This company is a fraud. There's no investors. They wiped out all common shares a few years ago just like that. I hope they go bankrupt after merging.
They wanted all the profit. Why didn't they do that? Because FnF were in this business for decades and they had created all the necessary infrastructure in this business. Government can't simply use FnF expertise in the field and don't return any money to them.
I'm not saying the government should not get any money. What I'm saying is that shareholders should receive a portion of the profits, because of FnF established infrastructure.
I have a delta neutral position on CLF at the moment. So I'm neither long nor short.
But I think people who follow analysts upgrades and downgrades in their trades are simply dumb. It looks like Credit Suisse is trying to lower down their cost basis on CLF by downgrading the stock.
Hopefully, volatility in CLF drops so that I can close my position on CLF soon.
Yes, it does, but it is not easy. If buy and hold were as easy as it sounds, everyone would be doing that instead of chasing momentum stocks. You may lose all your hair, when holding CLF, RIG, FNMA, and other undervalues stocks, but at the end the reward is so high that you can get retired early.
As much as I love hearing him taking about relisting them on NYSE, I know it's the last thing he think about when it comes to these companies.
Just covered it again. Looking forward to seeing more upgrades and new opportunities. Thank you for cooperation and staying long.
As I've mentioned it before, in normal days ANGI goes down. However, after a while and usually when the whole market is down, ANGI has some sort of fake positive news such as analysts upgrades, or the recent job creations that takes the price high by a few percent. Then once things get back to the normal, it starts dropping as it should. I cannot prove it, but this stock's moves are really fishy. If you want to make money off of ANGI, you should short it on any rally.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I will use that money to short GoPro if I can borrow any shares. I'm thinking about buying a house in bay area, that's why I need to find the next fnf and invest my money on it to be able to buy a nice house.
I'm not too sure if there was any positive news on FnF today for the price to go high t. Because of the extreme low price, I guess one of the big guys took advantage of this golden opportunity and loaded a lot of stocks. I guess it was Bill Ackman who loaded more, because he can totally average down. Personally I wish Warren Buffet was the man who loaded today. Once he's in, we are going to win for sure.
I've already taken away your money when ANGI was around $15. I noticed once in a while ANGI has some sort of upgrade or a useless GOOD news, where the stocks jumps for a few days and then starts going down over time. That's why I had covered my short positions last month. I was waiting for this jump to short more. This time I will cover below $5 :)
You sound like someone who's been trading for a while and has seen all the ups and downs.
Thanks for the info. I hope there will be more shares available to short soon in normal market hours. Meanwhile let's hope the stock rallies back to $40+ so that we can short it again when there are shares available to short.
Please don't read this message if you're long LOCO.
Last week I was able to short LOCO at $37.81. I covered it a $33.76 the other day. Today I tried to short it again at $38.90, but TD Ameritrade rejected my order, saying there's no shares to short. Did anyone else experience the same problem?
