For your sake..........I hope this comes true. Otherwise......................you can always put one on the end of a key chain !!!!!
Just having fun with you.....
WOW.........is all I can say. There is a difference between investing in something that will benefit a select group of people rather than investing for the sake of pure greed.
I'm so happy to know that you have the opportunity to use this product and only hope that it has been a blessing for you.
I have had many friends who are diabetic (probably most of us do) and any little thing that makes their life easier...........I'm all in favor of.
I hope that at least one or two of the board who approves these type of drugs are either diabetic themselves or know have a family member who is.
This way....the shortest distance between two points being a straight line........would definitely speed up the process.
best to you SIR and may you continue to enjoy the benefits of the inhaler.
Before expressing my opinion on matters...I'd like to make a small confession: I'm a new investor to the company and so therefore; don't feel really qualified to make any kind of significant comment,
Secondly; I'm not a BASHER of any stock and my comments are sprinkled throughout Yahoo's board. I think I'm pretty reasonable and objective.........but that doesn't mean everyone agrees with my POV. Also, I use my REAL NAME.
That being said, I think your comments are pretty straightforward and reasonable and I hope that they come true because..........such things can change the world.
I'm only guessing here, but I think in spite of it being "39 days and no partner".........something (like You) is up. Attorneys, big $$$ men, a CEO who is what............ 87 and a billionaire who maybe...just maybe wants his "swan song" to be a legacy to his name? On the surface.......it would appear so.
Yet....there are bashers galore EVERYWHERE who would rather invest hatred ,stupidity and semi intelligence (a.k.a. misinformation) instead of their money..........probably because they don't have any?
If I was sitting at a roundtable....I would want (before committing any big $$$) to know as much as possible. Then as Ronald Reagan (who I HATE) would say: "Trust....but verify". In other words...........TIME and PATIENCE will capre diem.
YOU SIR.....see the big picture here. I only wish there were others who see your vision instead of commenting "day to day" and finding something WRONG.
I'm on your side and will continue to watch and read what you have to say.
best to you........Philip
Dear Algo..........You get the point !!!! This is what share buybacks are all about. There should be an announcement in November raising the stock's dividend from 75 cents to 90 cents. This too will add to the share price.
You've obviously been "in the game" for quite awhile. I completely agree with your assessment here. Just to add a comment for those who are not as savvy.......this is called getting rich "slowly". Buying quality and holding onto it.
My position in Disney averages out to $8 a share (a combination of long term holding, buying on dips and the occasional stock split). With a 75 cent dividend, that's almost a 10% yield. Not to mention also, the importance to reinvest those dividends as additional shares. Buybacks and dividends are indications of a well managed company.
Hotstock is someone whose advice should be listened to. I commend you on being honest and forthright.
A stock split is pretty unlikely as historically, the stock trades at over $100 a share before doing so. But, and let me fair and honest..........Disney is one of those companies that a lot of young people buy stock for their children (can you blame them?) and so a "family company" would indeed generate more buys say in the 20-30 range as opposed to where it is now.
All of that granted............
However, first and foremost, Disney is a BUSINESS whose purpose is to MAKE MONEY.. They answer to analysts of large firms and while I can appreciate your passion for a split, those small kids whose parents buy them 10-20 shares of their hard earned money, are pushed all the way to back compared to the pension funds, mutual funds and large individual investors who want to keep things...........just as they are.
Fundamentally and personally, I agree with you. Just think that it won't happen anytime soon.
There will be a stock buy back and an increase in the dividend from 75 cents probably up to 90 cents (my personal opinion). That'll have to do.............for now.
Hey "Mr. G"........I understand and basically agree with the POV. However, I'm in the somewhat enviable position to be able to both buy and hold for the long term and do some "trading" too (just for fun).
I agree that the general market is overbought and October is generally a "bad luck" month so we could see a decent correction which would be a welcome and necessary thing.
Not to mention politics with the debt issue etc. (not going to go there) but you get my point.
I'm 75-80% in cash now and will wait for the bargains to show up later.
In the meantime..........as always........You and yours have a good one.........P
W...O...W...!!!!!!!!!!!! is all I can say. Somewhere between a basher and wosher. A stay at home Mom doing this instead of stuffing envelopes !!!!
Pardon me........but I think I'll pass on the advice.
Click on a 3 month chart. Here's my analysis:
yesterday's close 9/19: $6.03
Consolidation since 7/29 on moderate volume. We have taken out $5.94 and 5.99 closing prices. Yesterday's close at $6.03 puts us within range of $6.10-6.16 which is bullish. Yesterday's volume was the largest since 8/2 when 11mil+ shares traded at $4.60..........also bullish.
A close above $6.16-6.20 on large volume would confirm an intermediate breakout above resistance and take the stock into the low to mid 7s.
Longer term? We'll worry about that later.
If the stock turns around and goes back down below $6 it would continue the consolidation of the stock since July 29th.
Just my opinion.................
Hey Milky, me too. Wanted to get a good price point to get in and you (or someone else perhaps) has suggested the high 10s. It looks as of today (Sept 19) that your post of the 13th looks to be right on the money!!!
I'm continuing to watch. best to you.......P
Hey "CJ" I might have a crystal ball....but I fully expect this stock to have a market cap of over $1billion before any company of size wants to buy it. There are many reasons for this.......too long to explain here. But I feel $6 has proved to be overhead resistance or consolidation and once it breaks through..........then we have some chance of it hitting $7-8+. After that, it's time for another post and another perhaps BUY a crystal ball.
best to you........P
