"Perhaps a few people on this board should consider thanking this President for navigating this country through this "
OMG - it happened in spite of the obama clown in the whitehouse...
Hey moron - my 401K went up over $4K yesterday. You see, smart investors have a balanced portfolio...
P.S. I haven't lost a penny on my GM shares, just FYI...
"wow, what a beating! i just hate it when you get kicked out of mcdonalds for loitering and have to take it out on people on this board..."
You get soundly beaten here and you just keep coming back for more. That's another trait of a moron, FYI...
On top of that, you respond with a very grade-school reply and also fail to notice that you got 22 THUMBS DOWN. Sure, you might argue, that you also got 1 thumbs up but that poster too much be a MORON as well.
Take a hint bub...
"90% of the stocks I owned in 2014 doubled , tripled , quadrupled or better. 10% all increased by 20 - 45 %."
You LIE very badly - no one saw returns as your suggesting last year...
"It should be obvious that manufacturer’s are not serious about improving fuel mileage at the moment."
You HAVE to be joking OR you don't have a clue...
"My point is if they actually tried for mpg instead of performance they could do it by 2025 with minimal effort."
Again, it's clear you don't have a CLUE...
"How's your Cobalt SS holding up percy?"
Perfectly fine and fast as heck.
"Has it needed repairs that should have been covered by GM?"
Other than the ignition switch (covered by the recall) - not a darn thing.
Anything else webby? Some other burning questions?
You are a whiner. It's unfortunate that your vehicle wasn't corrected when it would have been possible but vehicles don't last forever (I know you've heard others say the same thing). Just fix the dang thing already. We ALL have had to pay for repairs to vehicles that are out of warranty and wished that the OEM would do it. It doesn't work like that. Figure it out. OR, you can make life easier for yourself and ride a bike.
WARNING TO BIKE MANUFACTURERS: THERE'S A CHANCE YOU'LL BE SUED BY mia_lmao WHEN THE REAR COGS WEAR, ACCELERATING CHAIN STRETCH WHICH THEN MIGHT LEAD TO "CHAIN SUCK".
"They don't think about the kid who gets hit chasing a ball because the driver is doing 50 mph, instead of the 25 mph the guage is reading."
I hope that you're not talking about yourself and YOUR inability to judge a residential neighborhood speed that is safe. If someone is going TWICE what the limit is because they are watching their speedometer, then maybe they shouldn't be driving. Likewise, if you're going 90 and don't recognize that you're flying past the others on the freeway, then again, you shouldn't be driving.
You're trying REALLY hard but it just ain't working...
Keep up the good work MORON!
"That is a stupid bet, percy -- it leaves you too much wiggle room to argue over who won."
First, butt out moron - you've gotten whupped SO BAD here, I'm surprised you don't pull a mellon-head and only show up say once a month.
Second, GM has already booked a bunch of $$ for the ignition switch issue plus the other recall related expenses. I was counting on the MORON qqq to ignore this fact.
Third, GM had a dang good quarter and overall year in terms of sales & revenue.
Fourth, GM Europe, while struggling, is showing some bright spots in terms of sales and very recent market share results.
In closing, #$%$ and let the MORON speak for herself.
Have a good day.
"I got my shorts at 42 and GM is going nowhere that high."
We fully expect that this is a LIE, like everything else you spout here.
"When 02-04-15 come along a sea of red ink."
This is part 1 of my proposed bet coming up.
"30.4 million recalled cars 7 YEARS OF GM PRODUCTION AND IT COST BIG MONEY TO FIX THEM."
And this trash is part 2 of my proposed bet coming up.
Here's the proposal, MORON:
I bet that GM will again be in the black for Q4 and all of 2014 when results come out in February. I'll also up that bet by suggesting that GM won't have booked much more $$ at all for any recall related activity that will impact the bottom line results. By "much more" I'll wager that it will be less than $50M.
So, there you have it MORON. You say that GM will awash in a sea of red ink - a surprise set of results in most of our minds. I say otherwise. You say that GM will have to dole out a LOT more $$ to cover recall related activities. I say otherwise.
I win, you can't post your BS for the rest of the month while the rest of us giggle a bit at your LOSER-DOM.
You win and I won't post here for the rest of the month.
qqq - you must be beside yourself with short frustration. It's been picked the #1 stock within the entire S&P500 for this calendar year.
Go suck eggs...
"After GM reports, is this stock doing to temporarily drop? What are your opinions?"
GM doesn't report Q4 and full 2014 results until February. Who knows?
to reward shareholders while profits are not where they should be and pre-market shows Ford up over 1% as a result.
I expect that GM will follow the same path and announce a dividend increase as well.
qqq will REALLY be ticked as she loses more and more of her imaginary shorts!
Boo hoo hoo.
GM is up 3% now.
BLAH BLAH BLAH there MORON...
"Remember the big strike the union plans if big raises for workers are not met."
What big strike? Do you have proof that it will happen and that it's even being planned? And, do you honestly think "big raises" are in the cards and real? Are you that stupid to think that this will all be worked out quite nicely and fairly to not cut the throat of the OEMs?
That's what I thought...
