from my notes Nov7th'2013, Twitter TWTR ipo began trading today, and although priced ~$26/share it came out @ $45.10, traded up to $50, and then followed the S&P500 drifting downward, yet closed ~flat'ish
we tested the IPO price just 12 days ago on Aug7th with lows $26.87, and today could be the "retest" with higher $27.16 lows
buy low then sell high = believe in this simple strategy or you will never get rich
imagine that - that retail investors get pretty well the same price as employees & insiders etc.
you will never get IPO prices of high profile stocks unless you have an account with the biggest brokers and over $10M sized portfolio (or you're connected somehow to insiders, employees, or investment bankers who underwrote the issue)
