Rahaj you idiot - don't you realize nearly everyone have you on ignore? I turned it off to see if you had gone away - but here you are. Back to ignore.
Sure. My prediction is that you will be dead and buried before that happens. And I don't even know your age.
Sincere comment here: I subscribe to a financial newsletter that is advising everyone to stay away from the current gold rally. Says everyone who joins now will have their heads handed to them. The recommendation they gave was to wait until may to buy into gold. Again, this is not advice, just stating what the newsletter says - and urging you to look into it. BTW, the author does believe gold will start / resume long term rally in May.
The paint IS drying. The pot IS boiling. But agree... it sure seems like it's taking forever.
There are many catalysts in 2014. No doubt, acceleration of sales in the US is the most important, but is FAR from being the only one - as many would have you believe.
If you can double of triple your money from here before year end somewhere else, then you should consider changing. But this is the best risk-reward scenario on MY board. The drug IS approved. The drug IS effective. The are OTHER markets. We have an ENVIABLE pipeline with interim progress to be reported.
All this in 2014. This is where you put your PATIENT money. Best of luck.
I agree that $55 is a stretch, but mainly because we rarely see such premiums over current price. The value of Arena's pipeline, it's Intellectual Property, and it's patents - including a patented technology to target GPCR specific receptors with high accuracy IS actually worth 8-10B to big pharma. And that's NOT counting Belviq. Yes, that is a rough estimate, but that is the general perception of what it would take for BP to build out the pipeline we have and the patents. MHO.
My perception is that if we do get a buy out offer, a bidding war would ensue. I would not be selling right away.
Ok, just to be precise, Brazil is bigger than the lower 48. But the US wins when you add Alaska.
What's important about Brazil is not its physical size, but that it's the 6th largest economy in the world and millions of folks who are overweight - in a society much more concerned with physical appearance. It will be a good market for Belviq.
I think your question is... If one shorts 1,000 shares at $10 and the stock splits 2:1 what happens? I believe you become short 2,000 shares at $5. It's actually bad news for the shorts as generally stocks goes up 10 to 15% after announcing a split. Don't ask me about the logic behind it. It just happens.
Thanks SP - a well balanced, objective assessment. I presume many of the fanatic longs only want to hear the good side and the shorties the down side.
You might be Tele if... you are in everyone's ignore list, and are too stupid to know it.
Right, and the flaw is "AF is the expert". Whereas I agree with your logic, I don't understand why aren't more people questioning his "opinions". He has NO SCIENTIFIC background, has been more wrong than right for a while, and yet is considered an "expert". Herd mentality, where no one questions the wisdom of the lead cow.... we are PEOPLE, not cows.
Congrats - you get the badge for "moron of the day". Don't worry, a new one tomorrow will eplace you.
