For all we know TG and the boys went on a junket to Switzerland. They could have at least shown shareholders the courtesy of a press release to mitigate market uncertainty. I guess we'll be under 7 in no time.
The dump always comes in the afternoon, without fail. Don't even bother looking at the pps till about 2:30 or 3:00 EST.
The question is not if Apple is going sapphire. The question is do we stand to profit considerably, or do we become Apple's indentured servant.
Are you considering applying for one of these positions? They likely pay well and you would have inside first hand info on how the Apple ramp up is shaping out.
Does GS and JP really have any skin in the game? Or is it like a bank providing financing where they will make money no matter what happens? Someone care to explain.
It would be if it were profits we were talking about. Sooner or later they have to show they are making money, not just the potential to make money.
This is one question where I have seen a wide range of answers. Some comparing Apple to Wal-Mart, whose business model is built on squeezing suppliers, and others claiming billions in untold riches are awaiting GTAT. So what is Apple's recent history with other suppliers in term of margins and profitability? I have yet to hear a thorough answer to this question. Does anyone on the board want to weigh in?
Then why has stock risen 300% from its lows? Clearly the market disagrees with your analysis.
