The execs and employees here are a joke...can you not see that the emperor has no clothes. The talkers on here are clinging to dreams in spite of being shown no reason to believe in this thing anymore...I'd suggest you get out and let it die its slow painful death, at least you can get more than $1 per share...for now. The fact that they are using an ATM instead of what they should have done, a roadshow and proper secondary offering on the heels of Adcom or Approval PROVES they are either inept or willfully taking salaries until this folds.
And, a 50/50 shot we get above $7, or VERY close following earnings report and conf call...CFO is delivering confidence and visibility and clarity to profitability mission. May (optimistically) be above $10 by year end, IMHO.
Thx, I appreciate your posts and input...it's nice to have constructive and informative ideas. Is it too late on that one, inphi? I'm getting into PACB and MTSN, only slightly and very recently...would appreciate your input, if you want to review...I'll look at inphi, thx!
I think we will see institutional buying, those that pushed it to 7.25, step back in over the next week and push this back well over $6. The space has been performing well and I believe Ray has attracted some confidence from the Street, at least those fund managers in the small cap and technology spaces. Seems to be a good buy near these levels or any cheaper.
That is VERY interesting, indeed, thank you for sharing, it does seem noteworthy.
See the UCTT board and dig a bit deeper. Deep value play, nice bounce today, climb should be sustainable. Beat on earnings. Company is building for long term continued growth...will get back above $10 over time. We should add it to the AAOI/NPTN foot race, and do a reset for this marathon at today's prices. I see 30% upside for all three in 3-6 months, buying on dips. The buy right now is NPTN, imho. GLTA
I bought a bit more today...and likely will on Friday with the hope I get one more slight dip, then we can let the slow ascent begin as people come to their senses and notice this profitable company is selling at a Price to Sales Ratio of 0.35-0.39 -- pretty irrational in this space -- seems fair(er) value on improvement and repricing going forward this could climb to $7-$8 without much imagination.
I'm long both of those names, having re-entered NPTN from about $5.80-$6.20, expecting we WILL indeed see new highs above 7.25 in 2-4 months. Good luck. In AAOI for the anticipated ride to $20+ in 3-9 months. Here is one I should have mentioned to the board, for those that care to look, UCTT - I have followed since their ipo, and the industry since about 1990. They reported after the close on Monday and I was prepared for some kind of drop with what was anticipated to be less than stellar numbers/forecasts. The eps were a nice beat, the forward guidance was moderately ugly. This is/was, in my opinion, a perfect opportunity of a small cap with few real followers, and hence very little depth of support when the sellers appear. As a result, it is very difficult to achieve price discovery as it falls, and I anticipated we'd perhaps get close to 6, but didn't anticipate piercing 6, or at least not by much. I got in too early, in retrospect. I bought UCTT like this:
500 @ 6.16 (too early, seemed ok, testing)
1100 @ 5.98 (bottom near?)
590 @ 5.92 (testing)
500 @ 5.84 (feeling cheap here)
1000 @ 5.63 (confident this is pretty good)
2350 @ 5.52 (great at this price, no regrets even if it gets cheaper)
bottomed for a trade at 5.26, trading balanced out at 5.40-5.55 and we've since built support at 5.50.
5.50-5.70 today, volume drying up, closed today 5.66 up 14 cents...onward and upward from here I hope and suspect. Take a good look at the value proposition, seems cheap, I invite all opinions and thoughts.
Thanks and good luck!
Agreed - I believe this is a great value buy anywhere up to $6.25...I am accumulating and have been since the eps and forecast altered the landscape. All new buyers here have a very bright future...imho. I do not expect it to stay under $6 for very long. I expect any buys near here will look very good on paper soon and for a long time into the future...easy 10%, and probable 30% in 1-6 months...institutional longs will likely escalate positions slightly. Buyout possible if value remains depressed for long, perhaps...worth $8-11 in that scenario.
And ADE now you are down? Explain why you sold calls when you think the upside is SO great, you realize that makes NO sense, unless you think YOU can predict WHEN this will rise...and you've clearly been wrong with regard to predicting that EVERY time so far...refer to your own posts to verify, lol.
I picked it up as low #$%$79 and up to 5.94 -- grabbed 4530 shares...ready to see it move higher long-term, expecting mid 6's soon enough, new highs as next report date nears, above 7.25...just didn't think we'd see 5.50 again, jmho, glta!
