Not thrilled but this is just a small setback as we navigate through the growing pains of being invested in a small growing company. The biggest hurdle (cash) is now out of the way. Now we let them focus on sales which we are starting to see. I was hoping this would be a late 2015 story, but it's looking more like early 2016. So whats waiting another 6 mos to a year. No more cash worries. They get it done with what they have or it's lights out. And I still wouldn't count a takeover out of the cards. Still a lot of unknowns out there. Good luck!!
"We have seen a number of patients already and they're being prepared for surgery." with a smile on his face!
You really think he's the only doctor/center who are seeing patients preparing them for surgery.
A major television network will be running a special on Vbloc therapy, highlighting our program and this particular patient. Please stay tuned to learn more about the air date.
Get this last Q behind us and what I hear is growth. By the way congrats on Juno!
The excessive weight Adams gained during the past 15 years, as well as its health implications, forced her to explore weight-loss surgery options. She opted for the new route, and became the first person in the Tri-State area to undergo the VBloc Therapy. It is the first major advance in bariatric weight-loss surgery in a decade.
This is just a small setback as we navigate through the growing pains of being a small company. The biggest hurdle is now out of the way. Now we let them focus on sales. And anyone who has followed Brad knows what he's capable of. If not let me remind you.

If you're long this probably is another buying opportunity. But please show me where I told you to buy this? Take responsibility for your own actions. I try to post verifiable facts and share what I find. If you don't like that put me on ignore something I should have done to you a long time ago.
I'm long believing better days are ahead, so therefore I'm staying put. The news ah is interesting. The timing after last weeks Douglas filing (is this Douglas inner workings), and the weak volume on the news tonight has me thinking we might be okay. All going to depend on how much interest there is in them warrants. Retail will most likely never see them. Got shorty's attention though i bet!
The ATM is in use, and has been as long as I've been invested.
Here is what was told to me in my recent conversations with Jody.
"As I mentioned in my previous note, we are working on put together a financing plan that is thoughtful towards both our current and future shareholders. This requires the evaluation of a number of different options such as continued use of the ATM, traditional financing, debt or some combination of them based on many factors, including timing."
It's a rumor take it for what it's worth. Here is something I will share though from my recent conversations with Jody.
"talking with the multiple insurance companies and their regional offices, submitting prior authorizations and appeals…"
Yes I know, but it's still early. Severing of the vagus nerve is how ETRM got where they are today. They studied the data tweaking it along the way with a device giving us Vbloc. Again I know this is just early studies and years from anything material. I was just pointing out someone with deep pockets interested in the technology might be interested in another potential Billion dollar opportunity for cheap.
I never really expected them to announce each procedure. I thought we might see each doc/center announce their first procedure as a few have. But I'm starting to see this is going to be a hush, hush event just letting us know that operations are underway, how many docs and centers are on-board updating periodically. I think "Biotia" nailed the strategic reason.
It might be to early to get any info from the centers/docs. I have made a few calls myself and you really need to talk with a scheduler which I found is hard to do. I also get this feeling ETRM has asked for this info not to be released by centers/docs. I'm not sure they can control what centers/docs release, but I get this feeling they want them to keep it quite.
I have been in contact with Jody over the past few weeks and they are not going to release surgeries to date now or ever from what I gather. She keeps insisting they will only report revenue and not devices sold. Says it's for strategic reasons.

New report June 23, 2015
New research indicates that Parkinson's disease may begin in the gastrointestinal tract and spread through the vagus nerve to the brain.
I realize this is years away, but for another interested company in the technology and the more we understand the vagus nerve, partnership possibilities are endless.
Two good interviews out today with heads from Medtronic & Boston Scientific . The Medtronic interview is up on Yahoo MDT page, BSX should be up theirs shortly. After listening to both speculation should be running wild across all small medical device companies with something to tout. All the big names are in Minnesota today!
Speaking of VA, they just put out a monthly news bulletin to all vets who get them. The recent Vbloc story is in the bulletin.
Did you guys catch the Moore metabolic webinar last night? There are many of these events happening put on by different Docs across the country. I would say word is getting out, and as mentioned here several times these Docs/Centers are going to be of great benefit for us. She is promoting Vbloc as the newest safest surgical option for obesity. She mention both her and her partner attended a training seminar in Houston.

You have no choice but to wait. Probably has shorts like yourself scurrying for info. Let me remind you the company has stated several times they will not be providing guidance this early being the device is new. They have also stated with the first implant out of the way they will not be announcing sales along the way.
So no problem we wait 10 weeks
