That may be true but the message should be don't listen to them - stay clear of negative people. Work twice as hard because it's the right thing to do. The days of people working against you because you are a minority are long gone, and to dwell on them poisons your life as well as those around you.

So in your example, the single trillion dollar taxpayer, not only pays for 100% of the funding to run the government, a portion also gets delivered to everyone earning below a certain amount. Most people don't end up having to NET pay taxes until they are earning $30 - $40K per year.

The Tea Party of today correlates EXACTLY to the original. It is comprised completely by people who fall in the 50% of Americans who actually pay federal income tax, though probably not even most of those in the top 10% of Americans that pay 70% of the taxes:

CNN - Mar 12, 2013 – The top 10% of taxpayers pay over 70% of the nation's income taxes, and are paying a larger share each year.

The fact is, our self-engrandized king could care less about the representation of interests of these most productive and honorable Americans. He is a kook fringe leftist like you that wants them to do more without complaint, while destroying the very souls of those who depend on their daily bread from government.

Child, you have so much to learn. I am unemployed in the sense that I don't work for someone else anymore. But I pay more in taxes every year than you earn all together. I pay over $50K in property taxes alone.

I wasn't alive when segregation was practiced. About 30% of the kids at my high school were black. Being in athletics, I would say that my closest group of friends was about half white and half black. All of my friends made decent grades, were respectful (except for the standard allowance for teenagers), and have now gone on to prosperous lives and families, college or not. The kids, black and white, who chose to be the thugs, or druggies, or do-the-bare-minimum-to-get-by sloths, were not my friends, and now have their own lives of low-paying jobs, welfare and a few in prison that I know of.

You are right about one thing, although I am not hawcreek. My opinions do not change anymore, not since my foundationless mush-minded days of being a liberal. My opinions have matured into life principles because they are now based in knowledge, life experience, and a flourishing tactile faith.

Stupid is as stupid does, and more than half of Americans are gun owners. But there are no racists that support the Tea Party because the only racists left in America are solidly on the left. They have a whole industry of promoting race, introducing a racial aspect to every story, stirring racial tensions where there are none, etc. There is no such thing as a conservative racist.

The Tea Party is comprised of millions of Americans from every walk and phase of life who had never in their lives been active in politics beyond voting until "fundamental transformation" came to us in 2008. They formed by neighbor talking to neighbor, and they gathered by the thousands in Washington, and on the steps of state capitols across the nation because they saw the looming destruction with federal activism, spending and expansion. They were once again dumping the tea in the harbor in protest. They weren't funded by anyone other than covering their own expenses. There was no singular leader. And after the rallies, Tea Partiers went back to their jobs, families and communities, where they are ready to come to the aid of America and her Constitution at a moment's notice.

It is mainstream, main street, everyday, hard working, mom-and-pop, conservative Tea Party Americans that are holding America together by a thread against the darkness that is enveloping the American soul today.
