  • Well unfortunately the smart knowledgeable contributors are very quiet these days as they like us not so smart readers have been made to look a little follish by our beloved CYTX and of course we are all waiting for something to actually write about!!!. So it feels really good that you show up and remind us THANKS FOR THAT...In the meantime I might suggest that if you really want to be shown the way you adopt a less condescending attitude. Have a great day and good luck with your investment.

Roth, interesting thoughts, I guess a BO is not impossible might even have played a part in the CC saga....It's funny how everybody puts the decline down to a market correction yet the prolific gains over the last year were never enjoyed by CYTX...Bottom line imo Marc needs to deliver before he starts to rebuild some respect from the market. Worst case scenario is bad news or delays on barda if this happens I can kiss my warrants bye bye. Should be buying at these levels but I have lost a little faith that 2014 is going to be anymore rewarding than recent years. The same people continue to clean up with this one...my hopes are that the technology and eventual demand rewards the patient.

Chuck just one id anymore I have better things to do. CYTXER has the right to his opinion time will tell the outcome. Let us have our opinion, if you disagree that's fine but please just stop trying to own a YMB that has no purpose other than opinions and diluted information shared by the willing.

Chuck, way off base I get a replacement but this is not a long term solution. My guess is he was getting some heat also, they are like the bobsy twins partners in crime he just got a stay of execution maybe they are setting him up for failure so then it will be all bets are off as to who owns this technology two years from now.WHO CANNED HIM AND WHAT WAS THE MOTIVE SHOULD BE THE QUESTION???

I agree with much you say, we are not privy to much that has gone on so is it one specific reason or several over time, is somebody positioning themselves for a hoist of the technology??? Maybe it proves to be a good move only time will tell but one thing I am sure of Mr H is not the man for the job in the long term that is called the frying pan into the fire. Unfortunately Chris has been promising the partnership with big pharma since 2009 and has never delivered, I am very surprised he was asked to leave (that is a fact) so who pulls the strings now ? Again time will tell,.
The market will not respond in a positive manner without a replacement that has a proven track record, will that happen??? I can not imagine the major shareholders would be content leaving as is with H in charge, they will most certainly want to influence the direction of this company.
So for now we are in limbo, on a general market retrace that will certainly include cytx, expect little good news for a while I am starting to get a little nervous about all them warrants sitting there that will shortly be worth nothing if we don't see a turnaround.
On a sidenote I love the thumbs down from chuckie a sense of achievement kinda like taking that first morning #$%P... GLTA even the moron with ten ids. Lets see if we can get this to 30 thumbs down, I wonder who would make the most noise if a buyout at $5 happens LOL be careful what you ask for!!!

Disagree, so now we have a doctor in charge ARE YOU KIDDING?????
Better hope for a replacement with a track record before you see anything but a slide.
Just an opinion hope I am wrong.
I will give them 60 days before we hear about some new blood, dont be surprised if we get something negative soon, if he was asked to step down why now????

Well time will tell but strange timing imo... Also if I had to choose between H & C for ceo I would have stuck with C...This I hope is very temporary until they bring in a suitable replacement that will shake it up in La Jolla. They do say be careful what you ask for!!!! I am curious what the last straw was??? It's logical Mr C would have wanted to be a part of the good news that changed the fortunes indefinately, maybe they are further away than we hoped for. The market will give no more support to Mr H he is part of the same shortlist that have failed to deliver. Overall I reserve judgement until we see some new blood that has a track record.

  • They are out of options unless a BO or cash infusion.

    If CYTX drops to $2.50...

hhh here is how it works on this MB..We have one poster who has several dozen ids who thumbs down every post regardless of it,s contribution but more because he does not like what's written. This person is the only one allowed to write anything negative it"s his given right to slam anybody else else and there opinion or even view. So my suggestion is to ignore them as it is a battle you just cannot win unless you have all day every day to sit and post responses like they do.
GL in your trading but try not to kick the injured when they are down.

If you have been here a while you are used to the under delivery method of doing business, these guys have certainly created much frustration among the lowly retail investors. However, the 4th qtr has the potential to set a new trend, IF the Lorem deal came with immediate sales and IF the latest rulings in Japan have created some sales interest we should have hit the number or possibly even beat it. In the big picture we are still a way's from 10x our wildest dreams in fact 1x is probably years away.
We still need the two main ingrediants that will satisfy WS that they are on point with the business model and of course their CEO is capable of driving this to the finish line. SALES and a major PARTNERSHIP with a big pharma that would add clout and validity to the whole setup. While the Lorem deal is very good it does not bring what a big pharma does. These guys have had interest but either the big boys dont see the value or it does not match with their business model or the ask is just no where near the bid. Who knows ???? maybe they are silly enough to think they can do it alone.
Tuesday should answer some questions, but expect little and be content or expect much and feel the need for a blunt razorblade.

    How High on BARDA?

While a negative the way CC described the qtr I would agree with hedge that the number was not met but shipments were good. He has never over delivered in all the years I have owned so my guess is qtr 4 was no different. Does not mean good things are not on there way just that AGAIN cc was wrong with his forcast.
No way to predict the value this year but there certainly are several events that could start a sustained move in the right direction, it's all moving very slowly.

I am with you on this, have been since the first offering, the fact is that by subscribing to the offering you are thinking about selling some shares with small gains not long after. This worked in the past but sooner or later it might not. More importantly you are supporting an almost BK company that has never even addressed it's shareholders about a recall that has the potential to eliminate any shareholder value. Sorry but these guys have the time to take care of their paychecks and of course you can bet the major shareholders know exactly what's going on yet RETAIL investors get zero never have never will.
So the only saving grace is the big money is still in the game, but their patience has to be tested at the moment after all they have a few bucks tied up as well but then they also have 12% returns etc on short term loans.
My choice is to sit tight, no more of my cash goes into their pockets.
I wonder how much W&L have actually recieved in interest on the loans they have extended, wonder how that compares to the overall investment they have. Wonder if we wake up one day to a .75 gone private or sell off.
Only time will tell, almost wrote it off at this stage but not gonna sell a share until it unfolds. qtr 4 sales will be in the tank, cash on hand the same, the outlook is very grim indeed, if it was a DOG would you put it down???
    Excuse the pun
