do you expect ANOTHER dividend increase this year? last year, they increased it around the november time frame? even if they don't, they have more than taken care of their shareholders by essentially doubling their dividend last year. a 10% increase would be nice.
great strategy, i do it all the time. i sold some january 2016 43 and 45 puts, covered a little too quickly, but for a nice, small profit.
for sure, how much money do you really need? that being said, if he had 720 million shares, it would make him the richest man on the planet (68-70 billion net worth?)
and what are you basing that settlement estimate on? now you're starting to sound like a pump-and-dumper.
could it be between 3 and 5 billion? sure, or it could be between 5 and 14, who knows? production is up? most likely production is down due to the crazy weather in the western half of the USA. remember, their guidance was kind of lousy during the last earnings call.
when you start speculating is when you know perhaps it's time to question your thesis. not saying APC is a bad company, if i had to do something, i would much rather buy than sell....but you need to get a grip.
i appreciate your thoughtful responses, much more useful than the typical yahoo message board garbage that you see.
your narcissism makes me laugh. you think you're the only one who knows this? read every other post today, they're all saying the same thing, nobody is panic-selling.
when *you're given an opportunity to buy it. the more you post, lthe less intelligent you seem.
long-term investors who are happy to collect the dividends aren't worried. in general, the theme on this board has been, what a great buying opportunity. you're not telling people anything they don't already know.
the only person who needs to be realistic is YOU. you're the one who is acting like a complete douche and somehow think you're rubbing salt in people's wounds. "i sold at 62, haha" congratulations, my cost basis is 52.
who told you that you missed the boat? what people were telling you is that, for the long-term it's a great stock.
please, go away. i find it sad and pathetic that you need an ego boost. you don't see warren buffet patting himself on the back.
nobody says obama is perfect, or even great for that matter, but let's not blame him for everything.
*who let you out of your parents' basement?
Yup, Obama was the one who wanted to invade Iraq at the cost of two billion dollars a day, and he's the one who started the recession and economic crisis, even though he wasn't in office yet....oh wait.
Wo let you out of our parents' basement?
it's the uncertainty, i think a 5 billion verdict would be beneficial, just get it out of the way.
i'll bet you 100 dollars he'll claim his order got filled at 81.01, hahaha, or whatever the best possible price is.
