    Impeachment talk is from WHO???...

The impeachment 'scare' is being promoted by this administration. It is along the same lines as his threat to give amnesty to millions of illegals. It is deflection from his foreign affairs failures and confusion it is causing...it give the media something else to focus upon and not talk about things he doesn't want in the media.

    It is typical Obama politics.

There is high unemployment in Ferguson and many other places in large part due to this administration's policies. People like you voted him into office...TWICE!

Much of the unemployment in that particular town and many other neighborhoods like are due to a lack of education. When you drop out of school, or don't show up on a regular basis and make no effort to learn, you have no skills or education to offer an employer. One interviewed today on TV said, we know how to paint, we know how to cut grass, we know how to hang curtains...all high paying regular employment futures to be sure.

I grew up less than 10 miles from the area burned out. I went to what is now the Ferguson/Florissant school district. I went to school, I studied, I worked hard to learn. I have a college education and am enjoying a nice retirement. I paid for my education myself. I funded my retirement through my working career. I cared and didn't look for someone else to feed and house me. I didn't burn down the community in which I lived, I didn't put the potential employers in place a thinking of coming there into a fear of doing business there. We reap what we sow.

And if Obama wasn't usurping the Constitution, hiding the truth of many of his actions and decisions, failing enormously in foreign affairs management, in managing the economy, in race bating at every opportunity no one, Republicans or Democrats would be speaking about impeachment. Cause and effect.

What facts? There has not been a complete investigation completed yet. You know what happened, you know how it all went down...why aren't you in STL telling them all the 'facts' as you know them?

Glad you got out of the projects, now if you would only act as if you learned something in the process.

Some folks wonder why the police need all this heavy ordinance. Do any of you recall the shoot out in LA, where the police had to go to local stores to get rifles and vests to fight off the fools that had robbed the bank with their own vests and automatic weapons? Several police died that day simply because they were out gunned and out protected. In a cop’s job description, nowhere does it include to die on the job.

When the 'citizens' are throwing bricks, Molotov bombs, shooting from dark places, looting, burning private property of people that had no involvement in their ‘protest’ subject, how does a cop in a uniform, and with a handgun, stop this nonsense? Simple answer is that they don't.

When 'citizens' act like out and out insane criminals and they are armed with flaming bombs, guns and other weapons and expect that the police won't retaliate, what do you expect will happen? What will happen is the rampant destruction of personal property and the loss of innocent lives, including the police offers assigned to protect them and their neighbor hoods.

When our Federal government won't even wait for an investigation to be started, let alone complete before picking sides, we are indeed in a world of distress. Now Holder wants to do a Federal investigation of this matter. He insisted that they do the same in the Martin affair...it has been two years and they still haven't released the findings of their investigation. Why? Is it because they are inept or because they didn’t like the findings and won’t release it because it makes Holder look like the fool and the racist he is?
ey are incompetent, or because they didn't like the findings?

Why do people find it difficult to understand that in a city that is 60% black, as well as many of the surrounding communities being of the same percentage, that the majority of those stopped would be black?

I was raised in Berkeley, the nearest community to Ferguson. When we went to do the weekly grocery shopping, it was in Ferguson, it was there we attended a weekly movie. Berkeley is mostly now black, Florissant is getting there. Why is it surprising or news worthy that the majority of those stopped are black. The majority of those living there and traveling there are black as well. It is an unfair and biased statement to make in this situation.

If his cop shot and unarmed, and not attacking subject, he should be arrested, tried and jailed of convicted. Until there is sufficient evidence to do so, those if Ferguson, those coming from outside Ferguson, including the Rev. Sharpton need to shut the heck up until there is an investigation and trial.

The media, combined with our mouthy President, racist AG will of course not allow that to happen. If there is evidence of wrongdoing and it is not prosecuted, then it is time to protest and riot.

Just like with the kid in FL...it might be bet if everyone, including the President, wait until the facts are known.

The original story, particularly with today's media is seldom the entire story and in many cases not even the true story.

Upwards of 20% of the Mexican GDP is money sent back to families from the US. It is nearly as high if the countries that are sending all their children here. If they were to stop sending them, they would have to support them in their own country and not get the money from the US. This is not about gangs and violence, it is about money.

The $3.7B that Obama wants, according the CBO won't have but $25 spent this year. $600M is to go for fighting forest fires in 2015. Only $100M is destined to be spent on border security, which in spire of Nancy, Harry and Barry is NOT secure.

Shut it down. Close the borders. Stop the Western Union money grams and watch how fast the invasion stops.

No I don't believe that all men are born equal. Should they all be afforded the opportunity to succeed with the talents, wisdom, and energy they possess? Absolutely.

