More liberal deflection. Let's not talk about what is going on today, let's not discuss the fact that our President intentionally lied and has ruined the costs of our health care fiasco, let's talk about Bush. I thought your President said he wanted to move forward, not look back? Then why do his supporters and his staff keep looking back?

Lame. Really, you want to blame to stupidity of the American voters, and keep in mind Obama has hired people to do his dirty work because he thinks we are stupid, on Fox News?

Read some books. Listen to entire speeches or read the transcripts at least, and get the entire jist of the speakers intent, not just a few hand selected sound bites be they from Fox or NBC. Look at voting records, pay attention to debates, do some research on past legislation a person has submitted or supported. Of course that wouldn't have helped with Obama the first time around be he neither submitted, voted on or support any legislation...it might have shown his true colors and had him excluded from any consideration.

Congress and most of the Presidents staff consider the American voting public dumb as rocks, easily manipulated, easily lied to and lazy. Democrats are convinced that if they give them enough 'government' money, they will keep voting for them. Sadly, they are correct.

Hi signed a bill that was to help those already here in exchange for locking down to border to stop the expansion of future need to do this again. The Democrats never funded the effort and did nothing to secure the border, just like they are trying to do these days. Man your sense of history must have come from the bottom of a bottle of Ripple.

How can you have the audacity to complain about stalling when Dirty Harry has accomplished this task (surely directed by the President) over 350 times. This was done to hurt the Republican Party and the American People for the sake of politics and personal vendetta. The man is a dishonest narcissist.

And this is where I have to agree with Obama's ACA advisor...American voters are basically an uneducated group that obtain their voting info from sound bites on the evening news and from racially focused special interest groups. As a collective group, we should be ashamed.

Since when have the Republicans controlled Congress for 6 years? Dirty Harry has ruled the roost for years, so did Nut Job Nancy. Obama had control of Congress when he took office and did nothing to get these kinds of bills passed, because he wasn't smart enough to think them up and he hadn't hired his favorite lady helper yet, he was still trying to force Van Jones down our throats.

I think I have figured you out! You don't know squat about what you post, you don't care squat about what you post. You are simply looking for a response so that your days aren't so lonely. Sad.

And the lie of the decade, 'if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor, if you like you insurance, you can keep your insurance.' It wasn't simply a lie, it was a well planned and thought out lie. He knew it was a lie when he first said it and he kept repeating it. His ego will not allow him to admit wrong or try to correct a wrong.

Obama wasn't a sudden wonder kid. He was planted as a candidate. The Democrats were failing even though they ran Congress. They needed someone they could manipulate (and then he got away from their control) and that any criticism of him could simply be brushed off as racism. It would make every that did take issue with anything he did or say look bad and they thought this would give them an edge. It didn't work quite as planned and they had to get Dirty Harry to play bad guy (wasn't much of a stretch) and simply not allow anything the Republicans brought forward to be consider for a vote. Harry has done as much to ruin this country and our economy as Obama, surely at someone's direction because Harry isn't smart enough on his own.

How do we know, particularly and unaware Congress, that we need immigration reform? It has been years since we enforced the laws currently on the books regarding immigration and the penalties for violating those laws. We look the other way, we try hard to find politically correct terms for those criminals that break our laws simply in getting here and allow many to stay after they break other laws as well.

How about we enforce the rules on the books and see what happens along our borders? How about we begin deporting those sneaking across our border as soon as we find them and not five years later after they have had a few kids.

If there is any immigration reform that is needed, it would be to change the rules around the anchor babies and the dry foot rules for Cubans. If you are here illegally and don't qualify for asylum under other rules, back you go. Let’s see what happens when we have immigration laws to which we pay attention. If we don’t enforce our laws, basically we have no borders. We are open to the world, including all those that wish to come here to harm this country and its citizens. The government will have failed majestically at protecting the citizens of this country. Our government has an obligation to the ‘citizens’ of this country, not law breaking illegal immigrants.

No the Democrats shut down the government because they declined to negotiate any budget conditions; it was our way or no way. They also shut down portions of the government simply for attention and political points. The President says he will negotiate and sign any Republican bills that meet his approval. The Senate is the ones that should be negotiating in the first place and he never negotiates anyway. He says what he wants and if he doesn't get it, he has Harry do his dirty work and simply not a vote on anything he doesn't like. He is not an emperor but he sure spends a lot of time talking like one. This Congress and this government are not in place to meet his ‘approval’, it is in place to protect and serve the people of the United States and be accomplished within the Constitution.

He has the authority to disregard immigration laws and elect not to prosecute illegal’s for being here illegally. He does not have the power to grant them benefits or cause them to be considered 'legal'. He can direct the DOJ and ICE to not deport them, but he cannot claim by fiat that these people are now legal and eligible for benefits under welfare programs or health care benefits. That requires funding and he cannot arbitrarily create spending bills to fund his actions.

These actions are not for humanitarian reasons, they are fully political and part of the plan to distract from the mid-term losses and force the Republicans to appear to be the bad guys. This action is not as he is so found of claiming ‘fair’ to those that are in line to do this legally. It is not ‘fair’ to many of unemployed ‘citizens’ still looking for work. It is not fair to those in law enforcement and border duties to have them be told basically to stand down!

What 'brown' man would that be? Are you calling Obama brown because he is of mixed race? He says he is black. He ignores the fact that the woman that gave him life is white because it is a better advantage to him to be black.

How does this man, our President, even have the audacity to go out in public anymore after all the lies he has been caught telling? I know all politicians lie, but this man takes it to an art form. He never knows anything about any scandals in his administration until he hears or reads about it in the media? Really? Then he is mad as he$$ about it, but never does anything about it.

Holy cow, his daily briefings must be put on by the folks at the local clown college! He is so blatantly bold in his lies; he must think that if he tells them often enough and loud enough they will become true.

No thanks, been retired from VZ since 2003 and doing just fine without working. Perhaps part of my investing success could be because I don't use message boards as a resource, particularly from the likes of you.

Free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. If you're making investment decisions based on anything you read on a message board, you're retirement won't last long.
