"personality. You make it so easy to call you out as a freak who hates freedom and America while being ignorant enough to believe communism actually works"

Boxhead, where in the heck did you EVER get the idea that I hate freedom and America and that I believe communism works?!?!?! You're a freakin' psycho...

"To add insult to injury if you have owned GM stock since 2008 you missed out on making mass amounts of money in high end stocks like I own. BIIB , REGN , GILD , KITE , BLUE , CELG and my little OPK that has only tripled over that time frame."

    Boxhead,
Where have I shared that I have owned GM stock since '08. I own VERY little right now and bought it over the last year and a half. Again, you're a psycho and I certainly wouldn't even consider taking any investment advice from you.

Further, you need to understand and discriminate the difference between "theirs" and "there's". Get a clue boxhead...

"Does our GM still make the Volt?"

Yep and the next gen will be even better. Certainly better looking that the toyoDUH prius line...

Meanwhile, prius sales continue to fall.

    Too bad.
    So sad.

P.S. What OEM has the greatest share price increase?

"just more stupid remarks not even getting back to original thought because you will lose."

    LOL!! Yes, Mr. SUPER MORON...

I assume that your "original thought" was that GM had 56% of the market in 1960. It took a whopping 5 minutes to see that you were a LIAR again.

The number you're after is 49.3% MORON. Other data (a table from Automotive Industries in 1981) suggests it was ~43% in 1960.

So, basically, I've quite easily showed that you LIED at both ends of your claim.

"I ment when GM went belly up and declaired BANKRUPT which was 2009 SO IT WAS SIX YEARS According to you I can only use one hand. Still it has been almost six years. just like Ford stock I said a dollar and it was a dollar and change."

    OMG you are dumb.

GM filed for BK on June 1, 2009. Ford shares were hovering right at $6.

    You are a pathetic LIAR.

Here are some calendar-year-to-date gains for you to ponder:
GM up over 8.7% (including the gains so far in today's session)
    Ford up 3.2%
    toyoDUH up 7.9%
    DOW up 2.1%
    NASDAQ up 5.1%
    S&P up 2.4%

So, a question for you - which one is higher?

    Just asking...

"I SAID CHECK THEM 3 times you did not check. WAY TOO LAZY easier to lie than CHECK REAL NUMBERS!"

I dont' have to check them when I KNOW, in a post earlier today, that your numbers are wrong. Here's just an example:
"General Motors captured an 18.5% share in February and 18.1% YTD—both above 2014 share of 17.9%."

Further, I don't CARE about what happened 50 years ago when the landscape of the automotive market was so different? You're a MORON to think otherwise.

    Game.
    Set.
    Match.

One more comment to the SUPER MORON qqq about the IPO price. This is going to be very fun for me!!!

You see, and you can find this info on Yahoo quite easily (but we all know it's a challenged), that the IPO price was indeed $35. BUT, as dumb as you are, you and other basher boneheads, will fail to recognize that dividends have been paid. That factor affects the TRUE, or what is called the Adjusted Price (to reflect those dividends and also splits). The adjusted price is $33.02.

Guess what? It's going to go lower because GM continues to pay dividends AND the dividend was just recently increased by 20%. So, the gain for those that bought at the IPO, and didn't sell, stands at an effective 14.5% gain. Not great, but not awful either. CERTAINLY didn't lose any $$.

But, you're also too dumb to recognize that many increase their holdings over time by Dollar Cost Averaging purchases. You also FAIL to acknowledge that there are those that TRADE because this is a cyclical stock.

You're a SUPER MORON and you never fail to meet that level - you demonstrate it dozens of times every day...

"five long years and GM up 2 points from IPO price $35.00 Five long years personality_less has been saying buy buy buy as most stocks like FORD went from a dollar and change when GM went bankrupt. 15X means 1 dollar of FORD is now 15 dollars while GM up two dollars in five long years."

You are a FANTASTIC LIAR there MORON qqq.
The price of Ford stock 5 years ago was $13.34. Look it up, it's easy. Unless you're a moron. So, for you, it will be difficult.

"DJIA double yet GM stays far behind!"
Also, the DOW 5 years ago was 10,624. It has NOT doubled. The only thing "far behind" is your education because you can't even do 2nd grade math.

You're not just a moron, you're a SUPER MORON. You've been elevated to that status. Enjoy the additional feedback you might get!!!

    From an article yesterday:
"General Motors captured an 18.5% share in February and 18.1% YTD—both above 2014 share of 17.9%. And General Motorss February ATPs were reported up $2,700 (industry + $1,100) after rising ~$2,300 in January. Isn’t General Motors supposed to be losing share and pricing now that the K2XX truck product cycle is “over”? That’s certainty been the bear case narrative. What bears have missed, in our view, is GM’s exceptionally strong leverage to trucks (i.e. the gas price “arm wrestle”). In the first 2 months of 2015 the pickup & large SUV segments are +22% (vs. +9% industry) with General Motors having fresh mid-size pickups & large SUVs. Even General Motors’ full-size pickups are performing well. The significance here is that as investors gain confidence in GMNA’s 2015 margin progression, the looming 2016 General Motors product cycle (and General Motors’ 10% margin target) should only continue to revive sentiment in the stock and contribute to relative multiple expansion."

Oh my word - whatever are the basher boneheads going to do?

Hopefully, dry up and blow away...

"yahoo finance headline: "gm falls short of february sales expectations"

scalebalancer, do you work for gm's marketing department???"

    perfect_moron,
Of course you fail to recognize that there are OTHER articles where the headline is just the opposite of that dumb one. You were attracted to that dumb headline, well, because you're dumb as a box of rocks.

P.S. GM's sales BEAT expectations of MOST of the analysts. GM shares yesterday were UP as a result and all other OEMs were DOWN. GM's sales WHUPPED up on everyone else, AGAIN.

You're are truly the perfect_moron that we all know you are.

    Sentiment: Buy

  • - GM shares up 7 out of the last 9 days
    - Berkshire Hathaway just increase holdings by 1M shares to a total of 42M shares
    - GM's February sales better than expected
    - GM's sales 51K more than the next (toyoDUH) OEM
    - GM's pickups FAR outsell F (again)

    It's all good.
