the price went down because large players exited by selling and not too many came in to short because the price fell so quickly. He expects $100 by next week. He also said there may be takeover talks with a number of companies. He says that is just talk around the street but it makes sense. This is all speculation though..
Anyone? Seems logical..
Na... Didn't do anything before. I wish it will but this stock is in a lot of trouble.. When the Nasdaq goes up almost 100 pts and this finishes in the red is not a good sign. I don't know what is wrong but it doesn't seem good, imo. I hope BABA turns it around soon. all, jmho
Hey bio... Is there anyone out there that may take over CELG now that it has pulled back a good amount? Just wondering your thoughts on that.. tia
It is all rumors.. CBS stock has been very strong and NFLX is rising with great power! Hulu deal probably opened up this possibility. We only discuss things that may happen here on the board. NFLX doesn't rally 20 percent on nothing. CBS is looking really good going forward. Watch and see. Some sort of deal is coming.
CBS stock held up after all that sell-off.. Something is being figured behind the scenes.. Would be a good match.
NFLX is back on its radar.. That is why NFLX is running and BABA selling off... $70 billion is a good chunk of change to come up with. New stock to be issued, imo.
I didn't believe it but it looks as if nothing will help this stock back over $85.. We are lost for a while here. I just don't know any news pending that will move this up very much
Nasdaq taking next leg up and NFLX going down. I think the big buying is over until tomorrow. jmho
Apple has yet to make a big acquisition in its history. $60-$80 billion would be tough for them to part with. I don't know if they would be interested in spending that much.
I hold NFLX calls.. I am telling you there 3rd day calls from the brokers..That will begin tomorrow.
Question is??? Is there news in the pipeline that will move this. There is a reason for a 20% move.
Maybe with the smaller retail investors but not the major players. Anyways, only 10% of the trades could be considered short covering..... If it were any more this would spike over $130.. It is not that easy to cover a short position when you are short a million shares.. It just doesn't work that way.
