One day? Is that your range? You are right, anything over three hours is very-long term investment. I am sure your butterfly wings are pretty.
Longf,
I am afraid your are misunderstanding AKA-NZ.
He is all for AMRN. He also wants a prescription. Unfortunately, the cardiologists are reluctant to prescribe Vascepa off-label. This may also lead to lower-than-expected sales before the approval of the Anchor indication (assuming the expectations included off-label use for the under-500 folks). This is a genuine concern, not bashing.
I kind of agree with you, but your timing may be off.
I fear we will see worse than today.
Hard to pick a bottom, but I think this is not it.
Buona sera,
I disagree. I am feeling like croesus does, and I am optimistic for the long run. We both fear this is going to get worse before it gets better, that's all.
I am patient, but I am not having fun.
This particular lupo has a hard time crepare...
Have you exited at 7.50? Will you be buying back cheaper, trying to guess the bottom? Good luck to you either way.
I am holding.
Just a bit of rambling: when Anchor is no longer off-label, the cardiologists will have a change of heart and the under-500 crowd (lead by their Bay-area champion AKA-NZ, AKA-the-Builder) fill finally get their long-overdue prescriptions. When that happens, the current shוt will be history.
Indeed, such an agreement was mentioned at one point.
However, JZ has recently stated (if I recall correctly, it was during the latest CC) that the above information was not true.
That said, nothing should be concluded from these numbers, be they accurate or not, other than patience is your friend.
Doc, I am also unable to use your reply button.
Good post, thanks, and good luck.
P.S.: Do you mean that psychiatrists may have mental health issues? What's next - barefoot shoemakers?
I am moving to Bermuda!
I prefer THAT kind of shorts.
Bos: good post, thanks.
Oh, and one last word on this. It seems that many (most???) tickers tend to go the wrong way (DOWN) immediately after FDA approval, which is counter-intuitive, but (sadly) true.
Just to pay back with another heads-up...
Kaitlyn,
Everyone has misunderstood your post. Everyone thinks you are talking about Amarin.
I guess you should have wanted to title your post like this: "OT: Sucampo (SCMP)". I know you said "April 26th pdufa for SCMP", but it looks like everybody just skipped that part. Apparently, careful reading is not "in".
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up. I am not going to invest in that one right now because I don't have the time for a thorough DD. However, I certainly wish you good luck with the PDUFA, good sales, and solid profits.
Thank you ZooBuffDoc, RobJoseph, G.B.Pshaw. Happy Easter and Passover to all, may there be both peace and lift-off!
You wrote: "poorly educated, disrespectful, and close minded young adults, with limited futures, and dysfunctional behavior".
This reminds me of the goldfish' vent: "why does no-one ever wish for a good book instead of that effing palace or red sports car?"
Oh, today is actually Friday, so yes, you did mean "tomorrow" (today). I am always mixing it up (our work week is Sunday-to-Thursday).
Wildly O.T.: Obama is here. Half of the streets in Jerusalem are closed off. I don't know much about the political outcome of the visit, only that the women are envying y'all for your "handsome President".
You missed one of the BS points in the original post:: "the drug is not significantly better ", said the ignorant poster.
Golong, I guess you mean next Monday.
Yes, with the current trend, it will go below 7.50 next week. If you "must" sell, you may just as well do it at 7.68, before it hits 7.50. Good for you for being in the green.
I also think things will get worse before they get better. However, I am still confident they will get much better eventually.
Regarding your valuation, you are not taking into account several future milestones, such as Anchor and transition to Tier 2, to name just a few. Management has consistently delivered so far.
I am sorry to see you go, but taking a profit is never bad, and one has to act upon one's convictions. I will miss your sharp darts and colorful vocabulary. Please drop by once in a while to say hello or eff-you (I am joking, I know you are not THAT blunt).
Good luck!
Just FYI, Express Scripts/Medco has it at tier 2. Others to follow soon. BTW, it is highly uncommon for a new drug to find its way to tier 2 so fast, Vascepa has probably set a record.
Rami,
I am sorry about all that. I hope things do turn around. Even though I am out, I am rooting for them.
The Galilee could use a successful billion-dollar bio company putting bread and butter on many family tables. Iscar alone is not enough for the economy of that area. Imagine the employment opportunities for people living in places such as Acco (Accre), Tzfat (Safed), Nazareth, Sachnin, Rama, and so on...
What I am trying to say is, I am rooting for the company, but for reasons infinitely more important than the share price. The profit made by the investors would be just an added bonus.
If you sell at 7.50, I hope (for your sake) that it goes low enough for you to buy back. You will want to be in when it pops.
Jakey - indeed, the U.S. trials are going to start with Phase II (following the Phase I results in the Israeli trial). For example, see this: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/phase-ii-als-clinical-trial-120000547.html
Good luck!
