The majority of wells are drilled for other operators. They've cut back their own drilling drastically to maintain a steady menu of projects if the independents cut back on new wells. Smart. And good for their employess.
Certainly a lot of selling in to strength here. I'll admit that I'm surprised. Hopefully we can hold the break out above 1.83. Anyway, it's a heck of a lot better than a downside pre-announcement! We'll see what next week brings.
With this rate of growth, this stock should be trading much higher. I couldn't figure the weakness over the last few days. The long wait may just be over. $1.50/share? Are you kidding? It's too good. No other way I could have accumulated such a huge number of shares. Gonna be a party!
With volume under 50K/day again, I hope it doesn't take another 15 years to break through $9!
You bet! Unequivocal breakout today. Double volume. Finally! Been waiting and waiting.
Clovis got breakthrough designation for it's ovarian CA treatment. Stock is up 7%. Now 7% isn't bad, but I'd like to think HALO has a lot more juice than that. Breakthrough deisgnation is not the end all of the story. If they just move on to the next phase of the study, and launch the NSCLC study, progress is very much intact. I've waited a long time. I know I may have to wait a bit longer for the flower to bear fruit.
I like that KEM feels confident enough to make an acquisition, even if it's a small one. In consideration of the debt they already have, it implies a certain confidence in the outlook, IMO. Added to my position. Time will tell.
