there are hedge funds out there that compete directly with the likes of CI and Ackman. These guys are not well liked and companies they invest in can pay the price. I watched MOTR (now VLTC) go to nothing while CI lost pretty much everything.
CI approaching $150,000,000 loss so far and we all have 19 more trading days until Richy Ricci gives us the "news" again. I'm afraid this is really going to get painful in the coming weeks. Bizarre, to say the least.
Small(person)...I accept that you have disdain for me but whether CooTek buries them or not, the fact remains that they would like to dominate the keyboard market. Nowhere in Nuance's PR did they say the judge threw out the lawsuit or that CooTek turned down their acquisition request. Don't you think that's relevant?
You can't deny the fact that NUANCE spun this thing to their favor when in fact it wasn't. Add to this the typical Ricci strategy of trying to buy them to essentially get rid of them. CooTek management clearly now wants to bury Ricci by the tone of their PR.
Finally someone else comes forward with honesty and not embarrassed with their position. As I have shared, I have a position very similar to Useless and I know of a couple more individuals on this board that have 40k + in shares from the low single digits on average. We have always felt that some day this VR $&@? would explode but after over a decade, we're still dreaming. This fall from grace with Nuance has been humbling and the most frustrating thing I've ever gone through. My life is going to be defined by the future of NUANCE. I'm totally committed to it.
Thanks Opal, add to the negative stats is the fact that Ricci is announcing Q4/FY earnings really to the end of the reporting deadline. This $@&? just thumbs his nose at all of us and I guarantee we'll see Form 4's from these shmucks in the coming weeks prior to ER. Get your turkey early as Richy Ricci looks to spoil Thanksgiving.
one has to wonder how serious an investment in NUANCE. CI tweets all about his position in AAPL when his % ownership is not in the top 50 vs his complete silence in his investment in NUANCE as the largest shareholder. Brett could cover all his loses in NUANCE just by the bet he has with Daddy on NFLX. This is F'd up!
That would be an $11,750 investment in those Jan 18's...kind of a weak wager considering your confidence! Come on, step up to the plate:) The new year will come fast!!!!
