theflyonthewall: Walter Energy Q1 preannouncement in-line, says Brean Capital
Brean Capital said Walter energy's preannouncement yesterday was in-line with their estimates and expects Q1 results to be in-line as well. However, the firm noted the company took a LCM charge in Q4 which has the effect of lowering cost of sales in future quarters and believes the improvement in cost of sales was likely due to this charge. Shares are Hold rated. -

by fastmoneypete •Mar 26, 2013 11:29 AMNo matter, it looks like investors are spraying their call buying ACROSS the board, specifically 8, 9, and 10 contracts in May, July, and October 2013 in a big way.
Something is definitely up here - which makes it highly suspect given the lack of news or events to account for this action. -
