This is the 59% owner with 22+ million shares. With, per yahoofinance, a 40% short interest, it is possible shares were sold at higher prices that could be bought/'fed' by a secondary or lock-up expiration.
The company is a winner! There is one way for the stock to go and that's up...EVENTUALLY. They have the entire US to expand via company owned and franchised territories plus menu additions, growth can be guided geometrically over the next several years. My concern is the potential stock overhang. Should there be a secondary or announced lockup expiration...I will mortgage the house and load up! Until then one runs the risk of a quick two - three point drop and one month hold while additional stock is closed (plus 30 day underwriter extension).
Yes, I do believe in conspiracies in/on Wall Street after 50 years of Stocking!
I had a truly good exchange with a gentleman from the WSJ complimenting him on his positive evaluation of Subaru/Fuji Heavey.
This is really a sleeper (13,000 average daily vol) and I intend to speak with my account holder, Fidelity, about buying on the Japanese exchange if possible. If I learn anything of interest, I'll post it for you. take care.
I really know little about successful vs dud ads; but, I do know that Subaru via Fuji Heavy is one hell of a great car. The bells and whistles along with tech advancements are as good and mostly superior to any other car on the road. Glad that there's another living person on this board beside me. Take care.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Then again, sales are up 26% the past year over year. I drive an outback and appreciate the safety of the car and like it better than the jerk-off young girls speeding while rapping and either giddy-chicks or high on some artificial substance. Then again opinions are like #$%$, everyone has one. Maybe you should post on Elle and not a finance board. later.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Fortunately I wrote a vertical bull spread leap during the low of the day providing 11 months for the stock price to remain at this level or above to make lots of monkeys er, I mean money.
Should that happen...LVS and WYNN would shuttle all the WHALES back to Las Vegas to the two most recognizable properties in China...and the world, for that matter. Why I'm answering an idiot only demonstrates how much I must need a life...'cause you're nuts!!!!!!!!!!
Trusting you have a direct link to the spirit above...I also went long on this dip. Unfortunately, it appears someone, somehow, somewhere has information we do not and is selling heavily in anticipation of earnings and conference discussion. LOL This company and its stock seems undervalued...but....
Don't let the Bas(terd)hers scare you. "Dr. Peter Hill, Midstates’ Interim CEO commented, “Our highly successful drilling program in our premier Miss Lime acreage continued to yield strong results in the fourth quarter. Our knowledge of the play has continued to be refined and our operational achievements over the year demonstrate our value improvement. Our asset base provides us with a solid platform for value growth into the future, and even in the current WTI strip price environment, we are generating approximately 20% rates of return, on average, from our Miss Lime wells.”
Liars use 'commission' and, as our friends on the board use, 'omission' by providing a one sided set of facts.
Hang in there longs. Hiring Evacore to explore alternatives is GOOD news!
GO A HEAD AND SHORT! Make my day!
Did feathers fly when you pulled that number out of your behind? I choose to buy when it goes below 10!: unfortunately, there's a market. Just grab the feathers, stuff 'em back, and Short NOV, genius!
Well...as usual, something has leeked (spelled correctly) and it doesn't look good for us longs. If it's not the earnings, it's an NOV repeat...lousy prognostication going into next fiscal year. BUT SOMEONE HAS THE INFO before the rest of us succors!
