$50 will be the bottom in 2014.
i'm looking forward to that $10 jump before 1/1/2014.
yo tsar; that story has been around for over 2 years. what's happened since it first came out?
i did a yahoo search on it and there doesn't seem to have been much said about it since then.
tens of millions had NO health insurance
thousands died each year due to having no health insurance.
they didn't die because they didn't have health insurance; they died because they didn't have HEALTHCARE!!!
if the gov't wants to take care of the those thousands that are dying, let the gov't provide the HEALTHCARE and stay out of the HEALTH INSURANCE business!!!!
"screwed", do me a favor; click on your name and review the many msgs you've posted here and on other boards.
i would be willing to listen (sympathetically) to your health & political concerns on many matters if i were on boards committed to those subjects.
but do you think on an investment msg board, you're really going to get responses to a subject of your own concern when those concerns really don't have much to do with the investment concerns of some (if not most) of the people on this board?
"and ted cruz was a finalist for the lie of the year"
that's right as were two other republicans. so how about a round of applause for the one democrat who managed to "OUT LIE" them - barack obama.
his "talent" was obviously greater than their's.
"Obamacare as it appears now is NOT the answer"
as a matter of fact, i was mistaken when i said it was awarded by "several groups" when i should have state the award was given by "POLITIFACT" and then reported by several news organizations, liberal & conservative.
so, to be fair allow me to post a story from another source about POLITIFACT.
"Since the inception of the “Lie of the Year” award in 2009, 4 of the 5 winners have been lies concerning healthcare. In 2009, Sarah Palin received the award for her claim that the ACA contained “death panels.” In 2010, the lie of the year went to the GOP for claiming that the government was “taking over” healthcare with the ACA. In 2011, the Democrats took the top spot for stating that Paul Ryan’s proposed healthcare plan would “end Medicare.” Not to be outdone, however, the Republicans took the top spot again last year with Mitt Romney’s commercial stating that Obama was forcing Jeep to outsource to China due to his policies.
This year alone, all 4 finalists for the award dealt with the issue of healthcare. The runner-up for Lie of the Year was Ted Cruz’s claim that Congress was exempt from the ACA. The other two finalists were Michele Bachmann for claiming that the IRS would be in charge of keeping healthcare records and Ann Coulter for saying that doctors wouldn't......"
so, don't be so quick to criticize a source that certainly seems to be "fair & balanced" when making that award.
how about giving obama "credit" for having beaten, not one, but three conservatives for the the "prize".
"The "biologic" levels are more affordable but have $20,000 annual deductibles--but at least will keep you in compliance with the law!"
serious question richard: do you think the people that would choose the cheapest plans (biologic) would really be able to afford the first $20,000 of annual deductibles.?
i'm all for providing health care for the "truly" indigent, but i seriously doubt any of those plans are going to accomplish the sought-after goal.
i'll make it short.
why does your msg leave out the word "PERIOD" that obama used?
it came right after the words:
"if you like your health insurance, you can keep it".
is the word "PERIOD" insignificant to you?
i won't even mention the FACT that obama's statement has been AWARDED the prize of LIE OF THE YEAR" by several groups.
isn't it obvious to you that no one (NO ONE) cares about what you're doing with jcp or whatever?
they care less about what you're doing than what i'm doing. it's a new day and the only reason i'm posting this msg to you is to make it obvious.
it's especially obvious that no one cares about you because the only reason you post is to post about YOURSELF!!!!
you're out of pfe, so why don't you spend your time on the boards of the stocks in which you're involved?
or are you afraid that your reception on those boards will be as unfavorable on those as your participation on every other board on which you've participated?
