I think it's consolidating after a huge move and is going to go higher
They have a market cap of $25 billion, make no money, and stock will eventually hit zero when tax rebates end. Why exactly would someone buy them? It's not as if this genius invented the electric car although you'd think he did from everything you read. Did Musk actually invent anything?
I think 25 bill cap and no profits might be part of it. And they say this time for 5k Nasdaq is different, assume they ignore this AMZN and a number of others when they say that. Problem is there is a major pullback coming here at some point, bet TSLA falls close to $100 or maybe even below when it does, Naz will lose at least 5% more than S&P, just guessing. I'm not short and never have been, in fact quite long but just realistic. I mean what exactly is going so well in the US and by what metric?
And I'd add what good news has this company had recently? Or for that matter in years? Missed sales, increased inventories, just wait until the tax subsidies phase out and you know they will at some point.
That 5 day chart today is pretty wild, either someone is accumulating or someone pumps the stock price up and unloads a bunch right after that, or who knows what but definitely not a smooth line.
T is doing fine for me and I'll take the 5% dividend forever regardless of price appreciation. Often the stocks going out of the DOW outperform the ones going in so who cares.
Pretty obvious that they are caught up with PBR, question is what happens when the smoke clears. Brazil is up in flames and I'd have to think heading for a new President sooner rather than later unless major scapegoats present themselves. Hopefully BAK isn't one of those.
MS just put a $1900 target on this junker. Rest assured they are getting their own clients out of it as fast as they can. It's like a Goldman call, just do the opposite and assume for their own clients they are also. It's sad but it sure is reliable to act upon.
I guess they are thinking MS's target of $95 is more likely than $1,900. I sure wish I could get paid to put out that kind of analysis.
Still waiting to actually see one of these on the street. Pretty sure I see a unicorn first unless I go to Hollywood or Silicon Valley. Who else buys a $100k battery?
