You don't have to take it...but watch others take advantage. I AM 70 percent into CHK. I kept selling everything else and loading - my broker almost shut me down on some of the buys I made.
Sell more and lose more
Carl........where da hell are you?????
Goo job. It may hit $32-$34 on Thursday
I have so much shirts I really need to lose some, SO I LOADED UP BIG. And it doesn't llok like I will be losing any shorts by buying today
The risk-averse shorts are covering while the die-hards are selling to them. The die-hards will start covering above $7.08. That will scale us through $8.
Let's see how much I get from 6000 shares
What kind of security contraption HERO is I don't know. Virtually all Websites still don't have any real numbers on the shares, no accurate market cap, no real number of shares, no nothing. Is anyone ever doing some work for HERO or has it turned into a front?
Imagine if David Tepper was on the side of SUNE instead of against it??? SUNE'd be trading at $10 by now. In this business, you need a ruthless pimp, an aggressive pimp. Shorts know if they pushed SCTY to much, Elon would run them over. But here, Einhorne is kind of a gentleman. He doesn't want David Tepper to think that he is against him, so he threads softly even against his own interest. David would not care even if his mother was mad He'd protect his own. Now, this new Billionaire that started buying last week...like 20 million shares now??? He may be the Pimp that SUNE seriously needs to unlock its value. I am long and strong. But, what do I know, I only know how to smoke weed. It's legal here!!!
Funny that I wrote that because I didn't even know when it got to two. Noticed the stock on Tuesday under $1. The beauty about this business is that everything does not rise the same time. So, you can always play around hot stuff and come to stocks like HERO later. Because the catalyst (Maersk) is still two months away, and the bondholders appear to not have interest in the stock at this point, no need to rush into it and tie money up. Any day you see EXXI at $1, then I'd be a HERO buyer....just roll over the cash. I bot 60,000 EXXI under $0.40.
I will load at some point...hopefully whoever can keep it under $1 until I am done with EXXI and OAS
Anyone disagree???? I can see David getting ready to file for bkruptcy. Don't mind me, I smoke a lot (it's legal here)
lol...all the way to the bank
I was thinking to myself that someone was not thinking right selling under $4 after the news of the Indonesian cash and value of that property. What was I smoking that prevented me from buying under 44
There is a second condition too but, you can see where this is going. Now I need to smoke some more weed just to express my relief at having gone all in today, putting in some $78000 into SUNE. Ohhh...smoking is legal here so I am ok!!!
At last check, FCX calls are changing hands at twice the usual intraday rate. In the lead by a mile is the January 2016 5 strike, where nearly 13,000 contracts are on the tape. From the looks of it, traders are buying to open positions here, anticipating the shares will muscle back atop the $5 mark by this Friday's close, when front-month options expire.
FCX option players have been buying to open calls over puts in recent weeks. Specifically, during the past 10 days at the International Securities Exchange (ISE), Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and NASDAQ OMX PHLX (PHLX), the stock has amassed a call/put volume ratio of 3.66 -- outstripping all but 14% of readings from the prior year.
Given FCX's terrible technicals and the fact short interest is perched at levels not charted in more than a decade, another strategy may be in play. Specifically, short sellers may be purchasing calls to guard against an unforeseen breakout in the shares.
Regardless of the motive, now is a good time to buy premium on short-term Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE:FCX) options. The stock's Schaeffer's Volatility Scorecard (SVS) rests at a high 96, suggesting the shares have tended to make outsized moves in the past year, relative to what the options market has priced in.
kaiwalling...ever heard about tax-loss selling??? Most sales occurring at the end of the year reflects tax loss strategies and not necessarily the sellers dislike of the stock. I bet they'd buy the 4 million back...watch out for the next SEC filing
Fool me once...shame on you. Fool me two times shame on me. Because a fool can't be fooled again - George W. Bush,
These HEDGE FUNDS are no good. They come in to destroy....ONLY. Remember when David Tepper denied any investment in SUNE, while he was loading. Now he is out to cause mischief. Crooks
