Not all of the bank debt will be paid off with a lot of these loans. But true.............Banks do collect before bond holders.
Firstly I recommend you go out and enjoy that fime wine dinner in NYC. You will enjoy the dinner verses watching your cash go down with no enjoyment.
Secondly CHK keeps getting halted due to the heavy volume tripping the switch.
Thirdly WF will take a bath just like a lot of banks will in the energy loan department
How about another bragging post from you Toronto. Down big on the first 10k you bought at over a buck and another 85k @ over .50. Rolling the bones right OCHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It isn't just LINN................From an article
U.S. oil companies are feeling the hurt too and have scaled back their dividends, a move many said they wouldn’t have to do during this downturn. On Monday Diamond Offshore said it was suspending its dividend to cut costs. On Thursday ConocoPhillips (COP) cut its dividend by 66%, and while Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA) kept its payout, it wouldn’t give guidance past 2016. Anadarko Petroleum (APC) said it might trim its dividend.
Diamond Offshore shares fell 3.9% to 18.12 in the stock market today. Conoco shares were down 2.7%. Shell shares dipped 2.1%. Anadarko shares were down 5.7%.early.
Meanwhile, pipeline operator Energy Transfer Equity crashed 33% Monday after abruptly dropping its CFO. Energy Transfer shares already had crashed on reports that it wouldn’t be able to close its Williams Cos. (WMB) takeover. Williams Cos. tumbled 34% in early trading
Saudi Arabia doesn’t want to cut production and lose market share to Iran, Russia and U.S. producers and said there was no point in talking about cutting production until it’s seen how much oil Iran is really able to put back on the market.
As you claim this about LINN's hedges the SP is now at .35. They robbed the piggy bank and have no intention of keeping LINN afloat. The hedges will not help. But roll the bones as one person said here.
The board is and was a lot better over the past few days when you weren't here. Low posting and no anger. Do yourself a favor and just leave. You add nothing as seen by your old pastes. That have no relevance to LINN. Your just a nasty loser.
So what's new . The global slow down has been going on for awhile now. Time to rehash old headlines to scare people again.
What has the new republican congress done since being put in power. Norris also said they would coming riding in on their white stallions from day 1 and save America!
However, the comments by Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, show no indication of a shift in the country's policy of refusing to cut supplies to prop up crude prices, some OPEC delegates said.
"They seem like just general talk about cooperation, but nothing about cutting production," said one OPEC source.
"It's always good to say discussions were positive and productive. Never say they were negative. The issue is not with Venezuela, it is with Iran," said another OPEC source.
Sources familiar with the matter say Iran is reluctant to restrain crude supply as it wants to recover the market share it lost during sanctions that were imposed in 2012 because of its nuclear program. International sanctions were lifted in January.
Here is something to make you wonder about how low NG can go. They probably don't need to sell those shares since they were given to them as options. Plus why look to obvious all at once by taking the cash and then cashing in shares as well.
As U.S. natural gas prices collapse to 1990s-era lows, producers in four shale plays are cutting their losses.
Surging output has sent gas futures tumbling, forcing drillers to abandon marginal plays in favor of more profitable areas. Drilling has ground to a halt in two gas basins in Oklahoma, along with the Fayetteville reservoir in Arkansas and the Niobrara formation in Colorado and Wyoming, data from Baker Hughes Inc. show.

Even as U.S. gas rigs drop to the lowest on record, there’s still no sign of declining production -- at least, not yet. Output from shale formations has left stockpiles at a seasonal record as a mild winter curtails demand, expanding a supply glut that’s threatening to keep prices depressed into the second half of the year.
“The decline in rigs is really accelerating, especially in some of these marginal plays where prices aren’t high enough to justify production," said John Kilduff, a partner at Again Capital LLC in New York. “Drilling is still profitable in other areas, though, so it may be a while before a recovery really takes hold.”
The only other job they need is busting rocks In the hot sun. Along with you and your lack of common sense.
Whatever my stalkers appear to have left and they were the main bad apples. As LINN dropped it appears their heckling has disappeared. Or they are planning a full frontal assault. It doesn't matter phill you are nothing anyway,
Maybe you would screw others as you self noted but myself I couldn't stand myself if I did what these dirt balls did to honest retired investors or any investor. It is that type of thinking as yours is what is wrong with corporate America.
They aren't smarter Mr. They are crooks with NO conscience and we are honest. Big difference buddy.
. is the economic acceleration from reduce gasoline cost.
Could it be that people are paying down bills or socking that extra cash away. With all the savings where are the wealthy or corporations that do the hiring. Why isn't our government using cash for infrastructure rebuilding. Could it be that congress keeps blocking the infrastructure bill?
Why have airfares gone up when jet fuel has gone down so much.
Walmart built stores in the wrong places just to force their big box syndrome on small communities putting the mom and pop stores out of business. Now they are failing and closing down. It is called bad planning and congress is to blame.
I had no idea that SA put a bounty out on LINN to put them out of business. They actually said LINN's name or Rockov was exaggerating as he always did/
I would dare say the banks knew that they took the cash till after the fact. Plus it was LINN's loan money anyway to do as they see fit.
Hey they still have the 1.5 billion parachute from those other 2 supposed loans. You think those companies would still give LINN that money?
You are right he is a bad man. He led all his sheeples down the path of wreckless abandonment.
I like the part about retaining key leadership and our talented employees. While we give out cash incentive awards especially to Mr Ellis. Yeah ok right, Empty the vault we deserve. He didn't get the number 1 worse CEO for the year of 2015 for nothing.
