  • Bayer is already distributing Al Mann's Minimed device. They don't have a competing insulin product so there is no threat of cannibalization. The problem with Sanofi and Novo is that the success of Afrezza will cannibalize their major product so it doesn't really help them to partner for Afrezza. There is always the danger that they partner with MNKD and then just mothball Afrezza to preserve their insulin products. Merck is a better option as they have Organnon - the manufacturer of Afrezza's insulin. Finally, who is the manufacturer of the raw insulin that MNKD tested recently? It's definitely not Pfizer's or Merck's since they had to do a new trial. On the other hand it could be Merck if they have a different insulin variation that they wanted to test. It's all about cost. If raw insulin can be produced cheaper, Afrezza can be sold cheaper.

Cherubspeak, 'I'll tell you this. stay in for 3-5 years to get your reward, if you're truly a fan of Mann.' - Where were you when we were at $1.80?? Don't talk about being a true Al believer if you just invested after the AdCom. You're just an opportunist and that's not bad. We're all here for the money. Even those that say they are here for the diabetics invested money because they think is a good investment, not because they are great humanitarian that they claim they are. But don't blaspheme and say you truly believe in this product if you weren't around when everyone abandoned Al except for a small army of long time investors like Jerginsa, MikeMilitaria, ItelltheTruth (where is is Itell?) and many others. OPC11? Derekindler. I'm sure I missed a lot of good people.

Cherubspeak, "some in "close" circles bought in at much higher prices than today's trading price of 9.88- $10" - you mean relatives and friends had no confidence in Al before that? And you expect us to believe you are 'in the know'?
