marsh1482, respectfully, you had me fooled for a while. You provide little but bashing.
Saying what I just did will probably put me on your "no nothing longs" list deserving verbal attack and laughter. LOL
I am pfein2012 and my thank you post was meant for commoncetsinvestorguy, but somehow it shows under zigzagjones' post.
Yahoo sucks. lol
Well, i am back to say "nay Sayers" were right and the bulls who did not get out above 5 wrong.
I may take another look when charts tell me so and i will be back then.
All the best to all of you.
Thank you for your reply.
It seems to me (a novice in VR) the most informed are the ones doing most of the fighting.
I wonder what this board would be like if people of knowledge, such as yourself, would use time and talent to educate, so we all can make money :)
Learning, you beat me to it, as I feel the same about Marsh. My respect for him is increasing every day. Thank you for your post.
Good morning Marsh1482:
Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt. But I asked the question sincerely and to see if anyone would reply with something such as "Market Maker's control" to accumulate shares. Of course I am not sure of this, but ANY does have high accumulation/distribution & good up/down tick numbers which I follow.
And it has been my "experience" that down on up days and up on down days may is many times a positive pattern. Of course volume has to confirm.
However, I am not blindly bullish either. There are a number of technical negatives such as 50ma being below 200. Also, bulls need a breakout. What will be the final outcome? Oh, if I knew the answer I would not be working so hard to make a few dollars in this very difficult market.
All the best to you,
Please don't tell me you don't know that Revenue in Q ending March 2015 was 20.1M vs. 9.0M previous comp Q. And where did I get my numbers? It is everywhere !
You are one of the learned ones.
But you are not negative.
I read your posts very carefully.
Please post when your time allows
This board needs you. I certainly do..
Sincerely and with respect,
Marsh1482 and Zigzagjones are up there with you.
As a matter of fact, I see this board totally dominated by the three of you.
All the best to the three of you
thank you for the comprehensive set of questions; the answer to which will always be beyond my knowhow and ability to learn. So, truth be told and with apologies, your questions cannot help me.
I am an average investor/trader looking to profit buying and selling stocks--"any" stock!
ANY is just one of those "any" stocks for me. The next day or the next week it may be a bio stock in phase II of which I know even less than I know about ANY.
Peter-Lynch-style is probably the best for an average such as I. Unfortunately the style has not worked for me. Truth be told I am a technician (chartist) and know little fundamentals.
Charts have made me money and fundamentals have not.
Two final comments:
Last quarter ANY grow revenue by 100%.
Today, once again, ANY soared into the close and with volume. As a technician, I must see that bullish.
Is the tape being painted? May be.
All things are possible in stock market.
As CEO of Goldman Sacks said during 2008 crisis: "They are doing God's work."
I did get "lucky" because I do not marry nor divorce a stock! I buy and sell them to make money and I mostly DO NOT know ENOUGH about the company! Am I uninformed, a beginner, a loser or worse? Please read on!
I am a good chartist. Here is how I do it:
1--go to Yahoo's Profile & Key Statistics,
2--look at IBD's numbers (subscription & experience needed. No I am not a CAN SLIM player
3--look for earnings date and usually do not stay through ER
4-- glance at Yahoo's message board. If I like/dislike some one's posts I look their prior posts
5—decide if I stay with the stock or go look for another potential.
6-- if I stay; price, volume, and news become my focus,
7--learn the price "behavior" of the stock because market makers play differently and “CREAT” different volatility and head fakes.
8--Finally, I buy when chart say so
9--ALWAYS use STOP LOSS & take partial profits: I bought ANY yesterday at 2.61 & sold 1/2 at 3.07.
I shared my "secrets" of how to get "lucky" because in this cruel and crooked game there is no luck! There are only merciless wolves. Few honest wolves, many dishonest wolves, and endless sheep. I was a sheep for many years.
I thank Marsh and Zigzag for their insightful posts; although mostly above my head. Then, #$%$73 became a top, “strange” late recovery into the close became a “pattern”, and management kept silent, I became concerned & sold at 5.25 average. At 50% less, I bought some.
All the best
Bears are silent and bulls dare not say anything. What is going on?
Why doesn't ANY fall more?
Will it drop at the close or when Dow drops 2k points?
Where are the short sellers?
I am not trying to be funny. These are legitimate questions and the answer is the key ...
I am writing when Dow is down 300 points and ANY has a bid at 3.14 and ask of 3.17. Time = 11:26 EST
Are you not here to make money. Are you actually a player? You know I like and respect you but you just bash and you don't play. Why?
Just read the news and your comment above and find you are not "impressed."
Would be so kind to tell us why?
Thank you much
