If you bought calls out of the money and they don't file the 10k before the market closes tomorrow you will lose all of your investment because I believe they will sell this off.. I was just stating that weekly options expire tomorrow at the close (4pm) and not at 7 pm
Nope.. Options expire at the close of the market which is 4 pm not 7. Once the market closes at 4 the options that are not in the money become worthless. So Valeant has to file before market opens. I doubt they will do it while the market is trading. So option traders will be in trouble, especially if they own calls if this 10k is not filed by the opening
This stock spikes very easily due to a small float available to trade. Most institutions holding until at least $100... So that leaves only a small portion of the float traceable below that price.. Jmho
Huge gamble but I think I am on the right side. We will see
we will see
it is funds selling their own shares and then using the price drop to sell puts and add more when they shut the computers down. Fortunes are made that way
this will rocket north on any volume increase
now it is just robotic trading trying to get your shares.
they also do this to sell more puts to cover their losses and then buy shares and calls when the price goes down. It all should be illegal but the SEC will never do anything about it.
robots using algorithms... Just the way trading is now. Selling small lots again and again at the bid to shave off the price so they can get in lower. This is how big funds trade to get shares cheaper. When there is low volume that is what they do.
the robotic trading knows how to do it
