    BAX and BXLTquestion about dividend

Sure does. It's not just a haircut it's scalping.

Doesn't take a genius to figure it out watching the Wisconsin economic numbers going south. Surprising the analists in New York can't figure it out, maybe they should hire a college grad, eh, Wisconsin? Revenue fell 5% year to year, residential down 5% and commerical/industrial usage down 1.4%.
Excuse me, I'm feel a dire need to return to my pillow to laugh in it at WEC investors.

  • 83 full time staffers of the UW two year campus system are now unemployed. No faculty, just staff. Frankly, this haircut is long over due. There are more library administrators in the two year system than books in the tiny, seldom used libraries.
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"

  • Both Bureau of Labor Statistics (Feds) and Dept of Workforce Development (State) have figured out between April and June Wisconsin's construction jobs declined 6,300. This is the largest drop in number and percentage in the history of employment number collecting in the state. Experts are stating quietly amongst themselves there's structural problems in Wisconsin, i.e.economy isn't diversified, manufacturing jobs leaving for other states and countries, little technology or resource extraction, and a declining education and infrastructure system with record high state and local bond debt.

    TEG-WEC merger and Computershare

Welcome to the wonderful world of Computershare. For you investment virgins out there, Computershare is known for screw ups and their "improved" dividend reinvestment plans (i.e. fees). Did you notice it took almost two weeks from the merger date to getting the shares into your Computershare account? Did you try contacting WE Energy investor relations? Forget e-mail, you have to go through the Milwaukee phone book or snail mail. WE Energy is still figuring out this technology thing. As Klapp finds he needs big bucks to correct his mistake of refurbishing ancient, global warming coal plants you can anticipate the DRIP will go to fees.

  • Scotty has handed 57 DNR professional staff pink slips. Under the rules permanent staff can't be fired unless limited term employees are fired. too. Scotty didn't know that, Scotty doesn't know a lot of things college grads know.
The DNR is finally getting around to Scotty's failed Iron County taconite mine. Seems his buddies owe the state $18,000 and still have not capped their bore holes. Noting is said about the tens of thousands in IOUs the company made to Iron County.
Might as well fire the DNR dealing with this billion and half dollar non-existent iron mine, Scotty. The mine was just a fantasy in a long line of fantasies.
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?" Hey, tomorrow, let's have fun and ask Scotty where all those Wisconsin construction jobs have gone to!

  • Obama would want him to serve a less of a sentence because his crimes were non-violent. Of course, Cosby's a bro, so Obama won't ask him to return his Presidential Medal of Freedom.

  • Associated Bank is closing 6 Wisconsin branches in addition to their previous closure plan. Gee, you think the lousy Wisconsin economy might have a part in it? What's that? In Minnesota the bank is just consolidating two branches because of their proximity to each other. Damn, that Farm-Labor governor in Minnesota where business is ranked number one in the country.
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"
Tomorrow we'll turn things over at Wisconsin Job Loss Today to Scotty and let him hand out some pink slips.

  • The whole point for citizens to have military weapons is too use them according to the NRA. So the Muslim extremists are doing just that. You think Isis would have the decency to send the NRA a Ramadan card.

  • National Ace in Milwaukee announced on facebook they were closing as Walker yapped about his success. In business for 65 years they just couldn't make it shelling out high state taxes to support Walker's doling out hundreds of millions in WEDC corruption.
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"

  • Strategic Fundraising locked it's doors leaving over a hundred employees going what happened. Now the employees are suing they're out of 60 days of pay and benefits like vacation time. The Republican Party was the company's number one client.
And you thought the rumbling, bumbling, stumbling of the Republicans ended with Jerry Ford, legendary for falling down. His wife fell down a lot too, dead drunk falling down. lol
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"

  • Unadjusted figures show the week ending July 4 Wisconsin had 8,085 new unemployment claims, the previous week it was 6.,857, for an increase of 1,228. In Minnesota, recently ranked number 1 in the country for business, initial claims were 3,561 less than half of its sister state, Wisconsin. New claims were up only 485. Damn Minnesota for its full time, college grad Farm/Labor governor and Far,/Labor controlled legislature.
Look for WE Energy to be light in revenue again this quarter, forget any sign of revenue growth, too.
All together now, "Scott Walker, were are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"

  • 1. He's experienced in drugs
    2. He's unemployed so he's available
    3. He'll fill minority hiring regulations

  • Guess the board hasn't gotten around to the press release. Somebody should tell Bill to pull his pants up before the photo op.

Very interesting. Thanks for posting it.

  • All those high paying iron mining jobs you rigged back the environmental laws to bring into Iron County. Oh, yeah, the company sent Iron County an IOU as they couldn't pay the county lease and then shut down a month later. Yeah, Scotty, where those jobs and the electrical power hungry mine? What, not there! Another lie from you from your arrogant, incompetent yammer! Look forward collecting on the IOU Iron County, the rest of the state is replacing the derogatory word for Polish people with Iron County resident in their jokes.
All together now, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"
Hey, let's ask Scotty and Klappa where those power demanding data centers are tomorrow. Oh, will the mirth ever end?

  • Looks like Scooter isn't getting the job done. Here's a employment hint, hire college grads for executive positions. lol
Early in June, Kansas City’s Kauffmann Foundation released its 2015 index of startup activity. The news was not good for this state. Wisconsin fell to last place: 50th among the states, from 45th last year. The Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis metropolitan area was 39th of the 40 largest cities, the same as last year.
It is tempting to blame the Walker administration for Wisconsin’s lagging entrepreneurial record. The lack of entrepreneurial dynamism stem in part from a backward-looking state business culture while Walker is giving away tens of millions in corporate welfare and reducing quality of life in education, recreation and infrastructure. The result is the continuation of a long-lagging record in creating new businesses.

    BAX/BXLT Cost Basis?

Your cost is simply half of what you paid for your Baxter shares prior to the spin off. 100 BAX shares bought at $60 totals $6,000. $3,000 applies to the 100 BAX shares and $3,000 to the 100 BXLT shares you own after the spin off.

Doing their part to break Walker's layoff record AnchorBank is cutting 101 positions in the next 3 months. Six branches will be closing. Gee, looks like Challenger, Grey and Christmas called it right, Wisconsin's financial institutions would be cutting jobs and expect state tax revenue projections to be overly optimistic. They're predicting more state job cuts will be needed.
Let's be loud, we have to be heard over the roar from Bernie's crowd at the Coliseum, "Scott Walker, where are you and the 250,000 jobs you promised?"

  • Then we don't have to deal with breaking news items disrupting our news broadcasts. Let's get back to real news that matters like the Greek debt crisis.
