So If I meet my goal of having 100k shares of GALE at a true acquisition price of 1.2 per share then it will have to fall to 1.2 for a break even. It isn't going to happen. GALE will be a lot higher than 6 by the time NEUVAX passes/fails. And I will be a lot wealthier.
I am a PCRX long holder. It explains my thesis of investing perfectly. Once it got approved and sales were going it never slowed. I unfortunately took profit at 30 (I took position at 6-7) Then I retook position at 40. His point is look at meager sales of being out there for over 1 yr and look at what the market values. ACRX should have 1 billion upon approval and similar sales. It is a model for ACRX as they hold all rights to their products. That is the value.
They just have a different opinion of how wealth is acquired. I am not opposed to fast cash but doing it for a living is a hard life. Once you get wealthy things change. 15-20 is reasonable. One fast cash trade is INO it dropped back to 1.90
I Hold tons of GALE from under 3. Yes it sold back a little but I keep adding with trading shares before you know it I have my cost shares and a whole lot of free shares. Of course I believe in the prospects longer term than 1 day. I think GALE will be at 6 and by then I will probably hold close to 100k shares of it. My cost will be my initial investment of about 120k. Today I traded it and made a few k shares.
I am one who holds a large core and trades about 10-20k (it varies how high we go). I use the trading shares to gradually add to my core. I don't think a buyout is in the works as it would need an approved product in my estimation. However a partnership could/would spike and draw additional players here that wouldn't allow the game. Once a partnership is announced we move higher as it justifies the company. Could be a while so sit back and hopefully add and take advantage of the game.
Jeesh it is almost like they expect to sell some exparel.
Some days I have clam chowder from this place down the road and ACRX tends to do really well on those days. I have made some clams recently on INSY so I may treat myself to a bowl at lunch. I picked up a gale force wind today at 3.85.
Seriously cheap. A bunch of products, walgreens, fda approval, dilution out of the way. all for 30mil? I'll take a flyer on that.
I have always said that about zalviso. The fact that you cannot kill someone is a major benefit. Doctors like that.
Thanks I hadn't heard that. Nice to see they were on the offense yesterday. It appears ACRX is ready for battle and has superior weaponry.
The best motivation for a hospital to make change is money. I think Zalviso offers value.
That initial lease expiration of PCA machines then the long term savings/reimbursements from patient satisfaction could allow for faster change.
