the stock but wouldn't buy KMI at current levels. Before criticizing further, do some real analysis and DD.

I have a substantial position in the warrants which I began accumulating in March near the lows. I've learned to trade around a core position due to the volatility in KMI since the deal was announced in early August.
I used to think the ultimate exercise of the warrants would be significantly dilutive. However, one should understand that if the stock stays in the $40s it's no big deal since investors who exercise will be buying shares for $40 cash, substantially above book value. (IMO if the stock hits the mid-$40s, the company will likely stop buying in the warrants.)

With KMI now just a C-corp, the valuation is not compelling in spite of the Goldman Sachs $50 target price. With a 30+ PE and most cash flow going to the dividend, I think investors will wake up someday and see that there isn't enough growth to justify the valuation. As such, I'll likely totally sellout of the warrants @ $4.50.
    Good luck.

BTW -- Since the deal was announced, it looks to me like KMI has a triple top going @ $42+. If the stock can't bust through $42.49 in the next few days, I think it goes back down below $40 again.

Hey Daffy, I guess you've been "pounding" this turkey all the way down. What's your average price these days? I bought some more around $4 but only have a minor position in SFY.
Not trying to brag, but I've made a boatload of money the last two months trading UGAZ, DGAZ, UVXY and KMI warrants (currently my biggest position). When you get wind of the next polar vortex load up with UGAZ. When natural gas rallies to $4.50, UGAZ will pop from $7 to $16-18 (it just went from $10 to $18+ last month with the first polar vortex of the season). When gas prices appear to peak (just as the cold begins to hit), sell and switch to the DGAZ. Rinse and repeat. Good luck!!

jake_snake: I'll likely only hold this dog for a few days or weeks depending on the price action or lack there of. Now get back over to the GLUU board and resume harassing the clueless pumpers!! LOL

  • Finally got an execution at the close for 10,000 shares of ANV @ 78 cents. Nothing big, just a small roll of the dice. Why? Heck, I'm a gambler on speculative stocks. Why else?? LOL

Like, gob* says, companies usually offer stock well below the current price to easily sell the entire offer. Obviously, ANV will likely have problems with this stock sale unless the stock quickly rallies back to $1. Fat chance!!