We are not born equal. Some are physically gifted, some are large, some not. Some are blessed with more intelligence than others; some have talents that others do not share. Some have the desire to succeed and make the most of what they have; some simply don't care and would be perfectly happy allowing someone else to provide for them. Some are more content with less than others are, some or not.

Those incapable of providing for themselves are typically fairly easy to identify and often there are groups that are working to help other identify them so they can be helped. It is nearly as simple to identify those that simply choose NOT to help themselves.

There are many that have the intelligence, or IQ to learn and to advance their life, but simply choose that it requires too much work and individual effort. Those that choose NOT to try to make the most of what they have, are a burden on society. Those that can't are a responsibility of society. Unfortunately many of those that simply choose NOT to work for themselves make a habit of passing those traits and thinking to their offspring.

Where in my recent post did I mention liberal, death squads, commie-pinkos, bail-outs, Kenyan, government takeover? I didn't need to mention wealth redistribution, the President and his minions do that often enough that even the weak-minded among you have heard that phrase all too often.

Again, please provide some examples where Socialism has had great success!

I have not been 'coddled' by my government any more than you have. I paid for my education, I served my country, I have always paid my own bills, fed and educated my family through hard work and saving.

I am accountable for what I do and say and always have been. However, I say what I think, not some liberal that tries to brainwash me.

I didn't create any government deficits, the entire government did that and most of that debt has been created while Democrats were/are in charge.

I am all for helping working people and their families, assuming you're talking about those trying to help themselves in the first place. Welfare has its place in our society, not 'lifefare'. Welfare should not be a life style.

“Find me a quote where anyone named Nancy, Harry or Obama, anyone at all with those names, claimed "the border is secure" without qualification."

When you haven't been there, haven't a clue about the number of people illegally crossing our borders on a daily basis, exactly what are their qualifications?

This country has the highest number of illegal’s in its history, even Obama admits the number is growing exponentially so how can he claim the border is secure? If it were secure why would we need to 'reform' our immigration system? Why won't he simply enforce the laws that are on the books today?

What part of ILLEGAL do these people not understand?

  • pinhighshot pinhighshot Jul 21, 2014 4:07 PM Flag

"They can't fathom that our political or economic systems should be shaped toward improving the lives of anyone"

I am all for anyone having an opportunity, but through hard work, innovation, imagination, and education, not through handouts from the rest of the taxpayers that have applied those tenets to their lives and didn't count on welfare from the government for their lives.

I have no issues with helping those trying to help themselves or those that are physically or mentally unable to help themselves. It's those that can but won't that need to find their proper place in this society and change it if they are unhappy with that place.

Socialism has failed in all the places it has been attempted. That should be lesson enough for most.

We don't need immigration reform, we need immigration enforcement. We have laws against all the things that are happening at our borders today. We, sorry, the President and the AG choose not to enforce them. What does he wish to reform? If the reforms aren't exactly what he and Dirty Harry want, they either won't come up for vote or if they do and are passed, they simply will choose not to enforce them. They are not the judges, they are not the Constitution, and they are not Congress. They must follow the law like everyone else.

Reform is simply another word for amnesty and new laws that the Democrats want. If we choose to enforce our laws and they don't work, then we should discuss reform. When they are simply not enforced, there is no discussion necessary other than to answer why they aren't.

It is not that they can't, it's that they won't. Lord Barry keeps insisting that if the government won't do it, he will do it himself. Why isn't he just deporting all those here illegally? Does he understand the meaning of the word illegal?

Mexico doesn't enforce its immigration laws or borders unless you're an ex-US Marine. There is so much more corruption in the Mexican government at ALL levels it makes the US look like rookies.

Mexico doesn't enforce it southern border because many Mexican's are making money hauling folks to the US border. Shut down our southern border completely until they stop allowing them to cross their country and when they are missing the trade, they will comply. Money talks and BS walks, walks right down the halls of the White House.

Well, my goodness, can you believe it…………….

The odds of winning the Florida lottery are 1 in 22,957,480.

The odds of winning the Powerball is 1 in 175,223,510.

The odds of winning Mega Millions is 1 in 258,890,850.

The odds of a hard drive failing in any given month are roughly one in 36. The odds of two different hard drives failing in the same month are roughly one in 36 squared, or 1 in about 1,300. The odds of three hard drives failing in the same month is 36 cubed or 1 in 46,656.

Now here is where you have to pay a little attention:

The odds of seven different hard drives failing in the same month (like what happened at the IRS when they received a letter asking about emails targeting conservative and pro Israeli groups) is 37 to the 7th power = 1 in 78,664,164,096.
    (that's over 78 Billion)

In other words, the odds are 342 times greater that you will win the Florida Lottery than having those seven IRS hard drives crashing in the same month.

Obama will not stop this invasion because he needs it to force Congress to adopt his immigration laws and make all the illegal entries into our country legal. His legacy will be to have gained the Democratic Party the largest increase in voters ever.
