Go ahead, take your 15% profit now.

I'm going to leave the auto-spell checker error up so other self appointed baboon sniffers can feel superior too. Apparently this is all you have to compensate for the worthless life you baboon sniffers have outside of the internet. Pitiful indeed.

Is the buy-out over the corner for $2 ?

I keep hearing all this speculation about a buyout as if it is a sure thing coming. However, I have yet to see anything factually suggesting such a thing. Good grief. Enough already.

Then chase it up and lose out on the coming 300% or much much more. You're choice.

Hey bearpoop. Your aggressive commentary suggest you disagree with me. So then, let's hear your take on NOR. So far my "drivel" has begun to prove itself out. Apparently you are short, but if you shorted at this level I would caution that you're about to be catastrophically devastated financially. But still, please offer up your take on NOR future? What's the company hiding from us and how bad are things really? When will the stock price be moving to zero and when can we expect bankruptcy? No doubt you know.

So from "evaluates a variety of strategic alternatives" you conclude a buyout in the next few weeks for 150 million? Ummm, ok. I guess we'll know that "fact" in a few weeks. See you then.

Buy out? Well, anything is possible but the reason you didn't hear any comments nor did any callers even hint to a buy out is because there isn't one. There isn't one developing behind the scenes and I don't think you could offer up even one "factual" sign of any kind of a buyout whatsoever. Just because a company can be bought, doesn't mean it will. Trump, Buffet and thousands of other rich businesses don't buy just every beat down company. NOR ain't selling. They have a bright future. It would have to be hostile which might prove very difficult with management owning such a large share. Or they'd have to offer a very premium price to get Noranda right now. Personally, I think it would have to be closer to $4. So honestly, not trying to disrespect you but I don't think you really have any idea what your talking about.

He's going to be a very wealthy man soon enough. You know he was praying the price would stay down and couldn't wait for the executive blackout to lift after earnings. I could here it in Dales voice when he was asked about that very thing. Senior mngmt now this price makes no sense but hey, It's one of those rare spectacular opportunities any they know it.

Well said. I like the hit and run comment. I think if NOR shows some strenght before the split, then the split may turn out to be an immediate positive. However, if they slide a bit more, I'm sure we'll experience a pull back. But honestly, either way, full agreement on the hit and run. NOR has real possibility of significant upside reward. I got the time and the patience for it.

For god's sakes bearpoop, I'm not here to waste my time educating you on how to invest. I'm absolutely not the least bit concerned with providing you with paragraphs of technicals for your benefit. However, I've commented with a tad more information in the past as you can see here http://finance.yahoo.com/mbview/threadview/;_ylt=AvYvUqL_9By8f3r8oyXQOHXeAohG;_ylu=X3oDMTB2Y252cDRkBHBvcwMxOQRzZWMDTWVkaWFNc2dCb2FyZHNYSFJVbHQ-;_ylg=X3oDMTBhYWM1a2sxBGxhbmcDZW4tVVM-;_ylv=3?&bn=889b8a53-8b90-3ab7-9224-bba4306971fb&tid=1433712773445-ccd3e902-9b86-49b8-bdf3-76d2281749c0&tls=la%2Cd%2C0%2C3

But honestly, if you're coming on here convinced that anything you or I say has any influence on anything whatsoever, then you really are a baboon sniffin more more mor-on. Take a hike fool. I reference the CC and doing your own DD. I'm not here to baby sit you.

You always have the usual shorts and immature posters throwing around the word bankruptcy like they just can't wait for good folks to lose their jobs and struggle to feed their families. Here's the way I see the position of NOR.
Simply put, NOR has proven that they can manage this very adverse environment, even with unique short term negative forces such as GOJ arbitration, extraordinary costly equipment upgrades, and yet come out more positive than negative. To me, this proves management's ability on numerous levels. NOR could languish in losses only if the aluminum trough significantly declines further. If the trough stays where it's at or pulls back a small bit they will tread water. If/when however, aluminum cycles up, as most economists expect, NOR will explode with profit as a result of the many school of hardnocks company initiatives.

I believe NOR will come out of this a smarter more profitable company. That's why Monday, I grabbed a few shares around the .51 mark. Yes, before earnings because what we have here is an opportunity for life changing wealth. The naysayers are childish. Put them on ignore. You know who they are. I remember just a few years ago these same fools were talking Apple bankruptcy, LOL. They did the same thing when I bought SIRI at .18, 35 and .75.
I have the strong viewpoint of Buy and Hold. Real fact base caution is enlightening but the daily negative nonsense on this board is for babies. Just sayin.

Bankruptcy? I love you guys always throwing that word around as if you believe you have any idea of the real world. Planned down time for maintenance and upgrades. Smelter at less than full capacity and still $24 million cash. Cash flow positive in the first qtr which was predicted "sometime in 2015". Improvements in expense, inventory, management of finance, full smelter capacity resuming soon, lower power cost contract for next 2 years and incremental company investment just to name a few.

Bankruptcy isn't even a possibility. So thanks to a lot of wonderful dorks like you, I may just get a truck load of shares around a buck twenty five. Thanks.
